Residenza Rio Molas is a lovely countryside hotel in the southeast of Sardinia, close to Muravera and the popular tourist resorts of Costa Rei.
The spacious Rio Molas is built on a gentle hill, with a gorgeous panoramic view of the beautiful coastline and its endless sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
The Rio Molas is surrounded by impressive ancient olive trees and Mediterranean vegetation. Formerly a country cottage, it was renovated recently.

Review 1：As other reviews report, there were many wasps around the pool and the patio, not on our balcony. That was annoying sometimes also during breakfast or at the beginning of the dinner. It would be great if some countermeasures could be taken as that would allow the guests to enjoy the pool and the patios even more.

Review 2：Staff: Professional and kind. They did their best to make our staying comfortable and relaxing. Rooms: Very spacious and extremely clean! Never found such a clean hotel before! Food: Fresh and natural. Very good cuisine from Agnese, especially for the typical dishes. View: Beutiful! Beaches: I would advise to have a car if you stay here, but in general to see Sardina you will need a car. Fifteen/twenty minutes drive from Residenza Rio Molas there are the first great beaches. We went to Feraxi and Monte Turnu, but also drove further to Villasimius, which is much busier in the high season, but deserves a visit for its white sand and crystal clear waters. We stayed at Rio Molas for 4 days in August 2014 and we will surely return in one of our future trips to sardinia. Congratulations to Rio Molas for their hospitality, professionality and service!

Review 4：Our family of four spent a week here in July. We had rooms number 1 and 2. The first number has a separate terrace with table and chairs. The location is beautiful and quiet with spectacular panorama of a mountain slope. And it is about an hour’s drive from Cagliari airport. Rooms with shower and toilets were clean. If you stay here you should have a car. The nearest beach is San Giovanni and there’s Marina Gio Restourant about 2.5 km from it. It is worth to go to sandy and wide Capo Ferrato beach. It’s a 20 minute ride with a car, about 15 km. On the way to the beach there’s a small town of San Priamo where you can have a dinner in Ristorante Su Crogallu. Dinner is also available at this place but we haven’t tried it. Pool is small but it is good if you want to cool down from the heat. All things considered, we had a nice stay here.

Review 9：Great choice to relax outside the town. They offer good range of fuud for breakfast, but what was the best is dinner! The price is set to 25EUR (starter, first, main, dessert), choice is limited to 2 option per dish but you get best regional food you can imagine.

Review 10：Access to this property is up a very rural track. I would not recommend driving to this property in a nice car that you care about. The electrics at this property leave a lot to be desired. Whilst I appreciate the rural location, perhaps they need to install a larger generator. Whilst the electrics never failed, the lights flicker and dim even when just flushing the toilet or taking a shower. We ate dinner at the hotel on the first night only and it was very poor. Breakfast was average.

Review 12：Nothing for us but FYI note that the wifi is very poor and not reachable from the room. In addition, the restaurant only serves the menu of the day (not possible to have something else to eat for the dinner).

Review 14：Residenza Rio Molas was amazing place to stay for our honeymoon! Francesco and other stuff makes you feel really like at home, they are more than helpful and pleasant! The food is fantastic, but mostly the intimate, relaxing atmosphere and great view to the sea put you out of reality and gives you so much fresh energy :)
