Review 1：Room maintainance.
Review 2：Poorly maintained room. All the furniture including the ones in cafe and also front desk haven't seen a coat of paint for a long time. Would prefer not to return. To give a little credit, outdoor maintainance was excellent with lovely garden and lawns. But the rooms themselves left a lot to be desired.

Review 5：The one frustration was the wifi, which fluctuated and sometimes fell over completely. (I also found that the key to my room was very stiff and would only turn if I leant on the door in the right way, but I soon got the hang of this.)
Review 6：The staff were all absolutely lovely, charming and helpful in every way, and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The hotel itself was attractive, with a three-tiered pool, nice courtyards, etc. and the complementary breakfasts were delicious. I also rather liked the fact that the grounds were surprisingly well-supplied with wildlife - birds and butterflies skimming over the pool, geckos creaking away in the evenings, and monkeys stealthily visiting in the early morning. Location was good, just at the end of the waterfront, close to the route to the Blue Lagoon, and right next to the very nice restaurant at the Topi Inn.

Staffseems to be not very interested with guests (I don't expect too muchattention, just to follow my basic request about ordering an airportshuttle - they forgot). Surrounding is fine but the room itself was...Annoying - bed too close to main door, door broken so you had to slam itto close it, tv with no broadcast. The hotel & village itself is okfor one night, but not longer - not much to do over there. Don'texpect what you see and read about this place on Booking.com - the priceseems definitely too high once you get there

Review 15：This was by far the worst location we stayed at... The room: smelt like a sewer and is not well maintained. We found bugs under our pilow... Facilities: the compound was nice and cozy. Breakfast was poor. Staff: we had a good reception. However we also asked for suggestions for the boat to gili. They were quick to help and initialy we were happy about their service. The next day they gave us the wrong return ticket. They did sort this out when we complained. We payed for boat and shuttle service but when we came back the agency told us that they ripped us off on the latter. Instead of giving us shuttle tickets they just stamped it, so we had to pay again. We explicitly asked the staff before and they kept on saying it was ok. In my opinion: Go to an other hotel, plenty of beter options...

Review 21：Smell in the pool area(sulphuric smell), we booked a deluxe double roombut got a standard room (no terrace, no flat-screen tv, old bath). Theroom did not appear like in the pictures. It was old and badly equipped.After complaining we got a compensation (one free dinner) but that notenough. Choice of breakfast was tiny (pancakes, fruits, bread andstrawberry jam, two types of Indonesian meals). Food at breakfast wasrefilled seldom. Restaurant food was not of good quality.

Review 27：Nothing bad about the hotel at all. Only negative is that the Lombok ferry runs throughout the night and is very loud. The terminal is at the opposite end of the bay, but you can still hear the tannoy system and ship horns. The beach at Padang Bai isn't that great as there are so many boats, but Beji Bay is at the end of the bay and right next to Blue Laggon beach. It's a 5minute walk and is picture perfect.
Review 28：Lovely hotel and amazing value for money. Room was lovely. Bathroom was a little dated, but this didn't bother us. The staff were brilliant and helped us book day trips and boats to the Gili Islands. So glad we booked through them as there was a problem with the boat as it was broken so they helped us get transferred onto another fast boat, where many others were left stranded. The pool was beautifully clean and welcomed on the hot days. Breakfast was brilliant with a lot of choice and all very yummy.

Review 31：First of all, there was mould in the bathroom and you could still smell it in the room. In the first night, I got bitten by bedbugs, we found plenty of them on our mattress the next morning. After changing the room, there were no bedbugs anymore, but when taking a shower, the whole bathroom was wet. It was impossible to go to toilet without getting wet feet. The internet was not working in the room. One day, we woke up at 7am, because there was a ceremony on the cemetery next door with loud music and strond smoke. In the second room, there was no fridge or a cupboard. The rooms were only cleaned on demand.
Review 32：The staff was really friendly and helpful. After complaining, we were immediately moved to another room and given a discount as well as a free lunch. They also brought us to a doctor by motorbikeng when my boyfriend felt sick. Nice location, close to a beautiful beach.

We asked for scrambleeggs and we got a "sandwich" with the eggs with not evenbutter (dry bread). Very very poor breakfast. The beach close by itsvery dirty. In the room not even antena cable on the tv. The towels waschanged just after we asked for (and it was dirty). Half of the mirrorwas stained and we couldn't even see ourselves. We have to ask forwater in the fridge because they didn't restocked. Internet is verypoor, maybe because all the staff spent the whole day on the net (asthey were always with their mobiles in hand). They charged more fortickets to Gili then the agencies around. I don't know how it'sclassified as Resort.

Review 44：Padangbai is a beautiful little place to visit, Lovely warm water to swim or relax as you watch the boats come and go to Lombok, or just the local fishing boats,but not noisy at all. Very friendly staff at Beji Bay,,superb swimming pool, comfy bed, clean room and shower. Great value for money, certainly will return.Love it so much so am going back in June.

Room's have been recently remodeled and are quite nice, they feel very large but quite empty. Very little storage spaces and no safe.

Review 60：Beji ray is a very good choice in padang bay. Rooms are clean and with nice styling. In reception you can rent a motorbike, buy tickets to boat at gilli ant shuttle bus for example to kuta.

Review 74：This hotel was nice but it could be so much better. All the staff seemed to be extremely young and there didn't seem to be anyone supervising them. Wifi only worked in the reception area. No door on the bathroom. Bathroom was large but really basic and looked like the builders hadn't finished it off properly. Breakfast wasn't great. On the day we checked out the cleaners came in and started cleaning before we'd left (therefore would have had to clean again) - another example of poor management. This could be a really nice hotel with better management and more attention to detail.

Review 91：I stayed with a group of three friends at the Beji Bay overnight in early November. The hotel overall was a delight and the kind of boutique Indonesian hotel we were after for our first night in Bali. The staff at the Beji Bay were welcoming and the rooms were very clean. The grounds of the hotel might be considered a bit messy, but we thought that just added to the charm of the place. The pool facilities were also clean and well kept. The breakfast was fairly standard but definitely provided enough food with a number of options. The hotel is very close (less than 500m) to the dock where the fast boat takes off for the Gilly Islands/Lombok which we found very ideal for our departure the following day.

The staff couldn't recommend us activities in padangbai and there was a lot of miscommunication that could have led us to miss our boat.
