The Sea House Apartments sells fast on our site. The Sea House Apartments is located on the southern side of Vis Island, in a small village called Rukavac. A pebbly beach is 500 feet away. The house features a spacious garden with barbecue facilities and free Wi-Fi.
All apartments feature air-conditioning and a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining area. Each apartment offers a private bathroom with a shower and a furnished terrace or balcony.

Review 1：Accommodation was disappointing. Even though the facilities state wifi is available, Viktorija said it wasn't (so then it shouldn't be advertised). She told us to go to a restaurant.The bathroom was not very clean with rusty accessories and no soap whatsoever as well as limited toilet paper. It was also smelly.Kitchen facilities extremely limited. The bed was like sleeping on an ironing board and squeaked every time you moved.

Review 2：Before arrival Viktoija was very helpful in organising a hired car as well as a trip to the Blue cave at the last minute.

Review 4：Viktorija is a great host. She will give you all the détails and infos you need to spend a good time on Vis island. She knows everyone in the Island so she have a lot of tips to advise. Rukavac is a small town, very quiet, with great beaches around. The apartment was clean, well furnished, with good facilities and a large terrace.

Review 5：At times, Viktorija can be so enthusiastic about giving advice that you feel she leaves little room for making your own decisions or discoveries; the mattress on our bed was a bit hard but that is a matter of personal preference; the bathroom could be a bit better equipped (like a holder for shampoo in the shower or a towel rack). But all this are minor details... at the end it's great value for money

Review 6：Viktorija is a very dedicated host, who will provide a wealth of information about the island, its sites, restaurants, best beaches etc. The apartments are located within walking distance to two of the most beautiful beaches; the flat was spacious and comfortable

Review 7：Though the apartment we stayed in had a fantastic location (a five minute walk from stunning beaches in three different directions!) and was very comfortable, clean and contained all the facilities we needed, this is not the reason for our high review score. The high score is due to Viktorija's efforts to make our stay memorable. Her local knowledge and organizational skills are a massive asset and it's worth staying with her simply for that reason. We had an amazing time and we'll be coming back. Thanks Viktorija!

Review 8：Everything is the best. Rukavac is the most beautiful place in Croatia!!! The owner of apartments is the most hospitable person we have met!!! This is the first time when we want to spend next vacation in the same place! Thank you for everything :)

Review 9：Great location, great host, unspoiled and relaxed island, several beautiful beaches a few minutes walk from the studio, would definitely go back and recommend.

Review 10：When we arrived it was dark but all the lights of the house were on and windows and doors open. We were just told that "you might want to kill the mosqitos first" and there was nothing to kill them with. Owner was not very willing to help us in any lower budget choices for day trips that was not directly organized by her. TV did not work and wifi was not for free. We were not told that payment was cash only until 15 minutes before we were supposed to go to the ferry. Not a nice surprise, when in a hurry. Also, owner let us understand that ride to and from ferry is included but when I mentioned it to her she denied it (even though it was written in one of the emails she had sent us) Luckily she took us to the ferry anyway. Nice island but would not go to the same hotel anymore.

Review 11：Nice restaurant with friendly staff and free wifi very near and also a couple of very beautiful beaches in walking distance. Apartment is clean and new.

Review 12：Perhaps sometimes a feeling of 'too much' guidance on what to do, actually pretty expensive stuff "must do's" (there are really no "must do's" but of course you can choose to see whatever you want to see. In the end I really appreciated Victorias engagement. Car/scooter is almost a must to go around the island. Rental is possible. Room a little pricey?

Review 13：All help/guidance from Host Victoria which helped us a lot! Location near good beaches. Quit, calm. Balcony. Some sea-view. The Island itself.

Review 14：- apartments are nice, clean with really good location just 5 minutes walk from a really famous beach called Srebrna - if you are worry that Rukavac is too far from Kmoiza or Vis Town don't worry Viktorija will pick you up :) -during our stay Viktorija organised for us dinner in Golub restaurant with a free pick up, trips to : blue, green caves, Stiniva, Kumiza, boat trip to the other island, light house, as well as visit to sandy beaches. -we got a lot of suggestion where to go and where to eat -We were supposed to stay at sea house apartments only 2 nights but we ended up staying 4 because we enjoyed so much

Review 15：There are no shops in Rukavac so you have to walk to the only shop which is in the next village. It would have been made easier if the bikes were available to us, but we were told to walk instead as it's 'quicker', even after asking to use them. Viktorija gives a lengthy sales pitch on how to spend money on 'must do' excursions (some of which are in the thousands) - where we 'have to' eat, 'have to' drink and 'have to' rent a scooter/car/boat to see the whole island, etc. Most is irrelevant and could be printed in a brochure to save her time, and ours (after all we are on holiday!), and also lets you think about what you want to do and when, as it feels rather pressurising. We were also told not to use the AC and to open windows, but this lets all the Mosquitos in, eating you alive in the night. When you do have the AC on, it is on a prepaid top-up card, so it can run out at any time! Without all this, it would have been a very pleasant experience!

