Reviews for Amigo Hotel On The Beach

Review 1:basic dark rooms with no balcony and rudimentary bathroom; scarce toiletries;

Review 2:hotel location, close to the sea promenade and the beach; owner was kind and helpful; breakfast, although continental, was above expectation; free wifi and public parking; clean rooms; smoking place outside in the patio;

Review 3:The location of the hotel is the best, 2 min walk to the public beaches. The owner of the hotel is a lovely lady ready to help and give useful advices.

Review 4:Breakfast not included out of season. Be clear when booking whether breakfast is included or not.

Review 5:Great location close to seafront and near to beach with life guard and changing rooms. short walk to lively part of promenade with wonderful communal folk dancing on Saturday nights. Room with own fridge and use of kitchen with tea and coffee making facility. Friendly and helpful staff.

Review 6:General purpose room with great look at the sea. Easygoing staff. Make your own coffee, lunch or what you like. Clean. Good bed and shower. I walkend barefoot to the swimming area on the boulevard.

Review 7:Even the hotel is very close to the sea, you cannot enter the sea there because of the rocks, you have to walk about 10 minutes to the beach.

Review 8:We were 2 families with five small children in the 3 bedroom apartment. We stayed there 5 days. It was perfect for us.

Review 9:The bathroom was a wet room which meant the floor got soaked with each shower but a floor squeegee was provided and that was really helpful. I thought the kitchen in the apartment would be better equipped - paper cups provided for hot drinks. There was a communal kitchen but we didn't use it as only stayed 1 night.

Review 10:This apartment was pretty much right on the beach. We walked down the promenade for a swim in the evening and it was lovely. It was also within about 15 mins walking distance of the main shopping area. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

Review 11:Best place to be in Nahariyya. We stayed for 12 nights, and we could have stayed longer and enjoyed it. Eli Ben Harush, owner and proprietor was very helpful and amiable and so his was his wife Lena. Can't complain about them. So generous with their time. Even calling for a taxi was no chore for them. Amigo on the Beach, value for money!

Review 12:This little hotel is a gem. It is located 70 yards from the sea front. The owners were so obliging and could not do enough to help in any way. The bedroom was great comfortable and the air on perfect. The kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with everything one would require. For those that wish to make their own breakfast or for that matter dinner could do no better.Thank you Les Amigo for a great stay.

Review 13:The owner and location made my stay at this hotel. Eli the owner was extremely helpful whether it was calling me a taxi, asking me if my room was alright and if I needed anything to giving me directions. And as for the location, 20m from the beach which made a great walk before breakfast!

Review 14:Was given a basement room because of not specifying two twin beds upon booking. Also the apparent "free wifi" was very slow and at times non-existant.

Review 15:Staff were very friendly! Very helpful, informative and kind.

Review 16:The name. Should sound like beachfront or paradise on the water or...

Review 17:Great location. Lovely hosts. Free parking. Use of kitchen. Clean good size rooms. We stayed extra night because place is great.

Review 18:The owner is really very kind and helpful. He helped us to find medicine for my baby, during Pessah holiday (which was very complicated because all pharmacies were closed). The rooms are clean and the localisation is very good (next to the sea). Also, it is possible to use the kitchen, which is very convenient when travelling with children. I really recommend this place

