Review 1：The wifi is unreliable at times.

Review 2：I like the refurbished bedrooms - the beds are very comfortable and the sheets are changed every two days. The room and bathroom were spotless. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to good restaurants and transport links to the old town.

Review 3：Very good location, nice restaurant with very good food, room very clean and nicely done. Excellent breakfast nicely displayed. We enjoyed excellent dinner at the hotel, home made pasta, very good prepared steak and of course very good Chianti. Tiramisu was prepared on a new way, it was good but we prefered traditional way. Excellent location for visiting any part of Bergamo. We didn't try spa. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Review 4：WIFI is mediocre in rooms (room 214) but fast at reception. Breakfast is italian style (on the sweet side), but cheese is great. SPA is not inclusive: EUR 38 for 3 hours.

Review 5：Free welcome drink at the bar. Staff are nice and give good recommendations for restaurant. Rooms are clean and have a touch of art (decor). Centrally located and even in walking distance to cita alta.

Review 6：Rooms facing street front bit too noisy even with windows closed. Had to keep window closed and therefore a bit stuffy in room. Ask for a room facing back. Also church bells ringing very early in morning, but was a bit charming also.

Review 10：Mature staff were friendly and helpful - very different experience with two younger members of staff. Information for tourist guests could be improved. Breakfast was just ok - bluebottles resting on the prunes in the morning isn't a good start - a simple cover would go a long way. Had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant - we declined to dine there again and sadly couldn't recommend it.

Review 14：Just one thing that is slightly disturbing. In order to switch on and off air-condition, you need to call reception. That is something that does not really go with the style of hotel and level of other services provided

Review 23：We loved everything about this hotel. We had travelled from Lake Como on a very hot day and it was like heaven walking into the quiet air conditioned room. The hotel is well located and it was only a 10 min walk from the station to reach the hotel.Bergamo is split into 2 parts and a short walk (15 mins) took you to the finicular which we took to reach the old town which is well worth a visit.There are some quaint restaurants in the old town and splendid churches.We only spent one night at the hotel but would love to return again for 2/3 days.The following afternoon we caught the No 1 bus to the airport . The bus stop is just around the corner from the hotel.The buses run every 20 mins and the journey is about 20 mins.The staff are all very pleasant and helpful and we were allowed to keep the room on an extra hour which enabled us to shower and change before our journey home.

Close to railway station as well, but not too close. Got a very good tips from the reception about where to eat and she also made a reservation - helpful with good service. Also there was a welcome coctail that was a very nice gesture so really felt like welcome!

The location is close to the train station with a bus stop outside to reach the old town. The hotel is close to many good restaurants. This was my second visit to this hotel in two years. Review 46：The blond high woman with glasses in the reception was very arrogant, when we came- which was a bad start in Bergamo. The room 112 had ants and the cleaning was bad, there was dark hair 3 places in bathroom and near the beds.

Review 50：The breakfasts were spoiled because they used a flask to keep the water warm but it was not boiling, so the tea and the 'would you believe' Nescafe (in Italy) was always cold .Also the 2 tea pots were either without a lid or the lid was broken. I only saw these two teapots for the 4 days I was there. A tidy bin was not on every table it looked like they were short on them too. So sad...really small things which would not cost much to correct.
