Villa Barbara sells fast on our site. Located right by River Krka and the yacht marine in Skradin, Villa Barbara offers air-conditioned apartments with balcony, LCD satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The property includes a green garden with a terrace.

Review 1：We planned to take the last bus out of Skradin to head back to Split. Thank God Barbara asked us if we made a reservation. We told her no, we didn't know we had to and she immediately failed the bus company. Then she got the cellphone to the driver who said that they do not have time to come to Skradin but if they drove is to the highway they would take the exit and pick us up!!! After dinner we quickly jumped in the car and Barbara and her awesome husband rushed us off to the tollbooth on the highway do we could make to Split that evening. They Saved the Day!!! So grateful for them going above and beyond . Can't wait to go back and see them

Review 2：The minute you walk up to the place you can feel the owners care about you having a unique experience. I love the garden and attention to detail. Then I met Barbara and her warm welcome made you feel you were home.

Review 5：The unit was one of two with a shared terrace and "view" of the Marina. You cannot see the Marina if you are sitting down on the terrace! We didn't care but good to know if that is what you want. Better views from upper floors.

Review 6：Good size space, newly refurbished and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and so kind. The restaurant owned by Villa Barbara is close by and amazing!

Review 7：A minor issue - there was a reflux smell from the septic system (I'm guessing) when we arrived, however this dissipated while we were there.

Review 8：Skradin is a beautiful little village, and Villa Barbara is perfectly located right on the edge of the village near the marina area. Our room (One-Bedroom Apartment with Marina View) was nice and we enjoyed making breakfast and dinner for ourselves and dining on the patio each day. Marinka is a perfect host; she even did a load of washing for us the day we arrived. We didn't try the massage, however we booked the hot tub one evening (it was right next to our room), which was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights there and would definitely recommend this apartment.

Review 9：The Wi-Fi was very unreliable which made it difficult to deal with our travel plans, etc.

Review 13：Great location. Very spacious apartment with lovely terrace area. The staff were so welcoming. We ate at their restaurant every evening as the food was excellent and we were made so welcome. Also could have a massage on site if desired.

Review 14：We loved Skradin as it was a great base for the Krka national park and has lovely restaurants. The accommodation was very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Good value, lovely view.

Review 15：We booked a 1 bedroom apartment with balcony for two nights, and with a friendly greeting on arrival from Mladenka, were shown to the Maslina (= “Olive”) apartment. Immaculately clean and tidy, the wifi worked reasonably, and the aircon efficiently chilled the apartment. We noticed the music outside from the almost deserted “restaurant and lounge bar” next to the property when we returned to the apartment on our first night, but couldn’t hear it once inside. Eclectically decorated and compact (the last 7 photos on Booking.com; since you probably won’t visit Skradin to sit indoors much this is no problem), the most important things were that the bed was comfortable and the shower was very nice. Considering that many guests only stay for one or two nights to visit the Krka NP, and that this creates a significantly increased workload, the high standards maintained are well worth the price for this lovely location. Hot tub and massage also available at additional cost.

Review 16：nice facilities. We also had dinner at the owners family restaurant. That was nice and food excellent. We were offered a free breakfast in the morning which was not included, nice touch!

Review 17：A cramped apartment. Kitchen had a full cooker and dishwasher but impossible to use them as the utensils weren't available. Most of the worktop was taken up by a 20 cup coffee machine. Would be nice if the shower drain was cleaned so the bathroom floor didn't flood. Beds for 5 but the apartment isn't that big.

Review 18：Wonderful location. Skradin is a small friendly town with good restaurants and local shops. Villa Barbara looks over the small harbour. Comfortable main bed and sofa bed suitable for two. Wifi was usable but dropped out. The shower was superb, good pressure, plenty of hot water. The apartment is great, but let down by small details which are easy to remedy. Free parking outside, both above and below the apartment. They run a massage business on site, very good value. There is a linked restaurant, very friendly and a discount given to guests. A nest of swifts was in the balcony, getting ready to fly. Wonderful to watch. The balcony has two chairs and a table and sitting there quietly didn't bother the birds. We were in one bed apartment with balcony, similar to the photos but a little smaller I think.

