Reviews for Saracen Village

Review 1:The staff was nasty, and very unfriendly. As we were sleeping, someone came in our room and stole our money and passports. The front desk was not helpful or sympathetic. They wouldn't even call the police because they said they didn't do that and didn't know the number. We felt very afraid and unsafe. They seemed to be in on the robbery, especially the desk clerk during the night shift and the hotel security crew who showed up an hour after we found out we reported the robbery. The pools were filthy and food was disgusting. We were a party of 12 and they made us eat at separate times. This was the worst experience I ever had in a hotel. Never again will I stay at the Saracen Isola delle Femine!!!!

Review 2:The beach was beautiful and the view was extraordinary.

Review 3:It catered almost totally to large parties of school children rather than our age group. Practically no one spoke English and some staff were unhelpful and rude. There were few bar or food facilities and not much in the area. We had to rely on taxis which were extortionate as there was only one provider. There were lovely restaurants and bars about an hour away but that wasn't much help. There was a rubbish strike so difficult to walk far

Review 4:It was clean and the rooms were big. The pool area was nice and it was between mountains and the sea.

Review 5:Unclean! Far from the center and area outside the hotel teritory was terrible! Needs a reservation. we were too, but got a room with 5 beds and nothing more...

Review 6:It has a nice private beach. Breakfast +/-

Review 7:The hotel is old and dated. The rooms only had air conditioning at certain times of day. The beds are small, old, uncomfortable and sheets are torn. No Wifi unless near front desk. No flat screen tvs or English channels. Over priced with no amenities that were listed.

Review 8:The location to the sea was nice.

Review 9:Old décor, needs a re decoration, cleaned the mould of the shower myself, pool was fine, beach convienent and lots of staff with lots of energy, reasonable value for money, just don't be expecting four star luxury.

Review 10:when I asked if the AC is working the guy at the front desk didn't even bother to raise his eyes at me and his answer was just a wave of his head and a" tzu tzu tzu" out of his mouth. Not even a "No". When I asked why the answer was that they don't turn the AC on untill it is very hot outside ( it was June and 28°C). We couldn't sleep untill late at night because we had to keep the door open and it was vey noisy outside. Our room was facing the pool and there some kind of live show untill late at night.

Review 11:The location is great.

Review 12:We wish we could have a seaview room especially because there was a group of students who were very noisy by the pool untill 1 am and we could not sleep.

Review 13:We really appreciated that we could check in at 1pm. The staff was very helpfull when we called.

Review 14:Decor is a bit dated.

Review 15:The swimming pools, beach and friendly staff.
