Reviews for Villaggio Nurral
Review 1:Shame no beach on site. Under flight path.
Review 2:Accomodation was as described, could be quite hot in summer though and can hear neighbours quite clearly at night. Reasonable location but a drive away from most restaurants and beaches.
Review 3:Mosquitoes, bring something that works. Some of the campsite is in poor condition and planes fly over maybe 5 times a day, but not at night. These things didn't bother us though. Gas on the portable gas stove runs out quick if you don't use it sparingly, but you can buy more on site.
Review 4:Stayed in a bungalow for 22 nights. It was cheap, very basic, and clean. We walked everywhere. Got quick supplies from Fertilias little shop. Did most shopping in Lidl in Alghero where things are cheaper. In the area there are big and small beaches, snorkelling, car/bike/boat hire, forest and mountain walks, restaurants, ancient ruins and great landscape.
Review 5:I have to kill a mouse.
Review 6:Termin in september, camp was empty, we were 2 in mobile house for 4 people, enough of space. Market is 500m near, we rent bicicle and drowe aroud lake an to diferent beaches. Beaches were nice, not overcrouded (end of season). Good weather.
Review 7:Mobile home too old and oven not working The area was not nice in general and the neighbour was an very old and vanish mobile home. Looked like something from trailer trash park.
Review 8:Nice staff
Review 9:No towels, no soap.
Review 10:Close to Alghero airport and to the sea. The small city of Fertilia is very nice. The room was ok for one night. Good water pressure at the showers. Helpful personnel.
Review 11:A little too basic. Towels for rent in a bungalow and no soap in the bathroom... It is like camping, not in a tent, with the comforts of a bungalow.
Review 12:The silence and the nature. Being quite basic, you can really detach from daily frenzy an just enjoy peace. Personnel is very friendly and gave the best advises according to our needs. A very friendly camping site.
Review 13:We stayed two nights, the bin wasn't emptied the second day and no one told us whether we should take the trash somewhere. Maybe there was a camping rule we missed. No towels or toiletries were provided and for the price we paid, I think they should have been included.
Review 14:The staff were very friendly and gave us a lot of tips! We stayed in a bungalow and there was a table outside under the pine trees, great for a bit of relaxing! If you have a car, all the nice beaches are very close. Wi-fi was available only in the common areas. There was free billiard and table tennis!
Review 15:Location is not so bad very close to the airport (they organize pick up for 10 euro)and not so far from alghero city (pleasant run or 7min by car). Overall price is correct and fair
Review 16:Didn't want to play foot- or volleyball but those areas need a fix up.
Review 17:Amazing staff, always willing to help (Thank you for arranging the boat trip!). Outstanding cocktails! Try Daniele's Gin Strawberry
Review 18:Biliard table needs some reparation. Mosquitoes are very patient - will get you ;) Beds are quite mellow.
Review 19:Place is very calm and clean, stuff is friendly and welcoming, position of camp is OK, few nice wild-beaches in walking distance - ask on reception how to find it. I would recommend to any who does not need hotel services and likes to interact with other accomodate people.
Review 20:table tennis and table football - we loved playing it, mobile home had everything you needed, 10 minutes walk to the little shop in the village, the restaurants, ice cream and beach :-)
Review 21:Staff are excellent! Don't come here expecting HD televisions in each room. This is basic accomodation. This was my second visit, each time I've visited my room is very clean, bed is great, own clean shower and WC. Own fridge, that's handy.Happy.
Review 22:Close to the airport, wi-fi at the lobby. Very good small houses with its own kitchen and toilet/shower. The stuff helped us to print out the boarding pass.
Review 23:The restaurants in Greece have more variety of food but thats just nit picking.
Review 24:Bungalows are great value accommodation. Hired cycles for the week and tried different beaches and restaurants every day.
Review 25:Camping site needs a bit of tlc. Lots of old broken caravans on site, cheaper than other places but a little bit scruffy at the edges.
Review 26:Staff very friendly and helpful Property was very clean inside and beds were nice and firm. Free WiFi was handy.
Review 27:I liked that the place was clean, the bungalow had a very large bed, the proximity and ease of access to the Alghero airport and the bus station, the frendly staff.
