Reviews for Castelsardo Resort Village
Review 1:You are forced to buy a club card which we did not use, this was not fair - even the sun loungers on the beach are not included with the card!! No wi-fi in the bedrooms
Review 2:Beautiful location, lovely apartment, amazing swimming pool
Review 3:We had some problems in the pool'so bar. 30 minutes to get two toasts and a bottle of water. Italian girls didn't bother to say sorry.
Review 4:View from the place is amazing, as nature blessed the Sardegna with beautiful beaches. Animation staff were friendly, specifically Sam. We recommend this place.
Review 5:The beach is pretty far away downstairs the rock. But there is a shuttle bus to the beach. No wifi in the room. The breakfast is too poor for a 4*hotel
Review 6:A nice swimming pool, wonderful view. Just a couple km from castelsardo
Review 7:Unfriendly and lazy personal at the reception instead of francesca Mold!!! on the tomatos at breakfast bufet and nobody cares Hiden costs (resort fee is about 4 euro/night/person, sitting outside for lunch or dinner is about 2 euro/person, 10 euro for umbrella and two sunbeds on private hotel beach) Nearly nobody talks english
Review 8:Rooms Dinner Nice view
Review 9:WIFI only in reception. Town is 3 km from resort, so I recommend to have a car/bike, to visit interesting places and beaches nearby.
Review 10:Helpfull man in reception, nice rooms, good and reach breakfast, nice swimming pool, quiet place. Little send/pebbles beach down of the hill. Castelsardo is wonderful town, mainly in the evening.
Review 11:The atmosphere did not have a positive vibe. Terrible food. Staff all seemed bored. Rooms were fine, but nothing amazing.
Review 12:Pool was lovely. Great views.
Review 13:Reall bad breakfast !Everything in the hotel cost money ,event to sit down on the terrass.
Review 14:The view is fabulous and the room was immaculate with good facilities the team at the pool are fun.
Review 15:We stayed at an economy room and found it dated, old and dirty. In the morning found fleas in the bed and after complaining to the front desk, they didn't seem bothered about this at all. The man at the counter was very ignorant and would not compensate us for the bad experience. Would not recommend the experience to anyone.
Review 16:Additional charges by the Hotel are ridiculous, e.g. paying a fee for eating on the terrace of the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was very poor and wasn't refilled.
Review 17:Location was beautiful, great sea view room.
Review 18:Hotel grounds very drab and need a gardener - weeds and poor repair generally Not sure why you have to pay to use the pool and amenities Four euros a day- paper person pressurised on arrival to buy a wristband- don't give in like we did as if you have a car you don't need a wristband Breakfast poor - not much hot food on offer and all very much hand to mouth - mostly ran out before it was replenished Suggest you don't eat there at all as you have a fridge in your room- buy some supplies and you can avoid the hotel completely You have to pay 2 euros per person per day to sit on the balcony as well which is ludicrous - we asked thd manageress about this and she was unhelpful saying if they didn't charge no one would sit in the main restaurant !- despite a warm week the doors on to the balcony were closed most days and do those not paying had to swelter at breakfast and the staff mainly were breakfasting outside!
Review 19:Really liked the room - bungalow style kept spotlessly clean by the maid service- well decorated and bathroom looked brand new The view is fabulous and the bungalows all have sea views The team at the pool are fun - we didn't care much for the darts or win a drink games but we did water aerobics and that was fun Elena the kids club host is super and was great with our daughter
Review 20:The fact that I had to pay 24euros for the week to use tennis court gymand swimming pool, the only thing I wanted to use was the swimming pooland never had to pay for this use anywhere else. On first morning atbreakfast set food on table outside and told we had to pay 2 euros permeal pp to sit outside, when we took this up with the female manager shewas most unhelpful and abrupt, charging to sit outside in the fresh airis outrageous
Review 21:The room was immaculate with good facilities and lovely view
Review 22:You had to pay to use a sun lounger on the beach and it is a bit of a drive from any airport.
Review 23:Rooms were brand new, clean and with lovely views. Pool albeit it cold was very big and the beach was nice. Food was way way above expectation and we decided to stay in the hotel and cancel the restaurant booking we had made for one night.

Review 39:Nice location.
Review 40:The breakfast wasn't really a breakfast! Cafe and orange juice are bad and not a lot of choice for salted food
Review 41:The place is great as long as you rent a car and the view is amazing. The room have a fridge
Review 42:Really bad breakfast !! Everything in the hotel cost Money , Everything! Even to sit down on the terrass.
Review 43:Good rooms and nice seawiew and Close to Castelsardo
Review 44:sea-water pool for our daughter (for us it was a new ecological (?)experience; garden and the interior seem to be uncultivated (platsics and old stuffs you will see at first sight ;-( breakfast-buffet is very poor and absolutely misses regional products!!!
Review 45:view (but surely not from each suite!)... and renovated/new clean rooms (e.g. our nr. 111)
Review 46:There is little explanation upon arrival, so you are left to figure outall the rules/routines on your own. That was very frustrating asthere are a lot of little things to learn. No towels at the pool, sobring your own or use the room towels.
Review 47:The food was delicious, very well-stocked buffets for lunch and dinner. The animation staff members were excellent with the kids. The views aresuperb. The beach has a lot of wildlife (birds, fish) and the water isgorgeous, although it is a little pebbly.
Review 48:STAY AWAY!!!! Staff was very unpleasant to deal with. 1. They did not give me new towels after cleaning my room. when I called to ask for more towels, they asked me to come and pick it up myself from the reception. when I told them I want it delivered to my room - it never came! 2. one of our rooms had mold or something, the smell was horrible!!!! when we went to change it, the guy came with us so we will prove him that the room is smelly - even then, he have done absolutely nothing... for us it is definitely a place we will not return to
Review 49:Location
Review 50:You need a car otherwise you are more or less stuck in the hotel. Apparently as we were informed by staff there is no bike rental eithere in castelsardo. Food and facilities wise definetely not a 4 star hotel. Entertainment/activities/music too loud.
Review 51:Location with beautiful views and next to the beach. Nice swimming pool. Clean and comfortable rooms.
Review 52:Personnel not so friendly. Everything must be paid as a supplement.
Review 53:Nice and calm room with very beautiful view. Good location, breakfastok, Wifi at reception, Nice swimming pool and private beach!
Review 54:breakfast could be better and more diversed, a lot of walking to main building for a brakfast
Review 55:excellent view, rooms are very clean and cosy, quiet and beatutifull area, small private beach near hotel, good price/quality ratio
Review 56:Having to pay extra to use pool bar & breakfast terrace
Review 57:no wifi outside of reception. It could be at list in the pool area.
Review 58:You would need a car to stay at this resort.