Review 19：Villa Barbara is an incredible hotel! We received a very warm welcome and LOVED our apartment. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer! The shower was so luxurious and we could have cooked many meals there had we not chosen to enjoy Restaurant Scala with the hotel's discount.

Review 23：We were based in Dubrovnik , we saw krka national park and had to visit , villa Barbera offers clean comfortable accommodation , private terrace & use of hot tub , kids loved it aged 7 & 4 , kitchen has all you could want , nearby supermarkets within 3 min walk , scala restaurant 4min was lovely good food beautiful garden terrace so peaceful & excellent value for money , definitely stay there again , many thanks to Malinka apologies if I have spelt your name wrong bit greeted us with a smile & helped us with our washing very helpful.

Review 24：This was an amazing remodeled apartment on the Marina in Skradin. Wonderfully appointed, great rainfall shower, complete modern kitchen. Literally the perfect getaway place. The owners were so helpful, even when we arrived after 11pm our first night.

Review 26：Felt like it was brand new! I think this was recently updated and it has a modern style. Great location but it was a little hard to find using our outdated GPS. The owner was very friendly and connected us with a great tour guide to tour the park.

Review 27：Unfortunately there was a party of some sort going on until the wee hours and I was sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. Needless to say, I didn't go to sleep until the partygoers went in for the night. 1:45am to be exact. No fault of the property.

Review 28：There wasn't anything I didn't like about this property. We were happily greeted by our host who helped us park and bring our luggage upstairs to our Terrace View Apartment. It is modern, clean and has lots of amenities. The shower was to die for!!!! As property guests we received 10% off our dinner at the Family Restaurant Scala. It was a very delicious meal and the staff were kind and made our time their enjoyable.

Felt it was quite expensive relative to other places we stayed Sofa bed not very comfortable to watch tv, seating on balcony not very practical.

Review 41：Beautiful, very individually decorated apartment. So pleased that even though we were only staying for one night we were allocated the apartment with the swan decor as requested. Very nice view over the river from the balcony. Modern kitchen with good facilities. The owner Igor was friendly. A bottle of aperitif was left on the table for us to try. Very close to the town, harbour and restaurants.

Review 70：The person sent to deal with us spoke no English despite this being advertised as English speaking. Only seemed interested in promoting their restaurant. There was a lot of noise from the apartment above, children could not sleep. The room is advertised as being suitable for four adults but the living room is tiny, and with the sofa bed pulled out there is little room to move. Garden terraces are supposedly shared but grabbed by the ground floor apartment occupants. Balcony is tiny and only two seats. Hot water ran out quickly. No coat hangers in the wardrobes and only two towels provided for a family of four. Barely three star accommodation but advertised as four stars. Weird decor. Very poor value.

Review 72：Really only the value. This is a constant issue in Croatia. A perfectly good but very basic dinner for over 120 euro for two! The apartment also which was perfectly adequate and comfortable enough but again pretty basic was 100 euro. Having travelled through Italy, we could have stayed in luxury and eaten gourmet food for 220 euro.

Review 73：Very nice welcome from owner Igor. Good position in harbour, decent balcony. Clean apartment, good wifi, off street parking. Early season but restaurant opened especially for us as only people staying.

Review 74：We absolutely loved this place, the room was amazing and the owner was so gracious. She even did our laundry! Skradin is a relaxed, quiet, fun town. Great day all around.

Review 82：The hosts were absolutely charming and could not do enough for us. The apartment is comfortable and newly furnished and decorated. The owners are sparing no expense in making the facilities and surroundings top quality. It is ideally situated to catch the free boat to Krka National Park, and there are good restaurants and adequate supermarkets close by. The view from out balcony was magnificent. Once again our hosts were delightful.
