Review 1：The breakfast buffet could have had more vegetables & salty options, the sweets were too much. Otherwise, I really appreciated that they had local meats and cheeses.

Review 4：Hotel and rooms were quiet, breakfast with nice selection of regional products, many gluten-free and lactose-free products to choose from. However, be ready for sweet breakfast with no cooked dishes.

Review 5：There were stains on the hotel room walls. The general condition of the room was quite worn. At checkout, the hotel clerk ran our credit card several times, and said it didn't work. We offered him our debit card. He acted like he didn't understand, and refused it. We gave him cash, during which time he attempted to shortchange us. We hurried to the train station. When we arrived at train station, we had no problem buying tickets with our credit card. We then ran back to the hotel where we observed the clerk allowing a hotel guest to pay with her debit card. We then demanded that the clerk give us our cash back and run our credit card again. Of course it worked. He reluctantly returned our cash after trying to once more short change us by 30 euros. We made a complaint to booking.com. The hotel replied that they were having problems with their credit card system that morning- which we do not believe given the sequence of events.

Review 14：Room was nice and clean, it was cleaned every day. Although 1 bed room was pretty small, I had no problem with it. Staff speak English without problem and was helpful with any problem. Window shades let you to make full darkness in the room, which is nice if you want to sleep longer without being interrupted by light or noises. Breakfast was good but I would appreciate higher variety in pastry. Bread would be nice. Overall, the hotel looked very nice and I spent nice days in Bergamo.

The staff wereproud & easy to see why. Huge breakfast buffet that you don'tnormally see in Europe. We had to leave early but we were offered totake breakfast items along. Recommend this stay unless you are too youngto appreciate history.

Although it was fixed within the hour, we were glad we were not checking in/out at that time or getting the luggage 5 of 6 floors up/down would have been rather inconvenient.

There is a Monday morning flea market with fantastic bargains that is held right across from the hotel, which was a pleasant surprise and a great opportunity for shopping for my wife. The front desk staff were able to answer all our questions in English, which was a big help. Great experience overall

Review 117：We have stayed at tourist/budget hotels around the world but this must be one of the best. Our bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean. The bed linen, towels and toiletries were very good quality. We enjoyed a more than adequate cold buffet breakfast. The staff were friendly,helpful and efficient. We would certainly stay again.
