Reviews for Casa Amarela
Review 1:Wifi was quite slow.
Review 2:Great location in the middle of Agonda, right opposite St Ann's Church. Two minutes to the beach. Good facilities, hot shower and comfortable bed.
Review 3:Too nosy, location is terrible, near the church, bells ringing in the 6am,near the road,we had mouse or rat above our heads on the ceeling-like running a marathon.we didn't slept at all. All in all-terrible experience
Review 4:The staff is the only good thing here...and the room was clean
Review 5:Water just 2 times in a day. And cold!!! The reception is a restaurant! The staff was horrible. The bathroom is horrible. You cant sleep because you are in opposite the church. And near the school. DONT SLEEP HERE!!!
Review 6:A bit noisy due to central location. Water runs out a few times daily and the guesthouse is not always staffed but someone from the shop can ring the staff who are responsive and generally show up within minutes.
Review 7:Staff are helpful. Room is fairly clean, large and airy. Centrally located at the main intersection of town. Only a minute walk from the beach and loads of restaurants.
Review 8:Location
Review 9:Excellent location - right in the centre of the village and few steps from the sea.Staff are very pleasant and polite. I will definitely recommend this hotel.
Review 10:Located also vis a vis the church (bells ringing), school (kids) and just on the main crossing in the city - gets loud. Some water problems with tanks/prassure - were taken care of though.
Review 11:Located very close to the beach, just over the supermarket.
Review 12:No reception where you can sit, food is costly nearby, WiFi & network of mobile doesn't work, you have to bargain for commuting in rickshaw & taxis, they are very expensive
Review 13:Helping staff & hotel at sea face, agonda beach is very good
Review 14:No Wi-Fi, constantly fobbed off about it. Place was shabby, sink dirty, stairs leading up to room filthy, couldn't even supply a toilet roll. I'd have been better off sleeping on the beach
Review 15:Just a stone's throw from the lovely Agonda Beach
Review 16:They promised me WiFi but didn't deliver. I had work to do so I was particular about that. I guess it's not their fault. The darn thing just stopped working a day before I arrived. They were very apologetic. Also, during off-season this place is a bit lonely, so come here only if that "no one else but you for miles" feel is what you're looking for.
Review 17:Its super close to Agonda Beach. Went during end of "off-season". September end. So Agonda is still nice and desolate. A little too desolate heads up. Also, there's a cafe downstairs called Fatima where you get okay food.
Review 18:There is one consideration about the location. Just opposite of chrch and school there are some peak noise level to be expected. If travelers are not used to it it might get an issue. For those coming by bus, the location in booking.Com still wrong: description is correct: Agonda beach opposite the church.
Review 19:Very responsive for pick up from airport and support in any case of matter ( Eg drop of water).
Review 20:A brief warning about the location which is provided by Booking.com website. It is nowhere near the point on the map (Google maps?) where it said it was. We got off the bus too early and walked to the point we had been given but it was incorrect. Just ask people where St Ann's church is and it's directly opposite - above Fatima's Shop.
Review 21:Location was superb. Staff were really nice and the owner was lovely to chat to. Nice view of St Ann's church. Comfortable room (especially the bed). Mosquito plug-in repellent provided. Balcony wonderful to sit and read.
Review 22:Awesome location! Comfortable rooms.
Review 23:No water facility, tv or AC
Review 24:Awesome staff and room
