Reviews for Pedi Beach Hotel

Review 1:No bad experience, but the rooms are a little tired and in need of some updating. If coffee making could be available in the rooms, this should be considered.

Review 2:The service of the staff was fantastic. Maria and her team are just wonderful and they make the holiday wonderful. The setting is quite magical also - beautiful views and bus available to Yialos for €1.50. Very accessible, yet a secret hideaway.

Review 3:paying for wifi- old fashioned- irritating bad as wll as paying for locker. 1 euro p day. ridicolous the shurch being closed wrwppwe in plastic with no oil candle burning. in nanoy beach oillamp was on in the beatiful amall chapel. much better.

Review 4:the dedicated manager

Review 5:Front desk had good and bad staff. No one shows you to your room or helps with luggage. Maria was helpful -a pity the other staff didn't learn from her.

Review 6:Quiet location, easy bus access to Symi and boat transfer to nearby secluded beach.

Review 7:Wifi is bad....and costly. They should find a better solution this.

Review 8:Super friendly and helpful staff. Very personal. Food excellent and rooms are clean. The hotel is right on the beach. I would go back there....

Review 9:It is unacceptable that in the year of 2015 we still have to pay for wifi access. Every little cafe, bar or restaurant in Greece has free wifi. Why does this hotel insists in having payable wifi? As for the hotel, it is mostly with old couples. The location is great, but a bit isolated. But the staff is very helpful to arrange for taxi transfers (and it is quite cheap for the chora and the main port) and they have free transfer from the ferries.

Review 10:the location of the hotl is very nice. The hotel provides free transfer from the ferries and back, even if you have an early ferry boat. Stressless!!

Review 11:Paying for wifi!

Review 12:We stayed for 3 nights at the Pedi Beach Hotel before moving over to the port area (not because we didn't like Pedi beach but because we booked late and couldn't get in for the duration!). Nice hotel right on the beach. Very peaceful location and near to a lovely taverna. Rooms are nice and look like they have been given a refresh reasonably recently. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide range of choices so something for everyone. I would stay at the Pedi Beach Hotel again.

Review 13:Great location, great view... You can enjoy the crystal clear sea right in front of the hotel. The rooms are clean and ok. Maria is great with her smile all the time. She's very friendly and did her best to make us happy and comfortable during our stay. We'll definitely come back to stay longer. Baran & Yasemin

Review 14:Twin beds pushed together didn't stay together!!!

Review 15:The hotel is situated in Pedi, a short bus ride takes you to & from Symi. It's right beside the pier where you can pick up a taxi boat to take you to fabulous beaches. The hotel is spotless; the buffet breakfasts & dinners are delicious (dinner is very good value at 12 euros); the bedrooms are spacious with great showers, best air con I've ever had. Maria (manager) is very helpful & will book tours, taxis etc. We will be back, we loved Symi & Pedi beach hotel :)

Review 16:Great beach front location. Away from the busy centre. Very friendly and helpful staff, we will miss them. Will defiantly come back. Can't wait for next year.

Review 17:Everything was great apart from the road that seperates the hotel and the sea.

Review 18:staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Music was very good. The hotel was calm and quiet, peaceful.

Review 19:No elevator.

Review 20:Great family atmosphere among the guests many of whom are return visitors. Very friendly staff, flexible and helpful. Ideal for older travelers, even traveling alone. Spyros, Maria and Asteropi will run the extra mile for you.

Review 21:Although there has been some upgrading, they need to have new towels, better mattresses and fresh fruit cut up instead of tinned fruit for b'fast.Cleaning staff could do better. They are a bit slipshod and miss lots of basic things.

Review 22:The location and very relaxing. We have been to the hotel many times. Maria the manager is a lovely lady and makes everyone very welcome. A real asset to the hotel

Review 23:No free wifi, nothing else.

Review 24:Staff was so kind, they assist me with all I need. All questions hadanswers. I am injured and they did take care of me very well. The roomwas clean. The breakfast was rich. I enjoyed it. Not for young people -aplace for older people but it was ok with me.

Review 25:Great location across the road from the beach. Bus stops outside the hotel and provides a cheap and quick transfer to the port. Stafg helpful and great breakfast.

Review 26:it was a little bit trouble to travel between Pedi (hotel location) and Symi center. There is only one bus between this direction once in an hour.

Review 27:Clean and quality hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff about early check in, hospitality, recommendations about symi, free and customised transferts for port and hotel. Hotel beach was great to swim and relax.

