King Ludwigs Cottage sells fast on our site. Set on a peaceful 20-acre property, King Ludwigs Cottage offers relaxing open-plan accommodation with a 2-person spa bath and a warming fireplace. It is only 2 minutes’ drive from the charming town of Maleny and 7 minutes’ drive from King Ludwigs German Restaurant.
The spacious cottage features a large terrace with beautiful garden views, a BBQ and a kitchen with a stove and a microwave. It includes a flat-screen TV and a DVD player in the living room. The fully stocked pantry offers breakfast provisions, German beers, fresh-baked bread and a cheese platter.
The property hosts special event celebrations for festivals including Oktoberfest and Christmas in July.
King Ludwigs Cottage is 20 minutes’ drive from Glass House Mountains and the Sunshine Coast is 35 minutes’ drive away. Brisbane is a 1-hour drive away.

Review 1：This place is a hidden gem! It is so private and the cabin is spectacular - everything you could possibly want for a few quiet days away including a well stocked fridge and pantry. Irene is delightful and made us feel like old friends visiting.
Review 2：It was a little bit noisy during the night. This was just the sounds of nature, which couldn't be helped but next time I would bring some ear plugs!

Review 12：Surrounded by no-one - no other buildings visible, just nature at hand. Fantastic, relaxing, peaceful, the perfect way to shake off some of that city living. Cabin comes with no mobile signal if you're on Optus (yay!), a wood fire, and huge spa.

You have made us feel so welcomed and cared for from the moment we got here until we left. For a surprise wedding anniversary getaway I couldn't of asked for a cosier, more romantic place to stay. There is nothing nicer than to wake up to the birds and trees in the morning. Coming from the city it was so calming to have a quiet and relaxing sleep. You really have thought of everything in this cabin. I loved using the spa bath and the body shop bath toiletries. It was so romantic, a little price of paradise. I'm sad we have to leave but thanks so much for everything. Until next year!!!
Review 37：This was a five-star experience from the moment we booked. Our hosts called us prior to arrival to check our food and drink preferences to ensure the beautiful cheese plate and wines they had waiting for our arrival were suitable. They also offered early check-in and late check-out, which was much appreciated as we wanted to make the most of the idyllic, private cottage. Inside the cabin, the fit-out and attention-to-detail was exceptional. No detail was missed - from fluffy bathrobes to luscious toiletries and candles throughout the cabin.The view and tranquil location were as good as we would expect at any 5-star lodge. Most importantly, the service and hospitality was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend and will be going back again!