Review 19:We were looking forward to a peaceful, quiet, and enjoyable beachvacation at the Amigo Hotel. Amigo in Spanish means “friend”.Breakfast was included in the price of the hotel. We told the manager Eli Ben Harush we are allergic to spicy foods. He served us pickled carrots for breakfast. When my wife reminded him, we can’t eat hot foods, he told my wife, “Your husband can eat it”. So we stopped paying for breakfasts. Anyway, the breakfasts were too small for two full sized adults. Our hotel room was so small we kept bumping into furnishings. Eli greeted me with, “Hello sir” but did not greet my wife at all. I pay for our hotel stays but my wife chooses the hotels we go to. The hotel maid, named Elana, disturbed our serenity as well by making fun of my wife’s Hebrew. And all she did was change the towels. She did not clean the toilet, sink, or shower, or take out the garbage, wash the floors, or replenish the toilet paper. The floors were so unclean they kept making our feet dirty even after we took showers. Every day that we stayed at this hotel we had to take out our own garbage as well. When my wife requested that Elana refresh the sheets she said, “No” without any explanation. Afterwards, Eli told us that Elana told him we refused to let her clean our hotel room. Why woulda, shoulda, coulda any hotel guest tell a maid not to clean their hotel room?! He insisted that we leave the hotel room so that she can clean it. We did so. The last night we were there Elana came to clean. Once again, she did not clean the toilet, sink, or shower, or take out the garbage, wash the floors, or replenish the toilet paper. All she did was bring fresh towels and she left the old towels on our hotel room floor. The Amigo Hotel proved to be unfriendly at best and hostile at worst towards us.

Review 20:As far as location goes, it was the only thing we liked about the AmigoHotel. The beach is literally within a few steps from the hotel. Itspristine sea of green, blue, and even purple colored waters and softlyblowing clean air breezes make you feel at peace with the whole world. And the sea’s shore makes you believe you are made of royalty when youdiscover that it has long peers you can walk out onto to take in thebreathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea and walk ways that lead to agem of a neighborhood full of huge well kept houses, aesthetic sidewalks lined with trees, and artistic brick work for you to step through.

Review 21:It would be nice to have a chair and table in the room, even a small one so you didn't have to sit on the bed and you could eat in there. There needs to be a small bed-side light so you could relax in bed without having the big light on and could read with a smaller light.

Review 22:The room was adequate but small. It was clean and had the advantage of Kitchen facilities on the first floor. It was good to have the heating/Air unit. I did not get the password and unit name to use the wi-fi . Maybe given at the reception would be a good idea.

Review 23:Very good location only 100m to the beach. Nice beach. Supermarket 5min on foot. Several restaurants 10min on foot. Quiet place. Clean. Very useful kitchen for self cooking. Very polite owner. To Haifa 25min by car. To Acco 15min by car. To Tiberias 1h by car.

Review 24:Breakfast is too small for what we paid, no toasters, no orange or grapefruit juice. Bathroom/restroom were too small, sink of the bathroom is too small; not always shampoo and liquid soap only. Lack of price transparency and fairness. Clients are not kings for this owner.

Review 25:Flawless rooms: clean towels, clean sheets, comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood in front of the sea within feet away, some rooms have sea view, enjoyable air conditioning, WIFI, table and two chairs.

Review 26:Nothing

Review 27:Good location, quiet, clean, next to the beach. Owner is very helpful and smart. We really enjoyed and wanted to stay longer. Good place for excursions. Thanks a lot. We will come again.

Review 28:The Amigo Hotel is just on the seaside, in a quiet position, near everything you could need. You will have a common room with kitchen, fridge and anything necessary for you to have a long and family-like staying. And the staff is always more than friendly and helpful. if you wanna spend a relaxing time, with no stress, and enjot the sea, this is the right place.

Review 29:Friendly reception.

Review 30:That I only spent one night.

Review 31:The location was just a short walk to the beach. The manager was friendly and welcoming.

Review 32:Cigarettes smoke in the building. No elevator

Review 33:Perfect location, clean room

Review 34:Naharia itself was not so exciting.

Review 35:Great value for money. The place was clean and the manager was very friendly and accommodating.

Review 36:Very accommodating staff, a minute's walk from the beach, ten minute's walk from the town.

Review 37:the wi-fi didn't work at the room

Review 38:very nice hotel in agood location with a very helpfull stuff

Review 39:It was across the street from the promenade on the sea.

Review 40:I had a bedside light so I could read in bed. Every thing was clean and accessible to the kitchen.

Review 41:Eli was a very kind person that help us and worried trying that everything be OK, Just in front of the sea !!

Review 42:small room, view on the see limited

Review 43:very helpful staff well equipped kitchen outside citylocalization

Review 44:The location was great and the staff were friendly.