Review 16：Private beaches within walking distance (including nudist beaches!). Peace and quite and somewhat remote location. Clear waters and great swimming. Being an ex tour guide and hotel manager Viktorija is very knowledgeable, and is clearly very passionate about what she does, and the island of Vis, along with its varied history. She is very considerate and offered to pick us up from the ferry port and dropped us back off again, irrelevant of time of day (even at 6am!). She lets you know everything about the island as soon as she meets you, to the moment she drops you off, and will arrange anything you want to do on the island.

Review 17：The location of the apartments in Rukavac is perfect if you are most interested in the pretty beaches. However, it is a little removed from all else. Most things are only 10-20 min drive away but you do have to drive to all but beaches.

Review 18：Victorijia, the owner, is warm and incredibly helpful in planning how to best take advantage of the beautiful island of Vis. The location is within walking distance to many beautiful beaches on Vis.

Review 19：Vis is a really nice Island in the Croatian archepelago. The beaches (one of the best nearby the apratment) are realy beatutiful. Most of everything is the friendly people in Vis island and in particular Viktorija that was so helpful with everything. We got help with everything. Vis, Rukavac and in particular Viktorija exceeded our expectations.

Review 20：The photo is representative of the area, not the location of the house. The house is back quite a way from the coast, with no actual view. The rooms were okay, but a bit depressing. This place only works if you have a car, which is very expensive to take on the ferry. It is quite remote, so unless you plan to just stay on the beach, it is not the best choice.

Review 29：We are a family with three kids 5, 7 and 9 years old that stayed eight days in the Sea House apartments. Victorija, the owner of the place picked us up at the ferry in Vis. She was very helpful and nice and told us a lot of things about the island that were invaluable. The apartments are close to two very nice beaches. The children really loved being in the clear and warm water. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere in Rucavac and buying bread from the "bread car" every morning. There was a nice restaurant with good food at the pir. The island Vis have many nice beaches and nature, both Komiza and Vis are beautiful small towns. It was a good and relaxing place to have our holiday. You need a car or scooter to get around.

Review 34：Exceptional Hospitality and we would recommend everyone to stay at Sea House.From the moment my bf and I stepped off the ferry, Viktorija welcomed us with a sign in hand, hugs and big smiles. My bf and I had just booked the stay the night before at 11pm and Viktorija was able to confirm via sms that she would be ready for our arrival and that she would be able to meet us at the ferry and assist in transporting our large backpacks. What an amazing welcoming and her positive energy was just infectious. The island of Vis is small island but there is a lot to see if you are up for an adventure. Viktorija is well connected and have resources at her finger tips that I would say many people would not have. Right off the bat, we were able to rent a scooter for our stay for a discounted price. Her level of hospitality is exceptional and her attention to detail is far beyond what my bf and I have experienced in our travels around the world. At first, we were only booked our stay for two nights but we had such a great time the first day, we extended our stay an additional night. Thank you for making our stay truly one to remember.Viktorija is very knowledgeable on the history of the island and is able to tell you about some of the best hidden local sites. Some of these locales have become my bf's and my favourite experiences while traveling. She was always accessible and more than willing to assist with our many many questions. She coordinated our blue cave excursion and dinner at Pol Murvu, as there was a language barrier. She also coordinated a private night-boat cave dinner and swim experience for us and 6 others, an experience of a lifetime.The studio apartment we stayed in was exactly what you see in the photos provided. The rooms were clean, well equipped and simply beautiful. It was a mini oasis away from home with vibrant colours and a private balcony (with large umbrella for shade) for you to hang out when it is too hot to be out.

Review 35：The island Vis is an amazing place with a beautiful nature and historic buildings. The apartment absolutely met our needs with little kids. Viktorija (the hostess) was really nice and willing person. Nothing was problem for her. And the Srebrena beach (10 minutes walk) is one of the loveliest beach we have ever been.

Review 47：My friend at I stayed at this apartment for the past 2 nights. We managed to fit quite a lot in even though the weather has been quite stormy until our last day! I would recommend staying 3 or 4 nights if coming to Vis so you get the proper experience. Our hostess Viktorija was brilliant, she picked us up from the ferry and asked us how we planned to get around the island. We said we had no plans and she recommended a scooter, which I am so glad we did as it is the only way to travel around the island, it is actually a large island and otherwise you will find yourself very restricted. She gave us an hour briefing where she explained everything there was to do on the island and have some fab recommendations of things to do! The must do if you stay on this island is the trip to the blue cave which is just amazing. There was also a wonderful restaurant called 'konoba' a minute walk away next to the little port which can not be missed! The food is amazing, the staff exceptional and it is the perfect setting to even just relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day and watch the waves crash against the rocks surrounding it. The apartment was large, very clean and a good price. Thanks for all your help Vik :)

Review 48：Viktoria was an above and beyond host. She takes great care in making sure you are comfortable. We has some snafu's ( tour guide no showing) she make arrangements and we were back on track to see the expeditions we came to see. Without her, our experience would have been completely different. Her place was extremely clean and her personal touches like..a Lavender stem in her towels are an example of her thoughtfulness. Viktoria also had great recommendations for dinner as well. We can't wait to come back. There is a saying in the states "Yolo" which means "You only Live once", and if you are a "Yolo" experiencer you should put this place on your radar.
