Hotel Regina Cristina is a 2-minute walk from Capri's central Piazzetta square, the town's main shopping area, and close to the Certosa di San Giacomo monastery. The property offers a seasonal pool and air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV.
The rooms were completely renovated in the 1990s, in a Neoclassic style featuring local crafting and ceramics. Some rooms offer a balcony and a spa bath, and the rooms on the 4th floor offer views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Review 1：The shower head was older and somewhat damaged and caused water to leak throughout the restroom. We informed the cleaning staff and they were apologetic and planned on fixing it.

Review 2：The location is great and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will also note that it is a good value for Capri, which tends to be expense and costly.

Review 3：Jacuzzi was not working and were told no other room was available. Cleanliness of the toilet was not up to the mark.

Review 5：Our bathroom was not really new, with some black stains in the bathtube. I guess this is the reason why we got a room in this nice hotel at such a convenient price.

Review 9：The bed cover over the sheets of the bed were plastic, and the blankets in the cupboard had definitely not been washed (absolutely stunk). The pool never had enough towels. The keys that we're given were out of the dark ages. Proper old fashioned keys with the hotel name and room number so if our bags got stolen anyone could have accessed our room. Very poor!

Review 11：Alex and staff were very pleasant and helpful, particularly in communicating before I arrived. Got an excellent (inexpensive) deal online and room was in line with that but very clean with an excellent bathroom. Would recommend. Location can't be beat as well.

Review 12：Staff at the front desk first looked snobbish and uncaring before we told that we had a reservation during check-in. After learning we were their guests, she showed her professional attitude and even showed us to the elevator.

Review 18：apart the breakfast staff who were nice the rest of the staff in the hotel were a really stuck-up like this hotel was the middle of the universe. But it wasnt. I guess 4 star hotels should have wifi without problems and better rooms without massive cracks on the wall for example. So reception staff could learn some good manner . :)

Review 28：Absolutely not suitable for hosting guests during Christmas. Despite it was one of the few hotels open and rooms were sold as high season, the hotel was not equipped nor ready (maintenance still on going/heating system not working/etc).

Review 30：-the rooms are old fashion, and ruined, furnitures are in bad condition -the hotel looks like old panel house, the atmosphere is not good -the rooms are smelly (smoke) -breakfast is very poor!!! No water, no juice, if You do not go at the beginning, no eggs... Whe we asked, they said we can order scrambled eggs, so we did. After few minutes the waiter came and said that the ham and the cheese is extra, will be charged on the room... ( 10 €/pcs !!!) -only watwr in the minibar , at least for free as they said.... at the end 40 € appeared on the bill as "minibar"

Review 40：everything! omg regina cristine is very well located and in the heart of the Capri,hence its easy to travel all over the island.Special mention must be made of the staff- Antonino,Teresa and Steffania who were the epitome of service excellence! The guided us around the island and looked after every single need as if it were their own.The breakfast is an excellent spread.Steffania serves you like a mother!The view of the sea and the faraglioni was breathtaking from our terrace .Things like this make Capri different from the rest of Italy...We are definitely going back and staying here again!

Review 47：Charged for first night even though ferries were cancelled and Regina Cristina had confirmed with the ferry company that a ferry would leave on time that evening. The situation was not in our control but we still had to pay 150euros for the first night. It would have been very nice to have had a discount on the night.

When we sat down for a drink in the lounge area, the server just disappeared so we left without a be erage being served. Perhaps the wait staff should be provided with a little more training in courteous service.
