Review 1：Room smelt musky. Had to buy my own candle, cheapest $26.00!. Food and beverage very expensive. Same price as Australia.Cocktail list was something I would expect from a 3 star. Nothing fresh, just all syrups. No Bintang bottled, even away from pool. No swim up bar. You can't just walk out and eat or shop elsewhere. You have to eat/shop there or taxi out. Spa also expensive $190 AUD for 1.5 hour massage.

Review 2：Beautiful rooms, very comfortable and clean. Loved then bathroom shower. Beautiful pool, slides for kids. Clean beach. Great buffet breakfast. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa was very luxurious.

Review 3：Very disappointing service, especially given that we were there to celebrate the New Year. Was impossible to buy/pre-order decent drinks as nothing was available from their wine/drinks list, unless you were prepared to pay in excess of USD500 for a bottle of champagne. Similar rates for a buffet dinner for two people, excluding drinks. All available programs in all restaurants were timed to finish at 11pm and then all guests basically were forced to either return to their rooms or pay excessive rates to gather in one central area to watch the fireworks (done by other hotels by the way). This was accompanied by a terrible music and equally terrible unattantive service. A total let down, with only one member of staff seemigly taking a genuine interest in our wellbeing and making us feel welcome. Generally puzzling, given the number of staff working there. Many orders forgotten, no one took any time to even have a basic genuine conversation about what we wanted. Would never recommend as a 5 star resort, despite the beautiful location. Moved to a different hotel, where service was impeccable throughout and this actually redeemed Bali as a holiday destination for me.

Site didn't allow me to modify and existing location because I was in the middle of the stay. I had to create a new reservation and paid almost 40% for the extra night than the previous 9 nights

Review 29：Room service at one night didn't change the bedding and there was sands under the cover , i woke up the next day with skin rash ., prices of food and drinks expensive comparing it to other 5 stars hotels in bali , one more thing . Resort is huge and sometimes after a long day of activities u need a golf car to take you to ur room . There was golf cars but its only for staff use and luggage handling. Bed is not so comfy

Review 31：At first I was given a grand room located quite far from the lobby and next to a section of the hotel that was undergoing a renovation. The room was stuffy, bad smelling as if it has been empty for quite sometime. Even the telephone handset was smelly. The view from the room was awful. I asked for a better room and luckily I was moved to the one not far from the lobby.

Review 32：I love the size of the room with its comfy bed and the lotus pond at the back of the room, not to mention the many other lotus ponds scattered all over the hotel compound. The highlight of my stay there is the luxury of enjoying the private, white sandy beach at the back of the hotel.

You can get lost there are so many facilities and the pools and gardens are all very well maintained. Rooms were very nice also. Upgraded to king poolside room which was awesome! Review 55：Communication with staff was sometimes difficult, reception sending guests to the local money changer for smaller denomination notes rather than change themselves, or ordering breakfast/room service was not easy. Housekeeping was not 5 star standard, cleaning of bathrooms was hit & miss as was whether toiletries were being re-stocked. Pool was the temperature of bathwater. Without tipping the staff guests would probably get a lower level of attention.

Review 56：Hyatt has good quality Japanese restaurant and 2 x professional squash courts - communal gardens were very pretty and well maintained.

Review 57：The Salsa Verde restaurant has no Italian style at all. Plus the food is basic Italian at the best. I ordered lasagna and received a piece of lasagna covered in tomato and chilli sauce. It was boiling hot on the edges and cold in the middle. When I sent it back the 'chef' wanted to argue with me. We went to the Garden Restaurant for Christmas eve. They had a set menu, but I was not feeling well and asked for something light. This was "not possible". It was the set menu or nothing. So we left, but not before my wife was charged for the full set menu. Not good enough for a resort that purports to be 5 star!

Review 58：The Hyatt Club lounge was excellent. The architecture was stunning as was the service, so we spent a lot of time there. Drinks and snacks in the evenings were excellent. As was the Hyatt Club pool, which was a tranquil oasis.

Pros: - Beautiful resort, large area, you can spend couple of days in the resort without going out - Has a private beach which is wonderful. - Many activities including Childrens were inside the resort - Multiple lake-like swimming pools - Bali collection (a shopping centre) is 5-min walk - Large room with a side bed which was fun - Wonderful staff

Review 62：The hotel gives you a stunning view the moments you step into it. Excellent location with stringent security, near to the airport -and walking distance to Bali collection with shops, restaurants, bars & supermarket. We got upgraded to a suite with spectacular view. Our room is situated a the south part & have direct access to the beach (no need to pass by the swimming pool area). The one room suite has a spacious living room, dining area, a private balcony overseeing a koi pond, a walk in closet , big bathroom with 2 sinks, seperate shower & bath tub. The room also came with free wife, chocolates, tibits , neprsso & sparkling water. The hotel area is absolutely large with a private beach. I like the open concept lobby and as a Hyatt Gold Passport member, I got to enjoy the special check in/out counter. The facilities of the hotel is great! Many dining option, shops & even a night market selling local souvenir! There are 5 swimming pools too ! You can really spend a 3 whole days in the hotel as there is so much to do ! Love this hotel & we will stay again if we got a chance to visit Bali. Next time we gonna stay for a week !

Review 63：Huge resort, lacks the personal experience. Breakfast at Garden cafe not a good experience (as we were not having breakfast included in our package, we were signing the bill every day, somebody was coming each day to remind us that we do not have breakfast included and we need to pay. We felt not wellcomed, like we were outsiders...) The organisation of the breakfast was quite bad (we were often receiving the coffees ordered by somebody else), and someone was checking every 1 minute if we have any empty plate, in order to take it away. Anything you do in the hotel is a rip off, they do not have the courtesy of a real Hyatt.

The hotel management denied this occurred eventhough the maintenance staff apologized many times. The restaurants are over priced.
