Reviews for Hotel Edda ML Laugarvatn
Review 1:Poor welcome and goodbye, not sympathetic at all. Not taking breakfast nor dinner might have had an impact. Poor wifi connection.
Review 2:We did not "enjoy" things properly : the place is purely practical as expected for an Edda. Clean, convenient, well located, quiet, no charm, no soul. Efficient and practical, is all.
Review 3:awful design, uncomfortable beds. It is a place that lacks all charm. It is a school during the winter and they make very little effort into changing it to something less like a boarding school dorm
Review 4:At best a place to sleep, but really not worth staying at. The location is good since it is at Laugarvatn but I would rather stay at other places there. Great food at Heradsskolinn restaurant, only a min walk
Review 5:The beds were extremely soft which it is very bad for back. The furniture was very old and used. Definitely it is not a "Hotel" and should be renamed as a hostel.
Review 6:Location
Review 7:Wifi non existent in the evening as every tourist connects to it...
Review 8:Good breakfast . Good value for money. Rooms are basic and small. Common toilets and bathrooms clean, so in general positive if you just stay 1 night before heading to the next destination.
Review 9:- Price - Bed comfort + no possibility to assemble them together
Review 10:- Sink in the bedroom - Good breakfast - Clean - Environment
Review 11:Bit clinical!
Review 12:Great staff! Reception!!
Review 13:The area
Review 14:Never told breakfast wasn't included until after we ate
Review 15:Room was comfortable with a private bathroom. The price was very good.
Review 16:Fill a bit like you are scholar. furniture not new and qualitative
Review 17:Good place to stay on Golden circle (on the way from Pingvellir to Geyser&Gullfos). Specious rooms, not noisy, wi-fi works in room despite offered only in in public areas
Review 18:The fact that this is NOT a true hotel, and this is not stated in the description
Review 19:Compared to the first Edda Hotel (Isafjordur) which we had stayed in two days earlier, this was much better. It is more modern, the rooms larger, and the shower and toilet facilities pretty good. However, it is also boarding school premises used as a hotel during the holiday period as, it seems, are all the Edda Hotels. This fact should be made clear in the description.
Review 20:It is actually a school, which is fine if you know what you are getting in to. Separate beds for a double room.
Review 21:Relatively cheap, restaurant is good, clean, helpful staff,
Review 22:Bedding cleanliness was soso ... No facilities at all for coffee or tea, eventually got a hairdryer much later as the only one available at the desk was already used by somebody else. Breakfast was additional cost. Too expensive for just a hollidays dormitory room.
Review 23:Large clean room with private bathroom, probably OK for just a one night stopover
Review 24:The room was ridiculously hot when we arrived and the windowsill wasfull of dead flies.
Review 25:Breakfast was fantastic
Review 26:none
Review 27:cleanliness
Review 28:Good location close to Geysir and Thingvellir. Breakfast included.
Review 29:Solution that school on summer break is used as hotel
Review 30:storng wind
Review 31:breakfasts, no kettle, no fridge in common area
Review 32:clean room,location
