Review 1：The lift was super slow! Car parking can be an issue. If the local car park is full then it's a drive down the hill and a walk back up. No problem....unless it's raining! And those church bells, lovely to hear, but not as frequently.

Review 5：The manager was nor very kind, he was rude and didn't want to follow the agreed check-out time. And the girl in the reception was not allowed to do the check-out so I had to wait 10 minitues for the manager to come! The other girls in the reception did not know anything about Bergamo Alta.

Review 15：Stayed here 3 or 4 times now. Has been consistent on all occasions. Good central location in the Cita Alta; fantastic old building, great decor & very quiet - just perfect. A a seasoned international business traveler; this is one hotel I would spend my own money on.

Very good location, just in the center of an old town. The hotel has a big advantage - its own garage which is very close located.

Also, can be a bit tricky to find if travelling by car & require parking at the hotel, as the streets can be a bit of a labyrinth, even with GPS.

Review 84：We had read other reviews and were looking forward to our stay. We were however, very dissapointed. If you are staying 1 / 2 nights probably not bad but we were staying 6 nights. We went for what we considered the best room ie. a suite but that was a joke. Their idea of a suite is another room to cram extra guests into to sleep. There was not one comfy place to sit down in the whole room only a large put up bed, which might have been good as a bed but lousy as a sofa unlees you were 8ft tall.

Review 98：Had breakfast in room first morning was a bit sparse. Asked for some fruit second morning and loads more came with it . Yoghart, more bread etc. also asked for some milk to use with coffee machine in room and got charged for a jig of milk? Not all take coffee without milk!

Review 104：You have to pay for the location and luxury which is understandable butmake sure you read the booking details carefully. I booked a suite for$500 per night. Fine print indicates thats for 1 person. When I got tothe hotel with my wife They added on $100 per night for her. I havetravelled the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels and that is thefirst time I got charged for bringing my wife (she stays in the samebed) and while I complained they would do nothing to adjust the bill.
