Reviews for Agriturismo Alagna
Review 1:The coffee at breakfast was worse than terrible - why not use filter coffee, there is no excuse for Nescafé in Italy of all places!!!!! Also we could not access the Internet - unable to join network. It was late at night when we realised this so it was a bit of a pain as we needed to work and couldn't really ask for help.
Review 2:Super friendly staff, we really appreciated the late check-in, and the location was stunning above Alagna (need car tho as it's quite high up - but worth it for the view)
Review 3:Noise from other guests Warning. If you don't have a car the road up to the farm is not for anyone but the very fit.
Review 4:Owners and Staff Stunning location.
Review 5:Walls are rather thin, which makes sound easy to travel from room to room
Review 6:Level of service was EXCELLENT! Breakfast with their own produce was great too.
Review 7:You need winter tires or snow chains to reach this destination during winter - don't try without
Review 8:A very friendly place with great value. Comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast, great views over the Alps surrounding Alagna
Review 9:Walls are very thin, which is a problem when the place is fully booked. Talking neighbours kept us awake.
Review 10:Beautiful and quiet location Good breakfast with allmost all homemade products Comfortable, large room with two floors Friendly people
Review 11:We arrived there late in the evening by bike. The hotel is not close to the centre town but in the Frazione Rusa, little area outside Alagna. The way to reach there is hard because totally arising. So, not good if you arrive by bike or public transport. No problem if you travel by car.
Review 12:The accomodation is very good, also the breakfast, all based on their own fresh products. The view from the Odessa room is simply stunning!!! A particular thanks to the staff, Mrs Pierre, who kindly offered us her car to go downtown.
Review 13:Actually, everything was as we expected it to be and we can't say anything negative about this Agriturismo. It was very quit beause we were there in the low season, so we don't have any experience in the high season.
Review 14:We had 2 very relaxing night in this agriturismo. The views from the farm are spectaculair. You wake up with fresh mountain air and all the food they serve is homemade and locally. We highly recommend to stay here!
Review 15:As a walker, the location of this hotel made me cry - I was exhausted already when I got to Alagna and the horrific hike up the hill to this place was the last straw. The place was deserted for one hour. The lady was sweet when I finally met her. Yet again booking.com booked me a double room so I had to pay for a double room despite being a single person and booking through booking.com as a single person. NOT happy about this.
Review 16:No evening meal provided and it's a long trek out of town uphill if you're walking. Would not have picked this place if I knew the route up by foot was that steep!
Review 17:Lovely old fashioned cow sheds, very cozy to sleep. Even had a bath which was amazing after 9 hours hard walking! Breakfast was delicious too.
Review 18:Low wooden beam in bedroom.
Review 19:This really was a rural get-away. The peace and tranquillity unbeatable. Breakfast was excellent - the variety of farm -produced local food was truly superb. Perfect place to experience mountain farming.
Review 20:WiFi was poor.
Review 21:Location is nice if you have a car and are staying longer.
Review 22:Very pretty and quiet away from town, up quite a hill, but we were offered a ride to and from town. Breakfast was great.
Review 23:A little fresh fruit fruit for breakfast would be nice. And the choice was a little limited
Review 24:The location and ambience were exactly as imagined - fab.
Review 25:Unfortunately the wifi did not work
Review 26:The charming setting
Review 27:Walls are a bit thin. First night there were noisy kids downstairs. They did quiet down by a reasonable time.
Review 28:Super friendly couple running the place. Small dairy farm below.
Review 29:The owners were incredible nice! Due to the snow falls, we couldn't reach their place with my car. They came and collect us many times from the village. The property is so beautiful in the middle of the nature, but at the same time so close to the village. I would very much reccomend it! Ciao
Review 30:A warm and welcoming, very new true Agriturismo with a working farm. Our room was very spacy with the bed on a mezzanine floor, it felt more like an apartment than just a room. Pier and her family are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, almost everything home-made: yoghurt, every day a different cake, bread, cheese, various jams, fruit and eggs. The location, about 200m in height above the main village, takes a little getting used to, but we walked back by foot in the evening which after all only took about 20minutes, rather than taking the car. Walking boots might be useful if it is very snowy as it was when we were there. It is an oasis of peace!
Review 31:Like being together with Mother Nature. A friendly and warm house in the mountains, separated from the village but having a good access to it. It is run by a family, who treat the guests as friend, they are kind and helpful.
