Villa Kate sells fast on our site. Completely surrounded by greenery in its 2000 m² large garden, Villa Kate offers air-conditioned apartments with free Wi-Fi, satellite TVs and beautiful sea views. It is within 2,300 feet from the town's lively promenade and the beach.

Review 6：We fell in love with Vis from this apartment. The view is absolutely stunning and the rest of the apartment was to a really high standard. Lovely decor, cool airy and comfortable with a bedroom door opening on to the balcony. It's located in Kut, a very attractive part of the Vis town with great restaurants nearby. After we arrived and settled our host (who had tried to message us offering to pick us up from the ferry) sat us down with a drink, talked us through the highlights and gave us a couple of very good recommendations. We enjoyed Vis so much that we decided to stay an extra day. Although there was unfortunately no space at Villa Kate, our host was still kind enough to drive us to another part of the island that we were keen to visit. He went out of his way to make sure we got the most out of our time on the island. Thoroughly recommend staying here.
Review 7：The apartment was huge and had a glorious view of the sea and village from the patio. The fact that it was about a 10min walk from the centre of the village is negligible and worth it for the view every morning. Zvonimir was very helpful in explaining the area, what to do, where to eat, etc and also picked us up from the ferry terminal. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Vis!

Review 9：We stayed in the largest apartment. It was spacious, well equipped & clean. And the view from the terrace is spectacular, however. What sets this place apart is the hospitality of the host. Review 10：The villa was huge- we were given a whole apartment between three of us. The host zvonimir went above and beyond for a host. Gave us drinks when we arrived and told us all about the island. He drove us to the beach and supermarket and also to Komiza- the other town. He contributed to such an amazing time. The villa itself was great. We would thoroughly recommend it!!!!

Review 23：Made to feel welcome. An easy walk into Kut -the best spot in the bay for restaurants. Owner gave very helpful advice on restaurants and he was happy to meet us from the ferry with our luggage and return us on our last day.
Review 24：The apartment was very large and comfortable with a lovely terrace overlooking Vis Harbour. The old part of Vis town is very attractive with several excellent restaurants, and Villa Kate is within easy walking distance of these. The sister of the owner met us at the ferry and was incredibly helpful and friendly during our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Kate.
Review 25：We arrived in a little storm and our host went above and beyond to help us, picking us up from the port and taking us to the supermarket in what later turned into a tropical storm. He invited us to his local bar and told us about the island and the many things it had to offer. We felt so welcomed and looked after and we hadn't expected it. The apartment was spotless and beautiful and Vis as an island was the most amazing part of Croatia we saw on our holiday. It was a very special place and one we shall return to, and hopefully stay at Villa Kate again. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Review 29：We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment, although it was just the two of us. It was large, clean, well-laid out, and bright. Our host, Zvonimir, was charming and helpful in planning our days (and our meals!) We really enjoyed the large terrace.

Review 39：We liked it all. There's no pool, and a bit of a walk to the beach, but that turned into a nice event every day. Kids should walk more, so that was just a bonus. After a few days they didn't thing it was cumbersome at all.

Review 67：The villa is a very short, but fairly steep walk from the centre of the town. It was no problem for us, but should be considered if mobility is an issue.
Review 68：Villa Kate is a beautiful house with a fantastic view over the town of Vis. Very quiet location, and within a short walk of bars, restaurants and supermarket as well as places to hire cars / scooters / bikes. Well-stocked kitchen, loads of living space with a lovely dining room and a large terrace for eating outside. We were met at the harbour and our host very kindly gave us a lift back again to catch a 7am ferry which was fantastic service.

Review 70：We had a great time in Vis thanks to Zvonimir, the owner of villa Kate. He was very friendly and helpful, he welcomed us with homemade liquor Grapa. He managed a beautiful wooden baby cot for our daughter. The place was clean, comfortable, very well equipped with the most amazing sea view ever... :) The Villa is situated about 700m above the centre of Vis town. Walking there from the centre was easy, there are many different ways you can take, some steeper, some very nice and slight, no problem for stroller, nothing hard at all.

Review 72：The manager - wonderful tips, wonderful liquor, wonderful talks. We forgot a backpack in the apartment and he was at the ferry to gave it back to us. Priceless. The view - really oustanding, even for Croatia. The apartment is beautiful and very cozy, near downtown, we walked everywhere. We are 58 and 73 years old (in good shape) and had no problems uphill/downhill. It is not too steep.
Review 73：Villa Kate is a lovely house with lovely and clean, and well maintained individual apartments with kitchens and bathrooms. Exactly everything you need while on your stay in Vis: clean, in the nicest part of Vis (old town) but still 5-7 minute walk to the main port and ferry. From all flats you have an excellent view of the bay, and the terasses allow you to chill in the sun and soak it all in. The host is just excellent and knows the island well, really worth listening to him when he greets you! The value for money is great as well. We had a fabulous time in Vis, and this apartment was a big part of it !

Review 75：This was the favourite place we stayed during our stay in Croatia. Not mentioned on the website was the owner picked us up from the ferry, gave us a lift to the supermarket on the first day and also dropped us off at the ferry at 6.30am on our last day all for free. We had a lovely terrace that overlooked the sea to the front and the lime and olive groves to the rear. Nice clean rooms, would love to go back.
Review 76：Apartment was beautifully situated with a veranda view right across the village and the bay. On arrival the owner took time to tell us all about the area...history. shops, beaches etc which was most helpful. We had taken our hire car to Vis but the apartment was perfectly situated for an evening stroll into the village and around the marina. Extremely well equipped apartment with all utensils, bedding etc required and immaculately clean. Would hope to be back to Vis and to return to Villa Kate.

Review 79：We loved the view from our balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and the bathroom had towels and soap. The owners where fantastic. They picked us up from the ferry port and drove us back which was a big help. The morning after we arrived we were shown a map of Vis and all the best places to go including the Blue Cave. Very friendly and always willing to offer help and check on how our holiday was.
Review 80：Kitchen needs more attention. Missing simple things like spatulas or fish slice for turning meat/ fish in pans. Also Oven,Washing machine and one toilet (there were two) were not working. other than that all good!

We had the appartement in the back, the (enormous) balcony still has a beautifull view over vis harbour. We only stayed for 3 nights and i wish we stayed here longer! This is an awesome place for you if your on Vis island with some form of mobility. Tip: Check out konoba tezok, it's on walking distance from this appartment and we had the best food there during our stay in Croatia.

Review 98：We traveled to Vis for only 1 night and the weather was horrendous. If you do not have a car - there is limited within walking distance (and in bad weather) for you to see. The town itself was a ghost town and we could only find 2 restaurants open (within walking distance) in the evening where we could dine. Villa Kate is on a massive hill - so if you are mobility impaired or carrying a lot of luggage - take that into consideration. Our host, while friendly - spoke limited English as we were not able to converse about rainy day weather ideas of things to do. Not a dealbreaker, but I would certainly recommend providing additional bedlinen (it was cold!) and better towels for the bathroom - (I could not even wrap the bath towel around my waist it was so small.) Mildew on the shower curtain (fairly minor - but I got the feeling that as we stayed slightly 'off season' - the unit wasn't yet spruced up.)
Review 99：The view from the top floor unit (where we stayed) was second to none. It was incredibly quiet and private. The outdoor terrace was a beautiful space. You could see the water from your bed through the balcony door window. The host arranged for our taxi both to and from the port. Kitchen was outfitted with all basic supplies and the unit itself was very spacious. The price was unreal - but perhaps because we arrived before the flood of the summer season.
