Review 1：It would have been nice to have more options on the TV; namely a couple English speaking stations.
Review 2：The female manager provides top notch customer service. When checking in, she offered a tour of the breakfast area or common kitchen area. In addition, she offered to do laundry and returned the laundered items neatly folded and fresh smelling. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was great as it was close to restaurants, grocery stores and shops. It was a very relaxing place to stay for a couple weary travelers.

Review 8：Good location in this small town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good cooking facilities. Do choose the bedrooms across the floor, like we did. The walls are rather thin, so if your room would be next to the shower/toilet it will ge annoying.

Review 12：This guesthouse was simply amazing. We arrived slightly after check in time but were accommodated by the host. The room itself was spotless and very roomy. The bathroom was also very clean. The shared kitchen was perfect to prepare dinner and also to eat breakfast before our journey.

Review 18：We have stayed in guesthouse a for our entire 10 day trek through Iceland. This was by far our worst stay. We had a room on the top floor. When we checked in, the room had a dusty smell. The bathroom did not seem very clean either. That night, I couldn't fall asleep because something kept biting me in the bed and the room was extremely hot and stuffy. I had red marks on my leg and my belly when I woke up in the morning. I never found out what was biting me all night, but the experience left an unpleasant memory for us.
Review 19：This guesthouse was in great shape, clean and well appointed. I need to make mention of Sigga though. She runs (owns?) this guest-house and is incredibly wonderful. My wife left our camera in our room when we left and Sigga immediately got in touch with us, offering to send it wherever, then ended up driving it to Reykjavik for us. Wonderful and thoughtful service. Thank you Sigga!!

Review 28：The couple who run the guesthouse were very warm and welcoming. The house was lovely and clean and the room felt comfortable with a pretty view. They also very much respected your privacy and space and were not too imposing (despite it being their house!) The location was good and a short walk to the cafe's and river. Selfoss itself does not have too much but it is well located for driving.

Having the kitchen is a wonderful option and the layout of the place is fantastic. Great Value for Iceland! Highly recommend!

The staff was friendly; the location was clean, and the entire experience was better than expected. The lodging exceeded expectations. We had a lovely time here, and the staff was so helpful. This was the best place we stayed at during our 5-day Iceland vacation. I highly, highly, highly recommend it!

Review 35：Hosts helped us in a jam. Because of flight delays, we didn't arrive till 4 am. No problem as the host emailed us a solution while we waited in copenhagen. These folks are very very nice.
Review 36：We stayed at five lodgings while in Iceland ... this one was our favorite. Private bath and a large super clean room. We felt like we were at home ... with kitchen access and all the coffee I could drink. Proximity to Pingvellir, waterfalls, birding and geological sites was great.
