Review 1：Really great place in the heart of Selfoss. Pleasant staff, nice women, who told us where is nearest supermarket and the pool. Cozy flat, big TV, large comfortable bed. Great place to stay, hardly recommend!
Review 2：One word: great!! Great studio apartment, great location, great hostess. After a long drive on icy roads, it was so nice to find such a warm, nice and clean studio waiting for us! The WiFi was really fast, the beds divine and the hostess even helped us figure out what roads were best to drive on when we continued our trip. Thanks a lot!

Review 8：Guðrún was extremely welcoming and the accommodation was cozy and comfortable. She chatted with us for a while and also provided us with a good restaurant recommendation which served great Icelandic cuisine. Thumbs up! There's a big supermarket, Krónan, just a couple of minutes' by car.

Review 13：Just an amazingly convenient location and it was the only time we got to see the Northern Lights. It is located along the Southern rim of the Golden Circle and was very easy for us to do all the attractions from Reykjavik going the northern route of the Golden Circle and settling Selfoss. It has a number of Grocery stores and gas stations and served as a convenient place to get away and save some money on our Road Trip. Parking and finding the location is very easy. The apartments are well equipped with knives, pots, cleaning utensils. It served as a nice break from hotels and restaurants. We even took a day trip to the Vestmannaeyjar Islands and got back by 7 PM that night. The owner was always accessible, but tried to stay out of our way so we could explore.
Review 14：Lack of parking. Not enough cooking utensils/equipment. No microwave. Rather shoddy finish to tiles/paintwork etc. in shower room. Poor selection of T.V. channels.. BBC Brit!!! and Sky News U.K.

Review 19：Fantastic little lodge style apartment, right on the river, but walking distance from restaurants. Warm welcome from staff, DOUBLE BED big tick in the box, heating on at our arrival, so the place was lovely and warm already.

Review 24：Loud group of lads arrived in a minibus. They were out boozing and were very loud on the final night in the nest apartment. We had a 5am start for the flight so not good. We don't feel this kind of establishment should book large numbers of mates on boozy weekends.
Review 25：Lovely spacious apartment and a very friendly welcome from the gentleman who was looking after the rooms. He also tried to book a tour for us which was a very nice gesture.

Review 28：Gudrun, the owner, speaks good English and was very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm, modern and well-equipped. It is situated in a quiet residential area near the river, just a few minutes walk to an excellent bakery for breakfast goodies. The Thai restaurant around the corner is superb. We'll be back!

Review 31：We booked the 3 bedroom apartment for our Iceland trip and enjoyed our stay here immensely. The owners were very friendly and most helpful. It is a well furnished and home from home. Modern bathroom with a brilliant shower. The main bedroom is large with a extra king size bed. And the kitchen is practical and has all the kit required for a typical holiday let. In fact better than most we have come across. Selfoss is About a 90 minute drive to Keflavik airport and a fantastic location for exploring the South and Golden Triangle with Reykavik an hours drive away

Review 33：A good-sized apartment for 6 adults. Kitchen is not very spacious but well equipped - including the provision of tea and coffee. We could also use the washing and drying machine.
Review 34：Beatiful, spacious and modern flat with great bathroom and kitchen. Huge living room with TV. The manager is very friendly. Great value for what we paid (200 usd). The only reason it is a 9.6 instead of a 10 is because it is a half-basement flat which looks out onto other rental flats, so privacy is limited if you want to leave the window shades open.
Review 35：Everything was perfect. And the owner was outstanding in resolving a transport problem. The location was a convenient short drive from Keflavik that provided the opportunity to shop for food etc, before heading into the central highlands.

