Review 1：I was the only guest there for 3 of my 4 nights and had a great time. I can imagine that during busier times the shared areas including the bathroom could be in high demand.
Review 2：This is a family run business. The upstairs of the home has been converted into four guest rooms with a shared bathroom, a washing machine and a communal area with a fridge, microwave and a small table and chairs. All linen and towels are provided. You can buy a breakfast but it's cheaper to walk to the local shop. Everything was clean and comfortable. The owners daughter was looking after the place when I was there and she was very kind and helpful with lots of great tips and insider knowledge to make sure I got the most out of my stay. Selfoss is a great base for day trips to the golden circle and south coast. The town has all the amenities you would need- bank, shop, restaurants, post office. If you are hoping to see the northern lights you can reach dark spots just five or ten minutes drive from town.
Review 3：There is only one bathroom and no extra toilet for the four rooms. In the morning it can get very busy.
Review 4：Functional rather old looking room and shared bathroom but it is all fine. You have all you need: the bath is big and works very well with space for drying clothes if you need to hand wash and there is a common little office area with plates and a small fridge for a small lunch. You can find tee and coffee in your room. The breakfast looks more like a packed lunch and is very complete.

Review 6：The bedroom, as the bathroom, is very clean and nice. The family is also very nice with guests. The price is really reasonable compared to other guesthouses.
Review 7：The owner was very nice, and friendly. Her mild manner enticed my travel companion and I from the outset of our stay. She was very forthcoming with information about the local area which aided us on our travels. The rooms were spacious, and comfortable. Public use of microwave, hairdryer, straightener, dishes, washing machine - it was fantastic! All the home comforts were included! We had been very tired from our travels around Iceland, and the owner was kind enough to let us sleep in a little after the checkout date.
Review 8：One reason I chose this place was because of the "laundry". However, I arrived pretty late and the host was afraid it would disturb the other guests, so he let me do a load in his own machine downstairs and put it through the dryer for me = special service, much appreciated! Enjoyed talking with host about "old days" in Iceland (grandmother lived in turf house in the mts, etc.).
