Review 1：Well they need to renovate the property which I am told they are planning soon.

Review 2：The staff and service at the hotel is excellent and that's the USP of the place.

Review 3：No lift facility to reach hotel, you have to walk and climb about 80 to 100 stairs. Comod faucets/shower are also not installed in most bathrooms. Beds are not very comfortable. No lift inside the hotel also, people with weight, heart condition, physical conditions are advised to avoid this property. Not worth the money spend.

Review 5：This is a rather shabby hotel in need of a make-over. It has pretensions of being high class which are misplaced. The restaurant prices are high and the reputation for quality poor. In all it is overpriced and the Cecil oberoi although more expensive provides much better value for money. I would not recommend Clarke's.

Review 7：The water closet didn't have water jet in it.Also there were no taps to fill in water other than the bath tub.Toilet was but to c rampy.

Review 9：Check-in process was bad. We had to wait a lot of time before our luggage arrived at our rooms. There was no free Wi-fi, which I think is a standard thing for 4 star hotels now a days. Food was good but was too costly (almost double rates) as compared to other 4 star hotels. I would suggest to lower your rates, I would be pretty happy if I paid 40% less what I paid for the stay.

Review 10：Staff at the Clarke's Hotel was very good. Hotel had its own parking which is very good, since there are lot of issues regarding parking in Shimla.

There was not a good view of the valley from the hotel. There is construction going on in the front of the hotel, hence very noisy. Overall, I found the hotel was expensive and not a value for money.

Review 16：The Clarkes hotel is a heritage hotel, which is easily accessible from the Railway Station, walking distance from the Mall Road. Interiors of the hotel are excellent, the room interiors and facilities within the room were great.

Courteous staff who are almost 90 percent the usual Oberoi standards...Better still was that they were more Hindi than Angrezi so it was more real with zero pretentions. Pizzas off the wood oven were exceptional.