Review 39：This place was amazing! It was beautifully decorated and looked brand new - being able to cook our own meals was great as well. The lady who checked us in (not sure if she was the owner) was lovely and friendly, and made a great first impression.
Review 40：Our host was excellent. She directed us to some excellent sites and even offered a discount because the stove top would not work even though it was me and not the stovetop! Also let us do a load of laundry. Would highly recommend.
Review 41：What a lovely, well-thought-out apartment! The owner greeted us warmly, made sure we had everything we needed and recommended a great local cafe for dinner, and then respected our privacy for the remainder of our stay. It was perfect.
Review 42：The apartment was roomy, clean and bright. The owner was very helpful, even letting us have a late check out so we could visit the spa which she recommended. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and the owner directed us to the most convenient supermarket.
Review 43：The apartment we had was very nice and modern, with nice furniture (think Ikea-like Scandinavian design) and a very comfortable bed. The room had a great, fully-equipped kitchen area, which allowed us to prepare some breakfast (it is not provided). There was even a table with chairs for four. The room overall was very large, which is a nice change over some of the places we stayed in Iceland. There was a very nice TV with satellite service and free wifi. There is even a deck with chairs if you want to sit outside. The owner of the property was exceptionally nice, and she showed us into the apartment, explained the local area, and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us the key to the laundry room, which was great because our laundry was piling up. It was a very quiet place, so we all slept very well.

Review 45：Cute, lovely apartment which is roomy and well laid-out, with lovely little touches peppered in all corners. Nice patio area. Good, quiet location close to the river which is perfect for a serene walk and a few steps away from supermarket and bakeries.
Review 46：The information on booking.com said that "the full price of thecottage will be charged to your credit card at least 14 days prior toarrival". For this reason I was surprised and somewhat suspiciouswhen the owners showed up at the cottage with a card reader and askedfor a full payment - I had been travelling for three weeks by then andcould not check if my credit card had been billed or not. The parking israther limited when all the cottages are taken. We had to wait until 9pmfor the second bed (sofa) to be prepared for my son. The rent is ratherexpensive, but considering the vicinity of Reykjavik it is probably afair deal.NOTE: You will not find Thoristun street on the map of Selfoss! Look for Poristun instead - it's the Icelandic P which is pronounced like "th" :)

Review 48：We had the three room appartment. Excellent stay! Appartment is cosy, very clean and spacious. Would stay here again. Selfoss is a good location for the golden circle, we also did a daytour to Landmannalaugar from Selfoss (3,5 hours driving).

Review 51：Very spacious( not your typical tiny Scandinavian hotel room ) , recently remodeled and located in town close to restaurants and other stores for shopping. Located on a quiet street. It doesn't serve breakfast but with the kitchen area that wasn't an issue for us.

Review 67：The location was perfect for visiting the main sites, for access to the local shops etc and the location by the river was nice for walks and views. The apartment was warm and comfortable with a very nice shower and kitchen with full oven etc.
Review 68：There was a workman working quite late into the night in one of the rooms adjacent to our rooms, presumably to get the room updated before the main season starts. He was only there one night but he did work until about 2 am and it was a bit disturbing. Otherwise, very comfy stay.

I also appreciated the little touches like the lovely chocolates upon arrival, the colour scheme in each room but my personal highlight was the amazing karaoke on the TV. Karaoke was definitely welcomed by a group of travellers weary from driving through extreme Icelandic winds.

Review 86：The apartment was extremely spacious. The bedding was luxuriously comfortable. There was a fully equipped kitchen of which we made full use for dinner and breakfast. Plenty of supermarkets around the corner and the geothermal swimming pool of Selfoss is just a 5 min drive. Overall can't recommend this place enough. It has a complete feel of luxury and comfort without the accompanying price tag.

The apartment is large, the kitchen is very well equipped, the heating is very good, everything is new and clean, the shower is strong and hot. The owner is very kind. We loved it and we recommend.

Review 119：We stayed 2 nights in the deluxe apartment in July as a family with a 1 year old. We didn't need all three bedrooms but loved the space and modern style. All we needed was there and still looked very new. The staff was very friendly. I can definitely recommend the place and it is good value for money, especially compared to pricy Reykjavik.
