Review 1：Only 1 heater in a relatively big area and was quite cold around the beds.
Review 2：Nice roomy house and well maintained. Pretty easy to find and very near to Route 1. Supermarket, petrol station and restaurants are around the corner. It's huge enough for a family of four despite there are only 2 of us.
Review 3：The only thing is that this apartment is in the basement, but that's alright for a quick one night stay.

Review 7：We arrived on time and no one was there. After 45 minutes, we drove into town and called our host who was on her way home from work. She did give us a 5 Euro reduction on our bill for the inconvenience (she offered, I did not ask). She was very gracious and apologetic. There is no TV, even though it is advertised and wifi was fine. Nothing special, but comfortable. This apt is a converted garage off the main house.

Review 10：Very comfortable basement two bedroom apartment. Although located in an ordinary house in a residential area, this apartment was very pleasant and well appointed. Spacious, clean, warm and offering all that is needed for an overnight stay or a longer holiday.
Review 11：We stayed in the double room. The bed was very confortable. The house is very clean, the living room is nice, the kitchen has everything we needed. The bathroom has a nice bath and a big shower. Good wifi. The host is very friendly.

Review 15：Third trip to Iceland. We're pretty aware that accommodation in Iceland is not generally good value for money. Even taking the price out of the equation, I still wouldn't recommend this guesthouse, at least the 'apartment' we stayed in. The 'apartment' was a converted garage that smelled strongly of paint (even after we'd left windows open to air it out a bit), with uncomfortable beds (thin mattress and metal frames that you could feel), and was either too cold or too stuffy. There was something wrong with the front door lock, so we were told we could only leave through the back door, if we wanted to be able to lock it behind us. There must be better options in Egilsstadir.
