Review 1：Hotel was ready to close for the season and there were many rooms available when asked for a better view we were just told No. Our room was very dark - no windows & musty. Wifi did not exist in the room only had access in the lobby. Feel it would have been very easy to accommodate our request to move since they were hardly booked.

Review 26：Being charged for drinks I did not purchase, with shifting explanations - you ordered a large drink, you ordered an extra drink, you requested Bombay Sapphire, definitely detracted from the enjoyment I experienced at this hotel. Also, I was never able to get a table on the patio, I suspect one has to be in a couple to do so. The beds are a trifle too firm as well.

Review 31：The 'Standard' room was sub-standard. I picked the standard room because the pictures on their website showed a lovely room with a view. We were taken to a 'dungeon' room with NO view except for a view of an industrial back of the hotel. We had no soap in our bathroom. The person who brought us to our room rummaged through the cleaning persons cart and handed me some soap. The bathroom was smaller than a closet. The toilet seat was very loose and just about attached. We made this reservation 9 months before we arrived and I think they could have done much better by us.

Or anything for that matter! This was a big letdown. -Theypinch pennies at every corner. You have to pay for Wifi- which hashorrible reception in the rooms. They offer a free shuttle to and fromthe main marina- but only when you're checking in or out. If youbook a boat excursion and have to go to the marina, they will chargeyou, even if they are already taking other guests who are checking outand they have space in the van. Cheesy!!! -You pay around 20 euro forbreakfast, which isnt very good. Much of the food looks (and tastes) asif it's last night's dinner leftovers. I mean... Why else wouldyou have (stale) pizza being offered for breakfast?!???? -The hotelboasts that they are located steps from the beach. Sure, a tiny, crowdedbeach that you can't even go to because there's no room.

When we booked God room we were not rold that the standard room had a window that looked onto a concrete wall so close it was not possible for light to get in the room. If we had known that was the outlook we would not have booked that room . It was a real negative to our stay as we could not be in the room other than to sleep. Review 105：Not sure who rates hotels in Europe but this is no 4 star hotel. It may have a good location and facilities but it is shabby, old and in need of a major upgrade and is very poorly maintained from the pool towels, which are paper thin to the hand dryer in the public bathroom falling off the wall the day we arrived and still hanging when we left! I was only able to get a standard room and refused the first room shown, which was like a dark, damp dungeon infested with mosquitoes- the second option at least was dry. The gym had decent equipment although the one treadmill was broken on arrival and remained so for the entire stay. The equipment was ffilthy as there were no towels provided, the Airconditioning didn't work and with no staff present no one felt the need to wipe up after they'd sweated all over. All in all, this hotel for me is far from 4 star and I wouldn't go back again.

(So yes, we were that couple that went to the lobby and midnight to answer work emails, instead of from the comfort of our rooms.) - A bit nitpicky, but what 4 star resort offers linen napkins in lieu of hand and face towels in the bathroom? (Yes, literally the linen napkins found in the restaurant.)

I did not understand why, they cancelled my reservation, because they said my card was not valid, even though i said i will pay CASH!!!!!!! Booking did not annouce me why the hotel cancelled, the hotel did not call, i just received a mail that my reservation is canceled (i was already in italy when that happend so basicly i was there with no hotel booked). We spoke 40 minutes in Roaming on the phone to sort the problem, nobody cared about the cost of that call, nobody cared that i was already in italy with train tickets and boat tickets pre-bought. I called at this 4 star hotel and the guy that answered said he was from security, so that 4 star hotel does not have a non stop reception (of course a lie).... When we arrived there, nobody said sorry, our mistake, nothing like that .... I'm very dissapointed!!!! I will not reccomend!!!!!

And the worst part was multiple indicators that made me question their integrity, especially when it came to billing. When I checked-out, charges on the bill were illogically grouped (e.g., combing breakfast charges with shuttle charges) such as to hide a number of charges that were unjustified (e.g., automatically charging me, a single traveller, for two breakfasts each morning; multiple bar charges that were not mine). Not to mention putting a hard-sell on for cash payment. Sketchy.

Review 141：It is a three star hotel in need of an upgrading. The beds were not comfortable and the furniture looks and feels old. We were on the only floor without balconies.

Review 142：The staff was very nice, especially the drivers that take you from the center of town to the hotel. The views are spectacular!!
