Review 1：The shortest walk to the beach is closed, so one needs to go back up the hill to the town and take a taxi or a bus to the beach. If you decided to walk there it takes more than an hour.

Review 2：Nice hotel with the beautiful water view if you stay in the room with a balcony and a water view, very good breakfast even providing organic breakfast.

Review 3：1 star room@ 5 star prices. We were appalled at how dirty and broken everything was in our "junior suite". List of broken items included cracked toilet seat, leaking shower (black, dirty grouting), broken hairdryer, broken soap holder put together with sticky tape ( the hotel tried to claim that this was from guests who had just checked out, but it was obvious it had been sitting like that all summer) flickering or broken lights ( most didn't work, & none in the 2nd bed or 2nd shower. The kettle didn't fit the powers points & when we finally received an adapter about an hour after requested, he kettle was broken anyway. When we plugged in our kettle we travelled with, it shorted out all the electrical in the room.the aircon barely worked, & everything in the room was 20 years old. We were charged an exorbitant amount for a disgraceful room. Worst we had in Italy I think, and we stayed in a number of establishments. Breakfast is only just ok, but you would get better in any cafe. The pool is too small for a proper swim. 2 doors down there is a beautiful pool, & we visited friends in their very modern room, & enjoyed their pool. There are lots to choose in Capri, & I would not recommend this hotel.

Review 4：Location was good, although it's quite a walk from the piazza to the hotel with luggage. Public areas are nice at the entrance. The reception staff are very helpful with local knowledge.

Review 7：The beds were exceptionally uncomfortable. Room service menu was available but poor. The pool looked very exotic but the hard stones around it are quite dangerous for younger kids.

Review 8：The location was great. Right in the heart of the main square. It's a little bit of a hike getting to the main square but that's how it is anywhere in Capri. Breakfast was great. Staff helped organize a pvt boat trip. Was helpful.

Review 9：Property is dreadfully tired, with old decor, broken bathroom appliances, poor noise insulation. All properties on Capri are expensive, this one is poor value, so spend an extra 50-100€o get better than this.

Review 11：The single room is not up to the standard at all to a 4 star hotel, very small, many people went pass the terrace, thus there is privacy and security issues. The furniture is dated and not well maintained, hair dryer was broken. Cleaning needs to be improved.

Review 35：We paid more for the hotel room as it was described as having panoramic sea views and with a hot tub. You could only see the sea if you leant over the balcony and it was then only a glimpse through the trees. The hot tub was cold and we were told by the hotel it was not meant to be hot!?! They controlled it from somewhere else, so we couldn't adjust it ourselves. We spilt a glass of water and when cleaning it up with a towel, realised how FILTHY the floor and rug were in the room. Our coffee cups in our room that we used in the morning were merely rinsed to be used again with rings on from the days before. We were also on toilet roll rations. The hot water ran out every evening. We can't say this hotel is anywhere near the grading it's been given.

Review 43：Nothing special. I assume breakfast at Capri hotel are not fantastic overall - they are mostly not a big size hotel. Maybe this is the reason. However, La Floridiana coffee is much better than the other hotel that I stayed in Capri. Their room key is surprisingly heavy.

Review 44：View and the pool. Peaceful and quiet. Close to the center of Capri as the hotel having a pool. I stayed La Palma(very the spot of the center) for the couple of nights and La Floridiana. In terms of view, this one is great. Very nice sea view at the restaurant for breakfast, as well. I will be staying here at my next stay in Capri.

Review 47：It's 5-10 min walking from the center. As capri is all walking on the island, if you are elder or have walking dificulties it would be a bit of a problem. The city view rooms are terrible. We had problems with one room, the barhroom, the water, etc.

Review 52：The location of La Floridiana is perfect. It is central yet quiet. Just a minute's walk from the center of Capri yet on a quiet side street without a lot of foot traffic. The hotel is easy to reach and they were great about sending all necessary information ahead of time. They can arrange everything for you including pick up from the port. We didn't have much luggage and our children are all older so we got their on our own. Breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but could use a little updating. The bathrooms could also use a little update but they were more than adequate. The hotel pool and pool bar a very nice and the views are spectacular.

Review 53：This probably isn't a fair test, since we were only guests for one night, but the hot tub on our terrace simply wouldn't get warm. It was essentially ambient temperature, leaving it useless. I know these things take time to heat up, but after 20 hours it had increased from 30.5 to 31.5 degrees. I remain convinced this was entirely due to the cover being on and it being in full sunlight. Whilst everything was good and the people excellent, we were left with the feeling that this place was REALLY impressive 25 years ago. I've marked the Wi-Fi as 'fair', simply because it was really good when my phone could find it. I'm sure it's solid enough in some rooms, but was basically defunct in ours.

Review 54：It's well located just down the road from Capri town and has lovely views. Our room was huge with a nice terrace, the breakfast was good and there were limited tables outside with further stunning views. The pool was good and clean and the sun deck had yet more lovely views. We arrived fairly late, but the staff had reserved us two loungers in the last of the afternoon's sun. The staff were very polite and tried to meet all our needs. We were also given a free welcome drink on arrival. It's worth noting that the bed was incredibly firm, which may not be to everyone's taste.

Review 55：The shower was unacceptably small, staff seemed stressed and busy, rather small room (which was maybe ok for that price and for italian fashionable resorts overall), thin walls which allow one to hear perfectly well everything which is going on at neghbours' :)
