Review 1：-First the nice location: Plaka is a quiet little village in the hills (superb views) with a couple of restaurants (also for breakfast), a minimarket and a bakery where we drank the best espresso in Crete. By car only a 5 minute drive to the touristy seaside resort Almyrida. -Excellent free wifi -Lovely garden and pool which was actually bigger than we thought from the pictures -The owners are very welcoming and helpful -The rooms, although not large, are clean and comfortable, with good beds. The rooms are decorated in a kind of 70s style. So if you like retro.... :)
Review 2：Owners were absolutely lovely, really helpful, and their advice about places to eat was always right on the money. Room was clean, bright, airy, we had everything we needed. We stayed in room 2, a split level room. Mind your head when you wake up in the middle of the night though! Sitting on the balcony first thing in the morning should be available as a therapy! The village itself was quiet but had two little supermarkets for supplies. Plaka is perched on a hill so that we could watch the hustle and bustle in Almyrida and Kalives down the coast, as we sat in perfect blissful peace (except for some noisy cicadas...). We had a car, but there was a bus stop just down the road, and good tavernas on the square too (Harokopos' beef stifado was delish). Would definitely recommend Bicorna.
Review 3：Elena is a charming host, we loved talking to her and being amongst her grandchildren as they played in the shady plateia. The pool was also a welcome cool place in the 34 degree heat!
Review 4：We had a lovely welcome on arrival from the whole family running Bicorna. Very friendly and helpful throughout our stay there. Food excellent facilities very good and the garden area and pool area were very beautiful and enchanting.
Review 5：Having to pay for room in cash. No ATM nearby made this difficult. Would have been much more convenient to pay by card.

Review 8：Our family arranged our stay for our Honymoon as a surprise. We had a lovely time at Bicorna, most friendly staff (family) and perfect location. We especially recommend the hotstone massage or facial treatment from their eldest daughter, what a joy!

Lovely peaceful family run hotel, with a taverna set in garden, providing on request breakfast, lunch, dinner if required. Great bar (wonderful place for a sundowner or a morning coffee) & swimming pool set in pretty garden with plenty of sunbeds & shady spots. Fabulous views of the sunset over the bay. Right near centre of Plaka with its many other tavernas/restaurants & minimart. A 15 minute walk downhill to the beautiful beach at Almyrida.

Review 19：This is a family run hotel and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. It was very quiet as the hotel is situated away from the main road and we had a nice balcony with a sea view. Very close to the good tavernas in Plaka Square and a short walk to the beach.
Review 20：This is the most relaxing hotel I have ever stayed at! With its beautiful garden and pool area, nice rooms and restaurant and the friendly owners Phyllis and Melina and their parents, it felt like being in an oasis. I also recommend the wellness treatments.
