Review 1：The rooms are very simple and could be made a little more luxurious, some candles on the terrace would be a lovely extra. Also some English speaking channels on the TV would be great.

Review 2：We had a wonderful stay in Tenuta Monticelli, it really couldn't have been better. Salvatore was extremely attentive and made us feel really welcome. He was really accommodating to our every need, let us stay by the pool until 5pm on the day of our check out and even brought us a complimentary lunch of fresh sandwiches and fruit. We booked into the Deluxe Double room with spa bath which was totally worth the extra. We spent most evenings in the tub with a glass of wine, looking out across the sea views.

Review 3：Wifi was almost non-existent in our room. You could get a decent signal if you were close to the door. Salvatore said he will add another line or a booster upstairs soon. Would be nice if there was a full length mirror, and tea & coffee facilities inside the room, but certainly not something we couldn't live without during our fantastic 4 days at the lodge!

Review 4：The lodge was beautiful yet simple, and tucked away in an olive field few kms away from Gallipoli. There were only 5 rooms to rent hence not many guests at the same time, which suited us fine as we liked to have quiet times while on holiday. Our room was the Superior Double with a big terrace on the top floor, and offered a wonderful view of the grounds, coastline and a couple of fireworks we saw at night! The room decor was tasteful as it was spacious, clean, bright and airy. Sufficient storage, super comfy bed and beddings, clean and functional bathroom, mini-bar and great air-cond. The pool was a 10+ and we were lucky to have it all by ourselves one fine day! Nature was around, and we enjoyed sharing the surrounding with butterflies, dragonflies, swallows and small lizards! Breakfasts were superior for Italian standards, fresh and abundant despite we were always the last 2 guests eating. Daniele was professional and took great care of us each morning. The ladies at the reception (Marie-Angela and Alberta) were friendly and helped us with all our questions. The lodge is in its 1st season, and its owner, Salvatore has worked hard to complete this paradise, and we are so grateful to him sharing it with us! We are very happy to have picked Tenuta Monticelli and wish Salvatore and his team the best of luck!!

Review 5：A beautiful house with stunning rooms,all beautifully finished to the highest standards.Lovely gardens and a beautiful infinity pool offering a very special sunset. A drink by the pool watching the sun go down is a must. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful and courteous. The owner, Mr Salvatore, was very simpatico and attentive. Excellent!
