Review 1：Lack of breakfast buffet, fresh juices tht you would expect in himachal and open seating in lawns thts shown in picture is actually not there...staff, service, and quality of food is good...quality of in room linen not in line with a multi country hotel chain

Review 2：Not in the middle of town, this hotel had a great feel. Terrific views from the rooms. The organised early morning walks were a fantastic initiative that allowed you to see the beautiful hill country and meet fellow guests.

Review 3：The name 'Royal Shimla' suggests proximity to Shimla, which is 20 km away.... which was a bit of a disappointment for us. The entrance and entertainment room look a bit off putting.

Review 4：The staff is excellent, genuinely friendly and sweet, the manager really cares about his guests, can understand people return here. Rooms on upper floors are really nice and spacious. Very nice restaurant terrace.

Review 5：The location in the invitation letter is fake. It says 200 mts from lakkar bazzar but actually it is 30 kms from lakkar bazzar

Review 7：It’s a pay-off in this mountainous area – you either have views and quiet or city….due to the narrow, winding roads, once you drive the 40 minutes out of Shimla you probably won’t return that day so you have to plan your trips out of the hotel carefully, to make sure you have enough time to do all you want in Shimla or neighboring areas before leaving. In fact, the road is not used after 10 pm so if you want to see The Mall and Shimla in the evening you have to stay in the city. It was also unfortunate that the hotel only had intermitted internet in the lobby.

Review 8：We loved the quiet and fresh air, as well as the beautiful view from our room. The staff were kind and helpful, though it seemed they were less accustomed to non-Indian guests, so we at times felt a little like an attraction other than a client. They have a nice break-out room with pool table and ping-pong, as well as a daily schedule of treks, games and activities coordinated by the hotel.
