Review 1：We stayed at Hotel Il Tiglio while skiing at Roccaraso. The hotel was a convenient location, about 20 minutes from the ski hill. There was plenty of parking on the street and a free ski/snowboard check. The hotel is extremely clean and well kept, and Mario is a wonderful host. He helped us make a reservation at the restaurant across the street, which was fantastic. We will definitely be staying here again, both for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. Overall a fantastic stay.

Review 7：Stayed for two nights at the end of a very whirlwind 16 day trip through Italy and Sicily. Hotel Il Tiglio and the town of Castel di Sangro was the highlight of our trip. It was so comfortable and Mario did everything he could to make our stay pleasant. I would highly recommend a stay.

In center of town, updated room features, wonderful breakfast treats made by Massimo, combined with Mario's superior customer service made our 1st Italian stay a memorable experience. We were very generously treated like family for 10 days by these amazing hosts.

Review 10：Mario & Mossimo were warm and inviting. The B&B was beautifully restored yet maintained its historic characteristics. Mario walked us across the street to a wonderful restaurant, translated the menu and assisted us in ordering. Would absolutely stay there again.

Review 14：El Tiglio's hosts are warm, welcoming, and friendly. We visited Castel di Sangro to do family genealogy research. Mario and Massimo made it a memorable experience. The Inn is comfortable, very clean, and charming. It is a very convenient location and you can walk everywhere in town. One of the highlights is Massimo's incredible homemade breakfast pastries. Mario was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations. In addition, he went above and beyond to help when I needed to get an unexpected prescription filled. If we're lucky enough to visit again, we look forward to enjoying the warm hospitality at El Tiglio!

Review 15：A perfect stay! Mario prides himself on taking great care of his guests and it shows. Mario is warm and gracious and makes the BEST fresh squeezed blood-orange juice in all of Italy. The juice alone is worth booking a room at Hotel il Tiglio but everthing was delicious. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The location is perfect for sight-seeing. And Mario? Well... go stay at his hotel and you'll see how wonderful he is. :)
