Bungalows Korana offers 35 hectares of spacious campsite situated 5 miles north of UNESCO’s World Heritage site, Plitvice Lakes National Park. The campsite offers a buffet and an à la carte restaurant with a summer terrace, a bar and a shop. Free Wi-Fi and parking is provided.
The units are located in picturesque wooden bungalows furnished with two beds, a table and chairs. A shared bathroom with showers and washing machines is at the guests' disposal.
An outside grill restaurant offers guests a variety of barbecue dishes. A free local bus line can be found on site, leading to and from the National Park once a day.
The campsite stretches over the plateau overlooking the Korana River. It is an ideal place for walking with a promenade leading above the river canyon to Drežnik Old Town, jogging and cycling with numerous interesting spots to visit in its surroundings. There is a free shuttle bus that takes the guests to Plitvice Lakes.

Review 1：It was an AUTO-camp, yet was not advertised as such, so it's extremely inconvenient if on foot, as we were. They also advertised it being 2 km from the Plitvice lake falls, yet it was much farther. As a result, we had to take a bus to the falls. We would've liked to have walked but it was much too far. We rented a "cabin" which was extremely sparse yet very very clean. It was like being in a cell. I expected much more of a "woodsy" environment, unfortunately.
Review 2：It was in the country. If you have a vehicle, then it is a great place with golf-course-like grounds and very clean facilities, complete with restaurant and cafe. If you like that kind of "camping", then you are in heaven. Great for RV's and people with camper vans etc.
Review 3：We loved our stay at Camp Korana, while the cabin was very basic it was everything we needed. The little table we had outside was really nice as it gave us a little extra space. The shower block was clean and the breakfast was fine. We would definitely stay again
Review 4：Having to lock both the door and shutter door to keep them closed became a bit of a nuisance during the middle of the night and you had to go out to the bathroom, it was noisy and you end up having to lock the other person in because you had to take the key with you.

Review 9：Great place to stay if your in a motor home. We were back packing- was difficult to arrange transport to, no kitchen facilities and the shuttle service to the park was not very frequent. Very basic huts, seperate toilet blocks that were clean and had laundry service.
Review 10：The cabin we were booked into was extremely small/basic and without a toilet. However, the staff were great in transferring our booking to a nearby hotel owned by the same company.

Review 18：Needs an earlier bus than at 9am to visit the lakes - I walked from the campsite (leaving at 7:45am) to beat the crowds but it took just over an hour.

Review 32：Perfect breakfast if you stay in bungalow. I really love breakfast. They provides cheese, ham, bread, yogurt, coffee, chocolate, a lot kinds of tea, bottle of yogurt and fruit!! Nice campsite! There also have mini market you can buy meat or snack there, coffee bar and restaurant.
Review 33：We liked the bungalows at Campsite Korona. They offered enough space, had comfortable beds and a little table with two chairs which we used to sit outside in the evening. The washrooms were close by and clean. The breakfast was reasonable for the price. We liked the free transport in the morning to the Nationalpark.

Review 47：There isn't anything to do when you return from the national park. Some people swim in a nearby river but it was pretty green and murky. Shop and bar and info centre are closed between 11-5pm. However the "grill area" where you can get chips and a burger or a beer is open from 3. Dinner in the restaurant wasn't good we only ate there one night. The next we drove to the nearest pizza restaurant which was fantastic value! Much much better than the campsites restaurant.
Review 48：It seemed as if the bathrooms were being contantly cleaned and they were in excellent condition for a campsite. Breakfast had a great variety :-) Beds were very comfortable but offer no back support if you need it! But really squishy ;-) Bungalows were exactly as described ... A little shed with two beds nothing more and nothing less.

Breakfast was included and you couldn't ask for anything better than what they offered. Bungalows were cozy and clean. Single bungalow can sleep 2--- which was not clear when we booked (thought we needed to book two bungalows for two people but there are two beds in each).
Review 59：Wifi was slow and didn't have an address which I could put in my gps. Also a FYI. Plitvice is never a walk away! But that's also the beauty; all local accommodations. From campsite Korana it's app 6 km.

