Reviews for Theodor Hotel

Review 1:Poorly indicated entrance - you have to climb to the 1st floor to discover the reception. Paid parking is a unguarded dirty garage on the other side of the block with a hyper rude guard. Bad insulation of windows, it gets noisy and windy the higher you stay.

Review 2:Clean, good breakfast.

Review 3:The hotel needs urgent renovation: watertemperature erratic, problem with the electricity, bathroom not up to standard anymore and I wish they would put in new locks on the door, since you can only close them with much noise...

Review 4:The location and especially the great view.

Review 5:Wi-Fi connection was poor.

Review 6:The room was cosy and clean, the view from the window was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of things to choose from. The staff is helpful and helpful.

Review 7:Pornographic Sculptures At Entrance Must Be Moved Out Of Sight from Children and Teens. הפסלים בכניסה לא בסדר

Review 8:We liked everything. The view, staff, service, reception was friendly and helpful. But the entryway art is just not kosher and must go.

Review 9:They treated my sister and I like family! The breakfasts were delish!

Review 10:Very expensive for what you got. Bad smell in the room which was eventually traced to mouldy towels under the sink

Review 11:Location was good and convenient

Review 12:Disgusting hotel. I left immediately. Didn't bother to ask formoney back.

Review 13:Front desk staff really friendly

Review 14:Staff was super helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was fair.

Review 15:PROBLEM WITH THE PARKING!!! THERE IS NO PLACE TO PARK!!

Review 16:NICE STUFF, CLEAN ROOMS, GOOD FOOD

Review 17:Rooms were run down, bed was uncomfortable and they charged us an outrageous $30 for a terrible breakfast.

Review 18:View from room

Review 19:We had no wi fi in our room. The sheets on the bed were too small and made sleeping uncomfortable. The breakfast was very poor.

Review 20:Good clean bedroom.Comfortable bed.Plenty hot water. Good views of Haifa from bedroom. Relaxing lounge area. Helpful Reception staff.

Review 21:Breakfast was nice. Many options yet average tasty.

Review 22:The desk managers were amazing in the way they were helpful to 2 Americans who wanted to be tourists in Haifa and Akko. Their patience and their kindness were greatly appreciated by my daughter and me.

Review 23:Uncomfortably cold room, very poor breakfast. For the charge they offer you expect better room with quality bed linen and nice breakfast. Instead you receive bed linen of poor quality, short douvet and horrible pillows. In the morning you are finally disappointed with the poor quality breakfast! Would not stay there second time.

Review 24:Location

Review 25:The windows is not clean on the outside which blocks some of the view

Review 26:Lovely place with books and pictures. Seems to be the only tall building in the area so the view is quite panorama.

Review 27:would be great of they had adjustable shower heads, and hair dryers for the women. All else excellent

Review 28:The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. And with Good english, which made the process for me who does speak hebrew so pleasant. Great location, a short drive to the german colony, which has great restaurants Short drive to all tourist spots

Review 29:Needs a better breakfast and juice instead of that cordial stuff.

Review 30:Very friendly staff. Original room shown was too small but another was made available

Review 31:there is no fridge in the room. cockroaches. very little tv channels. shower was broken.

Review 32:breakfast was good. range of dishes was good. stuff was polite and helpful.

Review 33:Noice in the room from ventilators which were impossible to swith-off. However is was not as loud to prevent you from having a good sleep in a comfortable bed

Review 34:Hotel is in a good location - Bahai gardens and German colony may be reached in 15 min by foot. Staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast meals are of a good quality althouth the range could be better (no meat in any form was offerred). There no realitically accesible free parking around, but there is an undergrounfd parking for 20 ILS a day. Room was clean with fantastic view.

Review 35:The bath tub in one room was very dangerous (nearly ended in injury). The shower in the other room - the water flooded over the floor. The rooms we received did not match the room we saw on the site (family suite - no such thing in the hotel - two rooms with connecting door)

Review 36:The receptionist was extremely kind and professional. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Review 37:Security wise I wish they had second lock on the room door. The towelswere always clean and smelling wonderful but are beginning to be alittle frayed.

