Review 1：The linens smelled terrible and were old and rough. Everyone in our group got rashes from the linens. The breakfast items were not replenished quickly and we had to wait. The hotel was not staffed enough for the amount of guests.

Review 3：Bellini is described as a design hotel. We wouldn't really agree with that. The interior, furniture and decoration are very basic. The room was large with two small windows at about 2meters from the floor, that was the killer as it really felt like a box inspite of the expensive rate we paid during high season.

Review 4：Nice simple hotel conveniently located close to Naples pedestrian area. It has a nice court where uou can have breakfast or chilll out. So except for location, the hotel is just 'ok' on all aspects.

Review 5：There was nothing per se that was bad. It is not quite a Four Seasons and thus does not get a 10.0 rating, but I would absolutely stay at La Palma again and recommend it to others.

Review 12：Small double room for the price (288 Euro). No view. We paid at the hotel the ticket for the hydrophoil but the hotel person left us waiting at the port for half an hour and came to give us our tickets after boarding had started.

Review 14：I like the way the Great Concierge Sir Antonio speak and explain the area and with full of details also about the restaurant he is a magnificent Concierge I've ever met on my life I hope to visit the island on my next visit because of this Sir because really he is different from every concierge I've ever saw on my life. Review 17：My sister, my friend and I just have recently returned from our trip to Italy during which we stayed at La Palma hotel. It was second stay at this hotel. The reason we were back at La Palma is that last summer we enjoyed our beautiful room, friendly staff and great atmosphere so much that we decided to come back there again. This year we booked even a bigger room and were hopping for the same service. When we arrived some of the hotel staff remembered us right the way and were very happy to see us back. But apparently not everybody... The lady on reception desk ( I believe her name is Antonia) who was responsible for the rooms that day, gave us the worst room in the hotel -- first floor near emergency exit, stairs, and balcony with a view on garbage. I think that was the worst room in the hotel! When I saw the room I returned to the reception desc and kindly asked to switch the room for something better.But Antonia said she couldn't help us with anything because hotel was completely full (which was not true). It was Sunday and no manager was in the hotel at that time... First we waited for two hours because she said she needed to call the manager of the hotel in order to find out if any other rooms were available! Then Antonia finally said she could give us only a double room (instead of triple room we booked and paid for) and added that she wouldn't charge us for that. Charge us for what? For switching triple room to double? Really? The room wasn't the only problem though... WIFI and AC poorly worked (imagine Capri in a middle of August). And my sister had to sleep on a couch!This is my first time writing any reviews. I am too lazy to do this... But this time I just feel like I have to. I really think that management of the hotel along with the owner of the hotel must know who's meeting and greeting their clients. A witch who's name Antonia!P.S.

Review 21：The noises in the hotel were disturbing: The slamming of the doors are really loud. A system for the doors to close slowly should be implemented. On another hand the "ladies" receptionists should smile and be more friendly.

Review 22：The reception area is nice. The restaurant terrace is a very nice place for brunch, specially dinner. The singer at night is quite good. Roberto at the reception is extremely friendly and funny.

Slamming doors early in the morning (a lot of conferences etc are taking place in the hotel with most of the participants staying overnight, getting up early), The hotel should do something about this. 2. Very loud airconditioning (I had to turn it of). 3. Ventilation system in the courtyard also makes lots of noise. 4. Churchbells ringing day&night. If you appreciate quietness and tranquiility and like to rest a lot, I would not recommend this hotel.

Review 80：Buffet breakfast (not bad for Italy). Professional staff. The hotel has an excellent location right in the centre of Capri, the rooms are clean, big and nicely decorated.

Review 81：Room Decor was glamorous style with scenic frescoes and patterned tiled floors ,striped curtains in blue and yellow. Hotel had a glamorous style throughout with an outdoor terrace cafe to watch the street pass by. Located right in the main shopping strip and close walking distance to everything. Most informative concierge with local knowledge and a love of the island .

Review 82：Location to the piazza on Capri. The people watching is great fun. We loved walking down to the beach as our daily exercise. The views from all the walks on Capri are spectacular. We ate very well every day but felt no guilt! This is a very easy place to want to come back to. We would, of course, choose La Palma.

Review 84：Nice location, friendly staff, big luminous and very nice rooms (frescoed walls and traditional tiled floors). You can ask for beach towels at the reception if you did not bring one (most beach clubs also offer this service). They will also book your return ferry/hydrofoil (for a small fee). During our sightseeing we saw some alternatives and we really recommend this hotel especially if you can book the room for about €200 or less! We also decided to stay and extra night and the staff managed to keep us in the same room/same rate!

Review 86：This hotel is a Gem, the location is probably the best in this beautiful island of Capri, a few steps from the main Capri Piazza you will find the hotel of your dreams especially it is next to Gelateria Bonocore which serves the best Gelato in Italy maybe , it is recommended to try the Fantasia di Capri with the fresh cones that is prepared in front of you with a line up of 20 people or more the whole day long.

Review 92：Very very noisy. Right in the middle of Capri with noisy street on one side and noisy park on the other....and a noisy club at the side! Could not sleep at all. Room was nicely decorated but small and poorly appointed. Electricity went out in the morning so no aircon, tv, or even phone to complain. We moved out to a much nicer less expensive, bigger, quieter hotel nearby.

Review 94：Anyone booking here should be aware that there is no pool or anywherebeautiful to sit outside except the dining areas. This is a shame as LaPalma has a roof that is not being utilised and with a littleimagination could be turned into something beautiful with perhaps aplunge pool if the building wont take a swimming pool. I was aware ifthis when we booked so it was not a huge issue for me.However, the air con is very feeble and this was a real problem. When I asked reception if I could have a fan, the person said that there were none but told me where I could buy one! This would be a hotel to avoid during the heat of the summer when the pretty rooms would be unbearable. In addition and as it is centrally placed, you really need to keep the balcony doors shut overnight because there is an amount of noise which is unavoidable and presumable why such good double glazing has been installed. There is no hospitality tray and I would certainly have expected one in a hotel like this. I know Italians are not tea drinkers like us Brits but this is certainly an addition that the hotel could make easily. The breakfast completely lacked imagination and why in a land that grows such wonderful fruit and veg is the fruit out of cans? There was a fruit bowl but frankly the fruit looked like it had been there for ages and everyone avoided it! As a consequence, we did not bother to eat here at all in the evenings so I can’t comment on the food other than the boring breakfast On writing this, I feel sad for this hotel and despite being pretty and stylish I won’t be staying here again. Lots of hotels on Capri are making huge efforts to be competitive. This hotel was only about half full (if that) when we stayed here and I can see exactly why

Both therooms and reception / dining areas are stylish and beautiful and thestaff are, on the whole, helpful if not exactly welcoming – maybeprofessional is a good description? But it works. Review 97：Hotel prices change after the booking. Does not inform in advance about the price increase on weekends and holidays by 50%. The hotel design is interesting, but disgusting food. Located in the center but a taxi is stopped by a 500 m2 and suitcases have to carry yourself, it is inconvenient
