Situated 10 minutes’ drive from Obi Obi Creek, Spicers Tamarind Retreat & Spa is set on 18 acres and offers rooms with free breakfast, a fireplace and a balcony. Guests enjoy a swimming pool with a spa pool, a restaurant and a day spa.
Spicers Tamarind Retreat is located 5 minutes’ drive from Maleny and 20 minutes’ drive from Mapleton. The beaches of the Sunshine Coast are 40 minutes’ drive away.
The Asian-style villas each offer garden views and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. All include an en suite bathroom with fluffy bathrobes, slippers and guest toiletries.

The fire was always laid when we went in, but the blankets were not sufficiently warm, nor was the air conditioning in the bedroom. Unit 2 could have done with a proper pathway to the entrance steps as the ground was somewhat muddy.
