Reviews for Villa Carmel Boutique Hotel
Review 1:The location is nothing special. Close to the Baha'i gardens and a beautiful view, but the hotel itself is in a very average location in the middle of the city There are only four parking spots. If its full you need to pay for your own parking
Review 2:Very comfy beds. Clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Had a great time with my wife on our anniversary.
Review 3:Everything, from the arrival to the departure, was grand. I especially appreciated vicinity of the restaurants, free car park and very, very reliable Wi-Fi.
Review 4:The staff are very friendly. The room was clean and quiet and spacious. The service at the breakfast was excellent and the breakfast itself was very good.
Review 5:Myself and my best friend were travelling through Israel booking twin rooms in various hotels with no issue. Check into this hotel to find they have given us a double bed and a child's cot in our room. We voiced our displeasure (they said they were fully booked etc and it is normal for them to turn a double room into a twin using a cot). Eventually they put one of us in another room free of charge. This was a nice way of resolving the situation however the second room had a faulty lock which I only happened to realise by chance. They gave me an actual key instead of a key card but this was a huge pain as even the cleaning staff left my room unlocked. When I questioned this with reception I was told 'This is a very safe hotel, you shouldn't worry'. Not quite the response I was hoping for tbh. I wouldn't recommend this hotel - there are plenty of other places to stay in Haifa that are cheaper and would offer you a proper twin room instead of having the neck to offer a cot.
Review 6:The beds were really comfortable. I had a massage with Agata in the hotel spa which was pure magic. She is amazing and I would highly recommend.
Review 7:Service at the front desk is excellent. The hotel is very clean, and the hotel's beds are comfortable. Haifa's Carmel district - Haifa's top tourist spot - is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
Review 8:The upkeep was simply bad. The faucet was hardly connected to the sink, almost unusable.. The Jacuzzi was filthy there was a ring of grim at some spots as large as a width of hand! The sauna door didn't close properly therefore not a very effective sauna. The decor of the room was awful but that is more a matter of taste. This is more a B&B not a hotel. Defiantly not a five star more a like a three star with upkeep issues.
Review 9:location, breakfast was excelent including great servers.
Review 10:The room is a bit too small
Review 11:The staff in the receiption desk was so excellent. Helped us even fix the car tyre issue. Warm-hearted. It really contributes to our positive impression on this country.
Review 12:Too cluttered. Breakfast on second day chaos and staff did not inform us until too late what was going on. Room small for price. Long way from centre No evening meals
Review 13:Reception staff very helpful
Review 14:The room was not clean! Loads of dust and other deposits... Overall feeling of a cheap motel even though we got the suite!
Review 15:The location was perfect, the facilities included a baby cot as we requested, complementary breakfast was very versatile and great

Review 34:the room, the dad, the facility in general
Review 35:they need better pillows
Review 36:The food was the most amazing!!!
Review 37:We stayed in the suite and it didn't have a balcony
Review 38:The staff were friendly
Review 39:Overall "tired" interiors, old towels, shower not great, cleaning services less than great
Review 40:Breakfast, spacious room, intimate setting of hotel
Review 41:Difficult to park. A bit pretentious. They have all kinds of kickbacks in the room but even though they had pot for hot water and vintage coffee cups with a vintage tea holder all they had was an assorted collection of sweeteners. When we asked for tea and coffee for the room we got loose instant coffee in a cup and a couple of tea bags . We stayed for 4 nights and it was never replenished and some times the dirty cups were just left there uncleaned. Also the over all lighting was poor and it was very difficult to put makeup on.
Review 42:I liked the location- the center of the Carmel - and the staff was polite and pleasant. The breakfast was also nice.
Review 43:The noise that came from one of the bars in the beach across our room. I think the hotels with the bars on the beach should have a campaign to keep the beach clean!! USE GARBAGE CANS!! Bring your garbage home! It is time for us to wake up and not destroy our natural resources. The businesses that are using nature for its benefit should be responsible to pass this message very clearly. Than you for your attention.
Review 44:Friendliness. Proximity to the beach. Cleanliness. Comfort. Breakfast. Shabbat Dinner.
Review 45:Parking was a bit limited and sometimes 2 cars parked behind you, so complex to get out.
Review 46:Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, location was superb, fantastic breakfast.
Review 47:Room was very noisy until 11:00 because of its proximity to the restaurant.
Review 48:Quiet location, lush landscaping, beautifully restored old hotel, great restaurant.
Review 49:The housekeeping wasn't very good - in the evening there was no hot water in the shower/bath, and we were told that it won't be fixed soon.At least in the morning it was back. This is below the expected from 5 star hotel that charges accordingly. There was no coffee in the room - only some strange herbal tea.
Review 50:Excellent location, nice and helpful staff, comfortable parking. The suite was comfortable and nicely designed, though the massage bath in the room was quite small (suits one thin person). Very pleasant restaurant. Breakfast was good and nicely served.
Review 51:This place is fantastic. Extremely friendly staff, excellent restaurant, very peaceful surroundings. Breakfast is served every morning in the garden patio. I was here on business, but I wish that I would have brought my wife with me.
Review 52:Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We asked where we could buy somefruit, and they brought us delicious watermelon from the kitchen. Thegarden location for the Israeli breakfast (a great spread) is reallypretty and peaceful. Nice park across the street from the hotel with agood cafe, too.
Review 53:Our room was located right above the restaurant, which was packed and loud until late at night.
Review 54:Very nicely designed room in a quiet side street but still close to Haifa's main attractions. Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, clean room.
Review 55:In a suite room it was a bit too noisy from outside - air condition, roof spa or sth similar
Review 56:Beautifully designed rooms, big bathroom, good breakfast served till 12!

Review 58:The resturant, breakfast and dinner was very good. The staff was very polite.
