Review 1：We went the second week in Sept and they had closed the pool and despite pointing out we were excellent swimmers and didn't need security they refused to let us use it. The concierge was very surly .
Review 2：Nice Appartement good location
Review 3：Apartment (66) was very humid/damp. Smelled of mould due to bad/no ventilation. Sofa, lap robes/rugs, wardrobes, wooden cutting board and even pictures on the walls were mouldy. We came in late and there was no gas left so kitchen stove could not be used. No electric water boiler was available. Water heater was small and switched off when we arrived so we had no hot water the first day. Both these things were a problem when travelling with a baby and nothing could be fixed before the next day since the hotel does not have a 24 hour reception. No air condition in the apartment. A problem since doors towards terrace had to be opened to get fresh (but hot) air into the apartment. No wifi. No toiletpaper, soap, shampoo or cleaning sprays or equipment in the apartment. This you have to buy/bring yourself. Bed linnen and towels must be brought or you pay for bad quality linnen and towels at the renting agency (Radar). General cleaning very bad. No sea view from our apartment (no 66) and I guess only a few apartments have that. Bathroom and shower was very small and shower head did not work properly. Staff, though friendly, speaks very bad English.
Review 4：Ok location in small and quiet (at least when gardners did'nt work)park with nice pool area. Near beaches, restaurants, shops and town center. Nice sea view from garden terraces facing the sea. Free parking on hotel grounds was very convenient. Spacious apartment and big terrace. Apartment equipped with washing machine (laundry). Nice starting point for excursions around Toscany with car. For travelling around Toscany, a car is advantageous since many of the smaller towns are'nt easily accessible by train or bus.
Review 5：Time use of the swimming pool is very limited.Quiet time is between 14 -16 hours. During the rest can not even sit around the pool either. Although light is till 21 hours in summer, the pool area will be closed as early as 18 hours, and even tried a regulation is to be available till 17:30.
Review 6：The apartment is very comfortable and the facilities. The garden and the swimming pool is nice, clean and maintained.The environment is quiet and safe.The street noise does not interfere with bird song.The photos and descriptions are true.
Review 7：The pool water was extremely salty and caused pain in ears and eyes – two family members got serious ear problems. There's no wifi, which was a bit tough. The linen package was bad quality. The sheets were like paper, towels had old stains.
Review 8：No frills, but spacious apartment that contained everything we needed, and to a very good price. 5 stars garden, huge swimming pool with lifeguard, quiet and lovely neighborhood. Direct access to one of Castiglioncello's wonderful beach areas.
Review 9：No wifi - and I had work to do ! It was cold - no heating Had to payextra for linen (€ 30!) There was a not a single piece of toilet paperwhen we arrived late. Kitchen ok, but no salt, oil, or other normalkitchen ingredients. General feeling: unwelcoming, cold, greedy.
