Come and explore the untouched nature of the region from lakes to forests to mountains. The garden is lush and large, perfect if you need peace and quiet but would prefer not to stray too far from the house.
Linens and towels are changed every 3rd day. 3 rooms are situated in the attic and 1 is separate with an extra entrance.
There are several restaurants nearby where you can try regional cuisine or the ever-popular pizzerias. You also have access to a kitchen where you can cook local ingredients for your loved ones in your own time and space.

Review 1：We stayed for two nights and loved it ! Located off of the main road, Jelana's is a peaceful place to relax after a long day of walking around Lake Plitvice. Loved the little balcony that we could sit and relax on !

Review 2：The kitchen is shared and you do not feel very much in privacy

Review 3：Lovely arranged courtyard in the peaceful surroundings. Would like to be able to spend more time there. It is a good starting point to the lakes, only few kilometers.

Review 4：The description (according to the list of assets) said that the room had a balcony and "mountain view", but we got the room that does not have a balcony and the only window is so high up in the sloped roof that you can't see outside at all unless you are really tall. If you like a good view, make sure you get the other room (same price). In the overview of room categories it does not state specifically that the standard category has to share a bathroom. We booked in a hurry and were surprised when we got there because apparently we did not read the small print carefully enough. It would be nice to make sure everyone knows what they actually book.

Review 5：The location is quite beautiful. You share the bathroom with another room, which worked out okay. Would be comfy for backpackers, on the other hand rather basic for picky people. We liked it well enough but did not spend much time at the accommodation.

Review 7：We stayed at House Jelena for 4 nights to visit the plitvoce lakes area. The house is a 5 minute drive from the park and is close to resturants and a market so is ideally situated. Jelena and her family are so kind and helpful and are wonderful hosts. They are always there to offer advice and a refreshment when needed. Each morning we had a breakfast made from fresh homemade produce which was delicious. We stayed in the comfort room with ensuite which had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The room has everything you could need for a short stay and comes with use of the communal kitchen area too which of useful. Overall house Jelena is the perfect place to stay for a quiet convenient holiday to plitvice lakes and I would highly recommend it.

Review 8：Jelena was welcoming and helpful in every way. Welcome drink of homemade schnapps from their plums. We chose to pay extra for breakfast. It was a delicous full breakfast. Very clean and comfortable. Shared bath for 3 rooms, only 2 occupied when we were there. My sister and brother in law in other room.

Review 11：The internet was very hard to connect to in our room, or even from our patio. I meant to mention this to the host, in case it was a temporary issue, but kept forgetting.

Review 12：If you're looking for a relaxing, quiet guest house to use as a base for your Plitvice Lakes adventure, you will probably be happy with House Jalena. The room we stayed in had it's own, private entrance from the house and the hosts were so nice! We also enjoyed their rabbits, chickens, and trampoline!

Review 14：A wonderful guest house! Jelena and her family are excellent hosts and make every effort to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The rooms are very comfortable and clean (we stayed in Room 2 which has a balcony) as well as being well appointed. There is a convenient kitchen and very large fridge if you wish to self cater. The house is about 5km from entrance 1 and 1km from nearest restaurants and shops. We didn't have a car so Jelena and her husband let us borrow bikes for transport. We were picked up from the bus (ask to be dropped off at Čatrnja) and dropped back there to catch the 9.10 bus to Split. It is, however, only 700m away if you can be bothered to carry bags! The breakfast was delicious and enormous with fresh eggs from the garden and homemade jam. We just couldn't recommend House Jelena any more!

Jelena is a very generous hostess offering her homemade Plum brandy on arrival and all kinds of homemade treats at her continental breakfast. Her property is on a large piece of family land and is gorgeous. It is very quiet, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the whole experience is a wonderful choice. Review 31：Friendly staff, clean room and bath, access to kitchen, my kids loved it, householder showed them rabbits, chickens and turkeys and after that they played with rabbits :) really recommend the place

Review 33：True Croatian accommodation about 6 miles from Plitvice Lakes. Plitvice Lakes are fantastic and rich in nature.

Review 34：The location is perfect - offering the peace and quiet we were looking for. Also close to the Plitvicka lakes - this was the purpose of our visit to that area. The owners are very friendly and helpful with good tips for visiting different things in the area. Breakfast is good, varied selection, just ask and it is taken care off. Private terracce adjacent to the room is a big plus - makes you feel at home.
