Reviews for Shtarkman Erna Boutique Hotel

Review 1:Very small rooms. Barely room to walk about and from the rating and price I expected much more. Also as a tourist I thought the breakfast would be s bit more upscale and interesting. The picture on line suggested a far more luxurious venue. Also no view!

Review 2:Good location staff very nice and helpful

Review 3:Although it wasnt on the beach front, the location was near enough, on a quiet and pleasant street. We were given free entry to the country club, whuchbwas nice and also discount to several restaurants around the area. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was nice.

Review 4:Room wasn't ready on arrrival

Review 5:Quite luxurious. Gave us beach towels and ticket for free access to local beach. Good stop off for touring up the coast.

Review 6:Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Jonathan. The breakfast was lovely. Grounds and rooms were charming - sort of a not shabby-chic style. Great value for the cost.

Review 7:Wonderful place, classy, stylish and comfortable and cozy. As I understood from my israel trip - people don't care much about cleaning in houses. In this hotel the room was perfectly clean comparing to others places I've been to. it's placed in a calm area close to the beach and cafes. The breakfast is kosher, but still everyone will find something to his taste: different types of granola and muesli, fruits, vegetable salads, cheese, bakery, yogurts, cream, eggs, sometimes pasta or baked potatoes. Also they give bags and towels for beach for free. Another good addition is discounts for several cafes (10%) and attractions(the discount is around 20%, more or less).

Review 8:Saturday breakfast buffet is not fresh. Because of local habits, it is prepared one day in advance. So you might have for this day flabby vegetables, old croissants and instant coffee. It is ok, but you must be prepared for it!

Review 9:Clean, nice decorations, wonderful garden, chic rooms, friendly personnel.

Review 10:only that on Shabbat we were told at the nearby beach that we needed a voucher--stamped on our wrists--to enter around the corner from the hotel. No one at the hotel knew about this or where to locate a stamp!

Review 11:The staff and the antique decorations---and the sunny garden! The Shabbat meal at the Carlton was one of a kind---not to be duplicated in all of Israel! The breakfast buffet fit for a queen and king!

Review 12:Friendly, accommodating staff. Updated room and bath, comfortable bed, nice breakfast with personal omelets, freshly made bread and an espresso/cappuccino machine. Near the beach and promenade. Great value!

Review 13:We had a great time in this amazing hotel. We loved the special and unique atmosphere, and its lovely garden. We really enjoyed having free access to the country club and private beach nearby. 100% recommended!

Review 54:Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Very clean. Great breakfast. Parking on street out front. Went out of the way to take care of all our needs.

Review 55:Soundproofing was not great but the other guests were not noisy so it worked out.

Review 56:Great staff, room had been redone, I prefer a smaller hotel like this one.

Review 57:Room a bit small, but there were two parents and a 17 yr old girl, so perhaps only wide open spaces could hold us.

Review 58:Lovely, helpful staff and very attractive garden on site. Very good location near the beach.

Review 59:but once in the room - it is a completely a different hotel. furniture is old and outdated, and the bathroom is dump old and not so clean.

Review 60:the public space , lobby, breakfast room, are very nice, nicely decorated and clean, so are the elevator and your way to the rooms. the breakfast is nice .

Review 61:The beds could of been a bit firmer.

Review 62:As a whole the experience was one that I have not experienced in a long time. The staff was spot on with all questions and responses and information. We will stay there again!

Review 63:Was charged according to a fictitious high exchange rate.

Review 64:Newly refurbished. Clean. Retro design. Rich breakfast buffet. Short walk from beach. Friendly staff.

Review 65:Nahariyya is not the most exciting location but the hotel was a true gem, and the staff super-attentive. The rooms are of a good size, updated, wooden floors. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options.

Review 66:This is an amazing hotel with a beautiful interior, incredibly tasty breakfast and very attentive staff! We with my husband twice in one trip stayed in it, back to him like home! Thanks a lot!

Review 67:The room standard is average but still well within the hotel catagorie.

Review 68:The staff was extremely kind and helpful . They provided us with outstanding assistance to resolve issues with my rented GPS and my Avis car. Breakfast was first class with very large choice.

Review 69:Small bathroom

Review 70:Hotel was quaint and stylish but modern and comfortable. Room very nice with comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast. Garden was a real bonus. very friendly and helpful staff

Review 72:Beautiful design Amazing breakfast Friendly and helpful staff we got a good deal to a restaurant near by thanks to staying in the hotel. walking distance to the shore

Review 73:Air conditioning was not adjustable although we were not uncomfortable.

Review 74:Nice comfortable room. Lovely garden area to sit and shmooze rightoutside the dining area. Very satisfying Israeli bkfst.Close toAkko,Haifa and Rosh Haniqua. They even had cable car tickets we wereable to purchase at a discount.

Review 75:All the staff were just brilliant, we have hardly ever had such good service anywhere. Definitely a great place to stay. The discounts offered are a nice touch.

Review 76:Very nice atmosphere and decor, retro 60's, books and French chansonnettes on the background, looks freshly renovated, very nice breakfast and very good coffee

Review 77:The main problem is value for money. The room's decoration and furnitures are simple and basic. There is no reason to call it a boutique hotel, although it is a very nice hotel. It doesn't worth 1000 nis per night. We arrived on holiday, but we don't think it is a reasonable price for what you get.

Review 78:Friendly and helpful staf. Very nice and simple breakfast. Clean room and bath. Peaceful hotel. As long as you don't expect boutique quality, and you get it for reasonable price, it is a great location for day trips to Ein Afek, Montfort and nice beach area.

Review 79:Simple,small rooms.

Review 80:Beautifully designed and restored common spaces and breakfast room. Clean and well-maintained. Pleasant and quiet. Nice garden. Close to Western Galilee attractions, beaches, and nature trips.

Review 81:Our room was very small for the four of us and very basic. For the price, I would have expected something a little more upscale.

Review 82:We needed a place to stay on our way North, and this hotel was the right price for our purposes. The breakfast was the best part of our stay; it was abundant, fresh and had options for all four of us (including our 11 and 7 year old children). The staff was very kind, check-in was simple and the recently updated lobby was nice.

Review 83:The hotel has the charm of a family-run hotel with a spacious and attractive lobby. The room was small but well designed & comfortable. It is located two blocks from the beach. The breakfast had great salads!

Review 84:We booked two rooms. One was absolutely fantastic...beautifully appointed and very clean. The other was a standard room, but more than adequate. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. All in all I would definately stay there again if I was ever in Northern Israel.
