Condo Hotel Emerald sells fast on our site. Set on the cliffside of Plaka village, Emerald features a large swimming pool enjoying scenic views over Souda Bay. It offers spacious apartments with private sea-view balconies and has a poolside bar with a furnished flowery terrace.

Review 1：Comfortable accommodation in very pretty surroundings. A quiet location within walking distance of the nearest village and the beach. Excellent value for money. Use of a car is preferable.
Review 2：The peace and tranquillity of the location and the apartments has to be experienced to be believed. The views over the bay, particularly the sunsets, are spectacular. There is an excellent restaurant, although there are cheaper places to eat in Plaka village up the hill, the staff are friendly and accommodating and the servicing of the apartments is first class. For the perfect 'chill out' holiday, Emerald is unbeatable.
Review 3：Emerald is a fantastic place to stay, boasting superb views across Souda bay, extremely well kept grounds, a lovely swimming pool and a great restaurant. The rooms/apartments are very well appointed and very clean. Finally, all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This is a real hidden gem and hopefully it will remain that way!

Review 6：The only slight criticism is that it is a 15 minute walk from the beach so it would have been better with a car, although we got used to that and the beach and facilities there were also excellent.
Review 7：The hotel and facilities were excellent. The staff were also excellent and the breakfasts were excellent. We also had free wifi, self catering facilities and a lovely pool which wasn't too busy.

Review 10：The position of the apartment the best I have seen the view from there is just spectacular the most beautiful anywhere was my third time staying there, I can't wait for my fourth.

Review 12：The view is great. Quiet location. Distance to nearest supermarkets in Plaka is 450 meters. The nearest beach in Almyrida is 1km. There ATMs there too, but if you have to exchange money you have to go to Kalyves. Excursions to Balos/Elafonissi/etc. go from Almyrida. We didn't rent a car, just used public transportation to travel around the island. The buses don't go very often, because this area is located away from the main highway (ex. there was no evening bus from Chania, so we ended up taking the bus to Kalyves, and then a taxi from there-12 euros). We concluded that it's cheaper and more convenient to go with the organized tour. Or, if you rent a car, you won't have a problem.

Review 14：I liked all. It was the perfect place to relax, but you better have a car to get to the better beaches. Very close to Chania. The restaurant has interesting food and very tasty - not the usual tavern dishes. And of course, the gadening is amazing.

Review 16：Wonderful views across the bay. Our room had two balconies, one from the living area and one from the bedroom, with the doors open it created a welcoming cool breeze. The food served here is excellent, I thoroughly recommend eating here, look out for the Lemon Tart, its worth the visit just to try it.
Review 17：Walk to the local town / beach is 15 mins along a road so we opted to eat at the hotel which was a good choice for us. Perhaps not so much for others. One floor higher than ours would have enjoyed better views.
Review 18：Nice apartment with fantastic views around. Nice Pool and staff friendly. Had an evening meal there which was excellent. Not what you would call classic Greek more bespoke with small portion sizes but very tasty. I am a veggie and they made me a dish up off menu no problem. Enjoyed our stay very much and should have stayed two nights at least.