Review 28:Tha vacation we had in Pedi Beach is one of our best. We sat on the balcony, stared at the stars or sat in the beach and fed the fishes. The place is quiet and nice and helps to relax. The staff is amazing. Both Christina's, Sgyros, Asteropi, Nikolas and lovely Maria. We miss you already.Hope to see you again.

Review 29:The breakfast should be much improved Hotel equipments are old Buses to get into town are full, very unpleasant

Review 30:The staff is very helpful Rooms are ok

Review 31:Fantastic staff - helpful and informed Stunning location Excellent buffet Breakfast - A very good standard Great rooms Highly recommend - we'll be coming back

Review 32:not enough sun beds and umbrellas, acc. to the photos in the internet we hoped for a sandy beach but it wasn't.

Review 33:the rooms are clean and comfortable. the bay view fabuluos, especially at night, very quiet place.

Review 34:Requires major renovation, breakfast is waste of money and time, the a/c needs to be replaced with a new one

Review 35:Location, view, free transfer from the ferry

Review 36:My stay was too short, not enough time to explore this beautiful island! Breakfast could be eaten outside but needs more shade, umbrellas not sufficient. Idyllic setting overlooking the sea and yachts.....perfection!

Review 37:Peaceful location, beautiful swim on doorstep, caring staff, a labour of love which you rarely find! I have visited many Greek islands and just when I thought it couldn't get any better I found Symi! Will definitely return next year.

Review 38:The orange juice at breakfast, which tasted like orange squash.

Review 39:It was relaxed, friendly, in a great position beside the beach. Water taxis and great taverna right next to it. The room was simple but stylish.

Review 40:Bathroom renovation not complete with no shower holder. Wifi charges not realistic when every restaurant in Symi has free wifi.

Review 41:Beautiful location directly opposite beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Reception staff are excellent. Breakfast is OK, nothing special. Fantastic shuttle service to and from ferry that was unexpected.

Review 42:wifi connection is not free of charge.

Review 43:very nice hotel in the quiet part of the island. easy to reach symi town center by bus and to other beaches by small boat.

Review 44:We didn't like the quality of the food offered in breakfast. The jam was the worst kind we have ever had. The egg dishes, yoghurt etc were low in quality. We had one dinner there. It seemed reasonably priced and looked inviting but the same problem. No taste. The location is excellent for swimming and beach but the there is nothing else in that area. You need to take the bus to find the interesting places.

Review 45:When you step out of the hotel you are on the beach. It's clean with very helpful staff.

Review 46:Probabaly a bit dated, but saying that beds comfy, very clean and all rooms have a balcony and view

Review 47:Staff so helpful and friendly, lots of welcome information. Got room to use for remaining last day. Booked us a local restauarant for dinner, at our request. Helpful on information on island and boats running at that time.Have been to Symi many times before and stayed in port, but much more relaxed at Pedi, and lots of buses and taxis to get you out at night

Review 48:There was the smell in the room

Review 49:Beautiful bay in front of hotel

Review 50:Nothing

Review 51:Location and great staff

Review 52:Great place for a romantic holiday for 2..lots to do on the island ;) very helpful and friendly staff at hotel.. I'd definitely go back again :)

Review 53:Having to pay for WiFi

Review 54:The position of hotel, room, staff everything

Review 55:location, value for money, breakfast and dinner

Review 56:There was a charge for using the wifi. Its 2014 wifi should be free.

Review 57:Stuff always willing to help, always smiling.

Review 58:Bus ride into town.

Review 59:Good breakfast and friendly staff. Very clean. Taxi boats to beautiful beaches just outside.

Review 60:We like every thing, We will go to Pedi Beach Hotel next summer.

Review 61:Our room was close to the reception and hallway was very noisy during night and early morning.

Review 62:Room was nice, AC was working, bahroom was clean.

Review 63:Breakfast. More variety needed and the juices were watered down

Review 64:Great location, friendly staff, great bar and lunch was delicious.

Review 65:Incessant buzzing of electricity power line outside my room - not the fault of the hotel, but caused frequent headaches (I don't normally suffer from them).

Review 66:Very friendly and helpful staff. Being collected from and dropped off at the port. Great WIFI. Comfy beds. Very clean. Good walking. Transport connections good.

Review 67:A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Very easy to get around with a bus and taxi boat that stops just outside. Can't wait to stay again! Thankyou

Review 68:Personally I'd like to see more authentic Greek cuisine on the dinner menu however, given that most clients are mature maybe this is in line with the wishes of the majority? Most customers seemed happy with food - quality good.

Review 69:Location is fantastic, straight onto pebbly beach, taxi boats outside to go to nearby bays, bus service to main town and port stops right outside. All staff could not do more to make their guests feel welcome. Beach towels provided on request so ideal for me travelling with hand luggage only.

