Review 1：The room was very hot with no air on which proved to be a problem. We appreciate the nature of this accommodation possibly precludes such a luxury.

Review 3：Our room was right next to highway so it was very noisy. When we tried to open the windows, we found out there was no mosquito net...you can't really open the window during summer time and there is NO air conditioner in the room...so i found mosquito bites in morning

Review 7：the house IS NOT a 1.5 km form the 1st entrance of the lakes as it seen in the map.its 6.5 km away form it.the walking distance IS NOT 15 min from the 1st entrance.its quite a lot.of course its 5 min distance to the lakes ,but by car!!! if we did not have a car,we should have faced a great problem getting there,since there is no public transportation from the lakes to the house.

Review 8：The lady host was very polite.she waited us late at night since we were lost get there.the room was a big one, as its seen in the photos.she did offer us two small bottles of Croatian wine.the WiFi was a stable one.we did have a ventilator as they have previously told so.they don't speak English,but in German we could manage to communicate fine.

Review 9：Perfect location near to Plitvice Lakes. Very clean, well equipped and spacious room. Friendly and helpful owner. The check in was very flexible. We really enjoy and everything was perfect.

Review 13：-market right across street -very short drive (<10 min) to Gate 1 of Plitvice -the host and hostess could not have been nicer, they speak only Croatian and German, but tried so hard. When we arrived they had beer and lemonade in hand for us! We spent evenings on the patio with them and we learned tons. -got lots of ice cream treats too :) -we rented the 2 bdrm unit with full kitchen and it was surprising large. additional private deck. -very large, clean, modern bathroom also. -restaurants nearby (some walkable)

Review 14：Loved this hotel. The owners had complimentary drinks in fridgefor us on arrival. After a full day going round the lakes there was a knock on the door and the owner was there with Ice cream Sundaes for us which went down well. The room was spotless and cleaned each day. There is a supermarket across the road and a few eating places close by. Location wise this was perfect for us as we had brought our own car from Scotland. It was a short drive to the Lakes entrances (about 6km). Although we spoke no Croatian and the owners English was limited there was no problem communicating with each other.

Review 16：It's a little far away from the Plitvice Lakes. There is no timetable of bus. You'd better drive yourself. 民宿地點離十六湖公園大概有快10公里，公車時間不確定，沒開車的話不太方便。

The room was comfortable even for four of us (originally a room for 3 - and they did not charge for the extra bed). Two little bottles of wine and a box of fruit juice waited for us in the fridge. Ideal for a short stay.

Review 27：The hosts are a very nice and friendly old couple, offering real hospitality, not just accommodation - we got a bottle of wine and juice for the kids as a welcome present; the kids got also some chocolates for 'being so sweet' and our girl even got 20 kuna for being a pretty little girl :) I felt just like visiting grandpa and grandma in the countryside. The attitude of the hosts leaves unforgettable memories and nice feelings. The room was tidy and clean, we had a small kitchen with everything necessary, even coffee, it was cleaned up every day. All of the above offset my worries about being too noisy as the hotel is located on the main road between Zagreb and Plitvice lakes. In fact, none of us had problems with the night sleep, and the beds and pillow were very convenient. And we didn't stay at the hotel during the day, as there are so many beautiful places to visit in the region.

Review 28：We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at Villa Hodak, and it was great! There was plenty of room for the 5 of us (adults). The apartment was well equipped with anything you might need, extra blankets, towels, hair drier, kitchen supplies, etc. The location is ideal - across the street from a small grocery store, and a very short drive from P1 of Plitvice. The villa is easy to find as well, it's right on the main road and has plenty of parking. We were extremely pleased and would stay here again if we come back to Plitvice.

Review 44：It would have been helpful if the hosts could speak English. We had a difficult time figuring out how to get to Plitvice Lakes on our own. It is a treacherous and dangerous walk along the highway to the lakes (apparently about 30 minutes walk) - I would suggest taking the bus. The bus stop is very close to Villa Hodak, however bus times are not posted on the bus stop so you should check online for times before hand (buses aren't that frequent). WiFi use at Villa Hodak is limited to just the general kitchen area.

Review 46：Host Lady is very kind. Home made breakfast was excellent. Rooms, kitchen, bathroom well equipped. We spent only a night to visit Plitvice Lakes with three kids. I can fully recommend.

Review 53：3 bed room has a window on a very busy street in the season. There is no air-con so we had to sleep with the window open. I was tired after the trip and I could not sleep. There is no ventilation in the room and you can not open the door to the bathroom because it has a separate entrance from the main hall.

Review 54：All new, clean and fresh. A large common kitchen on the ground floor. It is easy to find. Market across the street.

Review 55：There was too much insects flying in at night. As it is somewhere close to the woods, screen windows should be installed to prevent the entering of bugs, or maybe install an air conditioner instead due to the heat. Also, the kitchen ware was not really well as the knife was so blunt you can't even slice a tomato.