Review 63：in one of the rooms we had booked (Bungalow 29), the electricity went off every day. it became tedious to have to keep reporting it and then having to wait for the maintenance guy to come to sort it out. he was lovely and sorted it out each time, but it was still a pain. it appeared that there was only the one shower/toilet block which got quite crowded at the usual busy times - only 4 or 5 shower cubicles so sometimes there was a bit of a wait.

Breakfast was included in the price, and offered a decent selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and cooked meats. The room was cleaned daily, and the shower facilities were never overly busy, which was great.

Two days was plenty of time to explore all of the main routes in the park itself. The bungalows were an ideal size and perfectly comfortable set in lovely countryside surroundings. The toilet and washing facilitates were modern and always very clean. The restaurant was perfectly acceptable, not bad value and convenient being on site. The market on site also supplied all the basics and more. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the park as good value and well located.

We had to go to the restaurant that was expensive if you are on a budget (and usually if you choose to stay in a camping it is because you are on a budget...). There is a market on the site that can be useful...the internet connexion was not very good...if you go next to the entrance the connexion works faster.
Review 77：Nice breakfast in the morning. Everything is very clean, well kept and the bungalows are comfortable. I would recommand this place for sure to anyone. The bathrooms are veryyy clean (more than most of the accomodations i have stayed at in europe...). There is a shuttle bus everyday at 9 am and 5 pm to get you to plitvice lakes so dont worry if you dont have a car. Do not hesitate to book there!

Review 79：Far enough out of the city to be quiet and yet with the tram stop 2 streets away it was only 15 minutes to get into the heart of Zagreb. The owner gave very clear instructions on how to get from the airport to the apartment which was so easy, so don't waste your money on a taxi.

Review 86：I would highly recommend this! Myself and a friend stayed in one of the bungalows and it was the perfect base camp to explore the Plitvice lakes. The staff were so friendly and tried their best to make our stay enjoyable, particularly the ladies at reception! The bus brings you directly to the lakes at 9am and returns at 5pm so we had plently of time to explore the national park. It was exactly what we were looking for in accommodation here and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the campsite to all my friends and family!

The cleaning facilities were always well maintained, with a large showering room which was spacious and hot. The shuttle bus to Plitvice Lake was always on time (9am). And picked us up at 5pm. There was also a bar, a mini market and a restaurant opened till 11pm. There was also a cash point which was really convenient. Overall, great place to stay.

If you want a comfy room to relax in with bathroom next door then pay more and stay in a hotel!! Free transfers to plitvice but limited: 9am out and 5pm back. We walked back which was good exercise! Can recommend a restaurant 10 minute walk, left out of campsite. Staff v friendly, reasonable prices and tasty food. Get there early eg 7pm for a table inside. V chilly out! Bit of a cold wait for 6.45am coach to zagreb from busstop right out of campsite and 2 mins up road. Didnt show up til 7.15!

Which isn't too bad if it's just 1-2 nights since there is food, a little supermarket, etc. Also, catching a bus to Zagreb was not super convenient. We just had to stand on the side of the road and wait... the scheduled bus either never came or came 2 hours late. Either way we were just waiting on the side of the road for 2 hours for any bus to come by.

But then again, people were mostly using caravans or staying in tents... Still, would be a nice addition. Location: well there is a bus to the lakes at 9 am and one that brings you back at 5. But if you're travelling alone you really don't need that many hours to see the entire park. The problem is that it's nearly impossible to come back any other way, so it was a 6km walk back to the campsite. The bungalow walls had a line of tiles near the floor, and some were coming out of the wall while others were simply missing. they simply tried to cover it up with the beds, but since i moved them... yeah, otherwise i wouldn't even notice. I would prefer for them just to take them out and paint it like the rest of the wall... Some spider webs between the tiles and the wall... Still this is like searching for flaws in a way too perfect picture, didn't really mind it!
Review 136：If you like camping it's a great place, very green, the market and the cafe are relatively price friendly and the bathrooms/showers are very pleasing. Didn't try the restaurant though. I rented a single bungalow but it had two beds, so i just joined them like a king-sized bed. luxury! Breakfast was really good. Eggs, cereals, bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, coffee, fruit, jam, butter, and tons of other stuff. You won't be starving for sure!
