Reviews for Kolokotronis Hotel & Spa
Review 1:Beautiful property and villas. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. Wish we had more time to enjoy the exceptional room and property.
Review 2:No instructions for cooker and hard to work! Huge kitchen with hob and oven but only 2 huge pans and very little to cook with . A microwave would have been useful with some glass dishes. Grill pan was dirty from last use.
Review 3:Very spacious apartment. Only 5 mins walk to beach. Lovely pool and bar. Would definitely stay again.
Review 4:View on supermarket- nothing they can do about it, breakfast not included (not frequent in Greece, especially as room quite expensive)
Review 5:Lovely room apartment with nice view from terrace- beautiful sunset. Big pool with convenient bar next to it- after a long day very nice to drink a fresh orange juice by the pool. Dinner was very very good!
Review 6:Mosquitos/bugs everywhere. I counted 27 bites on my arms alone. This made it hard to sleep. Never opened a window or sat outside either - it was torture. Apparently the doors had screens but i didnt see them. Water pressure in shower was a joke. 3 level unit so if anyone downstairs used the water (studio apartments on bottom level) forget having a shower. Also very steep walk to the rooms. (Not for elderly)
Review 7:Great private pool on the 2 story villas. Kids loved it! Wonderful views. Close to supermarket. Great self catering facilities. Would def be back however will bring my own super strength bug repellant from australia! Spacious rooms. We purchased breakfast one morning and it was HUGE! Highlight! Nice staff
Review 8:Stayed in an outstanding studio, resembling traditional buildings of Mani. There's plenty of space to host a family of 4. The kitchen is well-equipped with quality appliances. There's also a large, shaded patio with great views of Kalogria, Stoupa and sunset. Totally exceeded my expectations, especially when taking into account the price.
Review 9:The Greek night meal. We would have preferred traditional Greek music playing in the background rather than the radio station which we endured.
Review 10:The Kolokotronis is a village style apartment hotel laid out on a hillside overlooking Stoupa village and the sea. Each of the apartments has a detached feel and all are close to the pool area and other amenities. The apartments are spacious and stylish and maintained scrupulously clean with fresh towels and toiletries regularly replenished.
Review 11:The rooms close to the main road can be a bit noisy and the big supermarket is spoiling the fantastic view from the balcony of some of the villas
Review 12:We stayed at a 2-bedroom flat. Very spacious, master bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen (including a modern stove/oven and all necessary appliances of a kitchen). Amazing mattresses!!!!!!
Review 13:Hotel was faultless, just wasn't keen on Stoupa...just too touristy, preferred Kardimili,5km away.
Review 14:Fantastic studio! Huge room, with modern decoration; well equipped, separate kitchen, spacious balcony. Quiet with great view to the sea.Mosquito nets on all windows and doors. Spa, pool, etc on site. Everything you could want....
Review 15:Great spacious apartments, private and well maintained. Staff are lovely and really friendly and helpful. Huge and tasty breakfast, nice pool but a stone's throw from kalogria and stoupa beaches and all amenities. Would highly recommend!
Review 16:Nothing we didn't like-there was a little noise from the road as the property is elevated and this is inevitable.
Review 17:Excellent accommodation-spacious rooms, comfortable beds, spacious terrace with lovely views, beautifully laid out 'Village'. Brilliant position. V helpful staff and delightful owner. Peaceful setting with attention to plants, flowers, and creating a special environment.
Review 18:The hotel is not that close to the beach, which is not a problem if you have a car. The wifi signal wasn't very strong and kept dropping out.
Review 19:The apartment was spacious and clean with large living area and balcony with ocean views. Full kitchen facilities allowed us to cook meals. There is a supermarket a short walk away. The hotel has a nice restaurant next to the pool. The pool was lovely and there is a kids pool attached which our son loved.
Review 20:I think the price could be 85-90 eur per night not 100 eur or include breakfast. wifi should be in every room not only in some areas. Wifi was poor, maybe because of the service provider in the area. Hotel restaurant expensive.
Review 21:freshly renovated, large ceiling, well located aic-conditioner, sofa, large bed, flat tv, good fridge and kitchen facilities, kitchen stuff (spoons, knives, plates, pans etc) ready for use. Helpful staff, good pool area for children, childrens playground, one can even walk to the nearby mountains. The hotel area looks like a traditional village. Larger store just 1-2 minutes walk away. a good view from hotel terrace. I liked the feeling to stay there! - its like every guest had their own small villa. :) 6 minutes walk to the kalogria beach, 10-13 minutes to stoupa beach and center.
Review 22:Beautiful place with great views and lovely people. Pool was a nice size and the lunch time food by the pool was good too. Overall if you are going to kalogria or stoupa this place is perfect. 5 min walk to kalogria beach and about 8 mins to stoupa beach.
Review 23:Nothing really though if you want somewhere in the village and right near to beach may not be for you. 15 minutes gentle walk to beach. Wi fi not good -much better in tavernas.
Review 24:The position on the hill above the village. Therefore great views. Very comfortable accomodation with a balcony with great sea views. Helpful staff. Spacious comfortable good pool and pleasant terrace with great views
Review 25:Great friendly owners, great location and amazing facilities.
Review 26:All good.
Review 27:Great value, friendly staff and good facilities.
Review 28:Lovely hillside location with great views. Very relaxed, accommodation was spacious, clean and well equipped.
Review 29:Been to Greece 15 times ... best hotel yet!
Review 30:The swimming pool was divine The restaurant was well priced and had very tasty food The staff were very helpful and friendly
Review 31:Fantastic views, great pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Review 32:Nice views and very polite owners. Very close to Stoua and Kalogria, two of the most beautiful Greek beaches.
Review 33:Hard to find
Review 34:Pool, Terrace, Veiw, Nesx to supermarktet
Review 35:Perhaps a little bit too clinical on the interior. Very well designed but all the walls are bare. There should be an international ban on shower curtains but in this case it didn't try to cling to you as the shower was double size!
Review 36:Beautifully designed individual spacious stone built apartments surrounded by lovely stone terracing with olive trees. Big bedrooms rooms with air conditioning , large comfy beds and bathrooms with a big shower. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very peaceful too.
Review 37:Very beautiful and well designed villa A nice pool and a very good breakfast The owner is very nice
