The Aqualux is a brand-new hotel with modern interiors, interesting architecture and extensive spa facilities. It is in Bardolino on Lake Garda at the foot of Monte Felice. Parking is free.
Aqualux Hotel Spa Suite & Terme is an eco-friendly property with a geometric square design, totaling 182,986 ft². Its lobby features large windows overlooking the courtyard and water area. There are a total of 8 swimming pools, both internal and external.
The free AquaSpa & Wellness is 10,764 ft² and includes a gym, a sauna and a Turkish bath. A range of massages and tanning beds are also available.

Review 1：Pools and saunas opening hours on week days! No kids allowed in saunas! No kids in pool zone after 18 o'clock! Whirlpool was closed for maintaining.

Review 11：Expensive hotel but for us the facilities advertised were useless because they had limited opening hours. Who has heard of a sauna being open 10 (I think)-7? Or a hotel known for having a "Wellness Centre" having closed its gym and having a replacement weights room in a large cupboard open 10-12.30 & 2.30-6.30? If u want to explore the area and use these facilities at either end of the day, you simply can't. I had booked this through Booking.com- I queried the gym closure at the hotel as should be doing pre op physio on my knee so justified an expensive hotel- receptionist Patrizia told me that it had been on website for 5 months in a notice 5 inches tall- she must have a giant screen, I didn't see it. Even then when I queried it she didn't tell me the opening times- there was a single exercise bike outside this room overlooking the car park slip road- so when I went down at 630 one night was already closed. 2 steam rooms - neither worked when we went in a and saw no staff to query it with. Both jacuzzis un heated- of course, it's an Eco hotel. We were told that if we didn't exchange swimming towels for a token after swimming we would be charged for them, but towel booth closed at 7 and didn't reopen til 9, when we'd left, so had to take up to room and bring down with cases and present them at check out. All little things on their own but together a big waste of money. Very disappointed. Expect more when paying these prices- surely most people use gym before breakfast? Also no bikes for hire- is advertised as Eco- would be good idea- many hotels in area have them. View from room was car park.

Review 31：The pools offered a great time for our two young children. The indoor and outdoor pools were spectacular. Similarly, the breakfast was excellent- fresh pastries, juices, coffee, hot and cold items, breads...the best we've had in our two years traveling in Italy!

Review 39：Just returned from a 3 day break at the aqualux and it was just brilliant. Gorgeous hotel lovely friendly staff - treated to preseco on arrival thought this was a very nice touch indeed. I travelled with my mum and my sister and will definately be returning with my husband. The hotel is in a great location nice little 5 minute walk into bardolino town.

Review 42：Staff were helpful and efficient but not happy. Smiles and laughter where really seen or heard. The hotel is very functional has a total lack of welcoming warmth. Evidence of this is clear to see with the restaurant and bar very empty in the evenings and a quietness and stillness pervades the hotel. The hotel badly needs an injection of real Italian warmth and hospitaility to give it life and personality. Potentially a very good hotel but at present is overpriced and disappointing.

Review 43：The rooms were a reasonable size and well equipped and the airconditioning very effective. The gardens and pools were excellent and social areas more than adequate. Reception was efficient and helpful. Not surprisingly being a new hotel it was clean and looked well maintained. It is close to the wonderful centre of Bardolino.

Review 50：We arrived to this hotel only b/c of the thermal pools and were very disappointed to find out that ALL pools (even the small Jacuzzi) were heated only to 29 deg... that's cold!!! (all other thermal in the area are heated to about 35 deg...). also the pools were open only until 20:00 PM which really limited the possibility to use and relax after a long day touring Garda sites. could be much much better if those 'easy to fix things' would be changed !

Review 53：Our stay at Aqualux was a welcome reprieve during a highly scheduled holiday. The staff, facilities and location was second to none, and we loved the pools/spa's and particularly the whirlpool. It was our boys (10 and 12) favourite location on holiday!

The position is quite good, not in the very center of Bardolino but rather near to. Very peaceful and quite position. The staff is excellent, kind and respectful. I really advise this hotel to those how would like to take some relax and peace. The SPA is enormous and very nice. We have really enjoyed our staying there.

Review 121：This hotel is the best I have ever stayed in. We were greeted with a glass of prosecco on arrival and were upgraded to a suite as it was our 1st wedding anniversary. The suite had 2 bathrooms, a lounge, a full size hot tub and a kingsize circular bed. The breakfast was amazing with a vast array of choices. The pools and facilities were top class and everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Review 128：- staff at reception are exceptionally rude and really need to up there game. Have stayed in many good and also really basic hotels around the world but have never been treated in such a way. It started at check-in and didn't end well at check-out. They treat you like a nuisance rather than a paying customer. At arrival we were barely greeted by a rather annoyed looking lady and didn't feel welcome at all. Everybody has a bad day so we brushed it off as a one-off. But it looks like this lady had a bad week or is in general not particularly happy to work with people as she still treated us the same way at check-out. We were denied checking out and bringing down the 2nd key 10 mins later together with our luggage without any explanation. All she said was "no" with a cold stare. If you have a reason go and explain yourself as this is really not that exceptional. Strangely enough this was no problem for another guest as we witnessed later. Late check.out was also not possible despite the hotel clearly being half-empty.