Review 70:Maybe more fruit at breakfast, sometimes a fruit salad goes down well, and they have tinned fruit to have with yoghurt

Review 71:The view from the terrace was just stunning. The staff were very good. Just the place for a relaxing time. Location by the waters edge could not be beaten. Would recommend to those looking for a quiet time. Symi port not far away by bus or even a pleasant walk.

Review 72:200 euro per night in septembre is realy too match, hotel has good quality, but not in this price kategorie. Hotel has wifi - 2 euro per 30 minutes - OK, but PC in the lobby for the payment?

Review 73:Excellent location, friendly staff, clean room, good breakfest

Review 74:Compared to the paid price notably in Greece, the finishes in the room are poor quality. The breakfast was not so good but it seems to be the case in all the greek hostels.

Review 75:The hotel is located in a lovely small village (Pedi). No tourists come to Pedi compared to Symi. The hotel has feet in the water. We had a room with a beautiful sea view. The area is very quite. The staff is extremely nice and help you for everything.

Review 76:breakfast could be better because of the location return from symi town is a problem at late night

Review 77:friendly staff nice beach transfer from and to the harbour

Review 78:The welcome we enjoyed at this hotel was unforgettable. Maria is a champion, omnipresent hostess. The location is superb with frequent boats to nearby beaches.

Review 79:First of all, Maria is a very nice person who smiles to the hotel clients full day and takes care of them.Very good and silent location. The Pedi bay itself is a very beautiful place and the sea is really great. Clean and still water that you don't want to get out of water. Symi itself is a very typical small pleasent island. The hotel is located in the middle of Pedi Beach, great location. There is also a very nice restaurant near/on the water just nearby the hotel with great Greek meze and seafood.

Review 80:Nothing... Everything was perfect.

Review 81:The location was perfect, the stufff was very kind and helpful,if you go to Symi you must stay at Pedi Beach Hotel, we loved the hotel and the stuff very much.

Review 82:I loved the setting and peace and tranquility of the place - convenience of a regular bus and boat to nrby places of interest. The staff at Pedi Beach Hotel were lovely. I will miss the beauty of Symi island and would consider returning but with my walking shoes next time.

Review 83:Nothing everything was perfecy

Review 84:Its away from the busy tourist strip so it was very quiet and relaxing which is just what I wanted and needed. I just wish I had stayed longer.

Review 85:WiFi was quite expensive and the bathroom was quite small.

Review 86:Just about everything, the location was great, away from the hustle and bustle at the port and just across the road was the beach. The hotel was clean and airy and breakfast was great.

Review 87:Between 18:00 - 06:00 there is a place like a pumping facility or a big electricity generator which make a little noise. you will hear this all over the night in the pedi bay.

Review 88:About one minute walk to pedi bay bus stop.and boat taxies to ag. marina and stefanos heaches. Very kind and friendly stuff, clean hotel and room services. rich breakfast. Free transfer before check in and after chrck out to and from the port

Review 89:The bathroom needs to have towel hook :(

Review 90:Hotel is located few steps from sea so when you arrive with your boat you can carry your luggages even with your dinghy.

Review 91:Some days we waked up because of voice made by room cleaning while theywere cleaning rooms around our room. It was about 9 o'clock in themorning. One day reception called our room at 9:15 A.M. we waked-upwith that call. Breakfast is up to 9:30 A.M. you should wake-up veryearly. Sometimes hotel staff may forget what you are ordered them.Place of hotel is far away from city center, you should ask hotel staffto find you a taxi. Taxi is 7-8 € to city center, from city center tohotel its 5-6 €.

Review 92:Hotel staff were very warm, polite and helpful.

Review 93:Maria og spyros is the best . Goooood service. Pick you up in theharbour , welcome you with ozo. Perfect holiday from start to end - justlove it;-)3. time And not the last. Love from Vidar And Margrethe

Review 94:Well situated hotel on a nice bay with the amination of the port at easyreach by bus. Maria and the staff were doing their best to givesatisfaction to everyone;they give a friendly atmosphere at the hotel. They drive you back to the harbour when leaving. The place is calm;youcan swim right in front of the hotel in cristal clear wate and relax onthe sunbeds;Otherwise there are other beaches which can be reached byboat or by foot. We tried once the restaurant which is just correct butnot expensive. The breakfast are good. The rooms are clean andconfortable with ac

Review 95:Hotel looks and feels quite dated. Almost geriatric in nature.

Review 96:Rooms were clean. Breakfast was better than expected for the price. Viewfrom our balcony was excellent.
