Review 1：A bit hard to find the parking lot after hours. The instructions for the parking payments were in Hebrew only. Staff at the gym, which is a private club located and associated with the hotel is very unfriendly. Actually rude!!

Review 3：(see our rating of "Facilities") Regretfully, the parking arrangement is extremely bad. The garage is not owned by the hotel and one has to approach the hotel reception to receive a special permit. This arrangement is mentioned on a general instruction paper each guest receives, but parking is mentioned on the last line of this (very long) piece of paper. Consequently, we had to pay the full price. The hotel desk should provide each guest automatically with a (reduced price) parking permit.

Review 4：We received a very nice room, even with a kitchinette; in addition: fruits, chocolade; excellent bathroom.

Review 5：order for 2 rooms was made on my behalf, so the hotel received 2 separated orders, so in the beginning, we were in different floors. it was fixed once i spoke with management. could have been avoided...

Review 7：The hotel facilities and staff attitude are excellent. A highly pleasurable and comfortable stay in all aspects. Wifi signal very strong. Rooms clean with a beautiful view of the wonderful Haifa Bay.

Review 8：Got stuck in the elevator twice and had to sound the alarm! Smoke smell several times in the room and in the hall! An attendant comes and sprays our room with air freshener without getting our OK first and agrees he smells smoke! No real discussion about either of these 2 problems from management! Hair all over the floor and my wife requested to vacuum in our presence and hair didn't even come up due to poor vacuum! I complained of course as I should and they stated these issues/complaints only warranted coffee and cake! I stated you must do better than that like a half a night off and they finally settled for a dinner for 2!

Review 10：It was easy - check in/out; beds were super comfortable, staff was respectful and helpful with all questions I asked!! It was a great experience and I would stay there again without hesitation.

Review 11：The check in - check out time at booking.com is different from the hotels time. The check in time on Saturday is after 6:00 PM. They refuse to compensate the difference in time with a late check out which means the money paid at that time is not worth it. Staff is not helpful at all.

Review 13：The only issue we had was with check-in since it was Shabat. They weren't going to let us check-in until nighttime because someone was in our room and refused to leave until the end of Shabat. Since that was not acceptable with three small kids, we complained, and they moved us to a different room.

Review 25：We did not like the flow of the shower. It messes the bathroom floor. The reception staff did not speak good English and were not very helpful in either directions or suggestions are the city. Their knowledge of the surrounding area was limited, or it was most likely a language barrier. She checking out, no one from the hotel helped us with our luggage to the car. Most of the time only one elevator was working so we had to stop on every floor and the elevator was packed with people trying to reach the lobby.

Review 29：-The minibar was empty and the fridge was not working for some reason. - The taxis in front of the hotel might charge a lot of money if you don't pay attention to the taximeter. I found it not nice that the hotel allows this by allowing those taxis to wait there. It would be much better if they had a deal with a company, and the taxis come on request.

Review 31：The hotel needs a face lift. Our room was so dusty, my daughter was not feeling well for the 2 days we were there. She has allergies and the dusty room triggered her allergies. Good that we were staying there for 2 nights only. I remembered this hotel to be much, much better.

Review 37：Parking, no parking arranged bu hotel at all. Once arrived, somebody moved to pick up luggage and explained where to park after caming in front of desk. This stuff should be setted in a better way.

Review 41：I booked the highest room in the Hotel, the maintenance of the room is so bad. the walls are not clean. Toilets doesnt even have Perfume. The Hotel gets easily 4 stars but impossible to be a 5 Stars Hotel. I emailed the Hotel about my notes they never get back to me. disappointed.

Not good enough in a country where freshly squeezed juice is available even in the most basic street cafes.

Review 51：The hotel's structure, rooms, and overall facilities would notexceed any more than a 2 star rating. But somehow they advertise as a 5star hotel, and charge a very high price. The room I stayed in for 10nights was no different to a 2 star hotel's room just 50 meters downthe same road, where my friend stayed. And yet this hotel charges you 2xto 3x times more because they are supposedly a 5 star.Someone really really needs to review their rating and re-rate them accordingly to a 2 to 3 star at MOST, and most importantly please do not be fooled into thinking this is a high class luxury hotel. IT IS NOT. The lobby looks great, but other than that everything else resembles your average motel.

Review 59：We have got engaged at the day of the arrival. Due to the occasion the receptionist have upgraded our rooms to a executive room on the 18th floor with an AMAZING city and ocean view!! :)

Review 60：The pool closes too early in the evening for business trippers - so if you have had a busy day & want to relax in the evening then you do not have much time. Some of the bedroom fittings e.g. Radio, vanity unit and plug sockets are old and need updating.

Review 61：Stayed in the hotel for a business trip, I have used it before and it is located in a magnificent position (the clue is in the name) on mount Karmel overlooking Akko Bay. Staff are attentive and polite without being intrusive. I like the 70s feel of the hotel but my colleagues felt it was tired looking and could do with a facelift.

Review 64：Check in was quick and easy. Hotel staff provided us with an extended check out time (2pm) because our room was not reserved for another party that day. Check out was also quick and easy, and the individual who checked us out provided us with a discount stamp for parking. In addition, he offered to help us with our bags, which we didn't need. However, it was nice of him to offer.

Room service had prompt and courteous service, though it was not cheap and could have had a little more variety. The restaurant seemed to close a little earlier than I expected. Great access to panoramic walk. Didn't use the pool but it was available. Looked nice from floor 19. Overall great.