Review 38:I loved the staff. The front desk persons; Farhan and Nir spoke Englishfluently and were a great help for all the questions we had. The hotelwas in a great location in the town and was right on a bus route. Therewere a multitude of stores nearby for shopping for fruit, candy, sodas, wine and beer. We stayed in room 1701 and the view of downtown and theport was amazing both day and night. They have 3 elevators in the hotelso you don't have to worry about walking up to the higher floors. There is a small safe in the room which you can program. We boughtbreakfast with the room and it was a great decision. Breakfast on theSabbath (Sat. Here) had different type pastries including my favoritewith a potato stuffing. The other days breakfast consisted of easy overeggs in a large pan, boiled eggs and two different types of quiche likemixtures. They have about 8 inch French bread rolls daily and some brownbreads also. Bread, butter and 1 jam also available. My favorite partwas the bowls of different types of cheeses they served daily. I got totry soft cheeses to hard cheeses daily. The soft cheeses tasted greatspread on the French rolls. Coffee and orange juice were also serveddaily. The breakfast is served buffet style so you can eat and drinkuntil you fill up. My husband has a difficult time trying new foods sohe would eat a large breakfast daily. I like my coffee so I had 3 cupsto start off each day. Hot water is also provided so you can bring yourown tea bags if you wish. Saturday had lots of families renting theparty rooms downstairs and I was fascinated by the families there. Thehotel was extremely clean & quiet in my room. Wi-Fi worked perfectlyeach day from my room. You do need a conversion plug for yourelectronics to recharge in the room. There is a tiny parking garageattached to the hotel in case you have a car rental. I would definitelystay here again and recommend it.

Review 39:1- The room does not have a fridge. A luxurious room without it.Strange. 2- The city map, they had just in russian and hebrew.

Review 40:1- Staff. Very helpful. 2- Accommodations. 3- Room size.

Review 41:It wasn't enough fruits for me on breakfast. And it was bad cleaning of my room. The beach is located far away the hotel.

Review 42:Friendly staff on reception. And interesting design.

Review 43:Nothing that I can remember of.

Review 44:Very close to one of the main shopping streets in Haifa. Friendly staff and fair quality breakfast. The room had AC with its own temperature regulator, which was good, and the curtains did a very good job blocking the light out. By the time I was there, they were repaving the street making way for a dedicated bus lane, so the surroundings were a big mess, but I consider this good, since travelers in the future will have better public transportation right at the hotel door!

Review 45:location in the middle of a long standing construction zone on hertzl street. breakfast NOT included.

Review 46:view from high floor. comfortable bed. friendly and helpful staff: Itzak.

Review 47:The aircon was noisy but there came immediately the service man and upon my request turned it off and fixed. Door poorly isolated and you can hear the noisy neighbours on the corridor sometimes.

Review 48:A decent hotel in teh very nice district of Haifa. Good, clean, nice views from the 10th floor. Wifi, etc. no major remarks. rooms tiny but comfortable.

Review 49:While the rooms and bedding were very clean, the breakfast area floordid not seem swept daily. We were always prompt for breakfast at 7 andthe floor was still with crumbs and spills from the day before.

Review 50:Theodor Hotel was good value for cost, a three star hotel with excellentbreakfast buffet. An open-air market is behind the hotel across thestreet and there are several small markets nearby with drinks andsnacks. The desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The decor is verynice, they clearly have tried to create an ambience.

Review 51:The entrance to the hotel is through a shopping center that it's filled with cigarette smoke. The double bed is actually two single beds with double bed's sheet. A cattle and two cups for coffee and tea were placed in the room but no coffee tea or sugar

Review 52:location of the hotel is great. The hotel was recently renovated and it looks nice

Review 53:Lobby is nice, but the rest of the hotel (rooms, elevators, hallways)feels a bit cheap, but proportionate with the relatively low rates.Bathroom was very small and not very well designed. There isperpetual construction on the street, and especially at night thenoise is a nuisance.

Review 54:This hotel is conveniently located in the commercial city centre andreasonably priced. Very good Israely-style breakfast with a variety offood. Staff is welcoming, friendly and useful. Excellent access topublic transportation and shopping. Free wifi throughout the hotel.

Review 55:Can not say any negative thing about it.

Review 56:Nice and clean hotel quite in the centre of Haifa, all things in walkingdistance. Even to the German Colony you can walk in about 20 minutes.Service-minded and helpful staff, good breakfast. Nice view to the bay(if you are lucky, minor skyscraper with 17 or 18 floors.