Review 28:Dependency of bus to go to Alghero
Review 29:-Beautiful camping (nature) -Nice staff. They do a lot for you -A clean bungalow -Good facilities like a BBQ, outside cooking en possibility to to a dish wash
Review 30:Range of wifi signal doesn't cover bungalovs. There are loud dancing events for old people almost every night.
Review 31:The place was very clean. You can get to Fertilia by 10min walk.
Review 32:no bottle openers or corkscrew in the hut
Review 33:very friendly staff and very keen to help out whenever needed. very comfortable and nice huts perfect for young couples or a group of friends
Review 34:Some parts of the camping are a bit rundown.
Review 35:The girl from the reception was working unbelievable long shifts and doing everything (bar, reception, serving food, showing the guests around) but still very friendly, nice and helpful all the time - she made our stay, just two nights, very pleasant. The bungalows - under the pine trees, by far the best part of the camping - are small and not very luxurious, but really worth the money with good beds, a shower, fridge, table outside and little cooking facility (kitchen is not the right word). Overall good value!
Review 36:The kitchenette is actually just a small gas burner, the path to the city is neglected, weird breakfast, the closest beaches are not very nice
Review 37:Restaurants in the vicinity, sitting area in front of the bungalow
Review 38:Me and my gf stayed at Villaggio Nurral our last night since we wanted accomodation close to the airport as we were about to leave the day after. We had a very nice welcome by a member of the staff, who was really helpful, for example pointing out the most beautiful nearby beaches. The facilities were fine, and in general nothing to complain about.
Review 39:when leaving at 5 am, there were a lots of wild dogs outside, which was not really pleasant. also the bungalow didn't have any windows.
Review 40:we've came late in the night and left early in the morning, but the staff was still extremely helpful. the place is nice for a camp, it seemed to have a lots of facilities and a good vibe of hippie times.
Review 41:really poor breakfast
Review 42:not so far to airport
Review 43:Friendly, helpful and easygoing staff, lovely garden, great location, privacy.
Review 44:Very close to the airport witch was the most important thing for us
Review 45:"Noisy" beds, older furniture in mobile home
Review 46:helpfully and funny staff, free biliard and table tennis.
Review 47:"noisy" floor and furniture on older Mobile home
Review 48:fres table tennis, biliard, etc.
Review 49:No AC in bungallows
Review 50:Staff
Review 51:beautiful nature friendly neighbours relaxing environment
Review 52:Bungalows are basic , but god dvalue for money, nice staff, not bad location
Review 53:Anna and Daniel were, friendly, helpful and always available. Outdoor meals watching the jays, woodpeckers and lizards.
Review 54:Far from seaside.
Review 55:Frendly staf.
Review 56:Place of bungalow
Review 57:Untidy , shabby grounds very basic facilities uncomfortable bed
Review 58:Friendly staff convenient for airport cheap
Review 59:The camping was quite old and no enought facilites
Review 60:Great staff, beautiful location
Review 61:Bungalow in a very poor condition,no windows, dirty, very poor breakfast.
Review 62:Not far away from the beach and Alghero is easily reached by bus.
Review 63:nature around everything at disposal lots of space calm
Review 64:The staff doesn't speak much English.
Review 65:For the price it's great: comfy bed, good shower, fridge and shady outdoor table. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You need to take buses to get to Alghero and the nicer beaches. I recommend hiring a bike to go to Bombardi beach in the other direction which is better for snorkelling. However, the bikes are badly maintained (the chain fell off two different bikes I hired) and a bit expensive at 10 euros a day. Though the bungalows could get a little stuffy during the day, at night in early June with the ceiling fan on they were just the right temperature. It might get a bit too hot in the height of summer though.
Review 66:The hospitality of the staff was amazing!!! Staying @ Nurral Bungalow gives you the feeling of camping, but without the inconveniences of it. Love the smell of the woods blended with the smell of the sea! Very good italian food @ the restaurant. Breakfast was perfect. Nearby beautiful beaches. You can walk to Alghero which is a very nice beach walk. But there is also a bus going every hour close to the campsite, also to the airport.
Review 67:I can't really say I didn't like anything and I'm surprised about any poor reviews I have seen about this place. If you have a problem and aren't too shy to tell them about it, I'm sure they would do anything they can to fix it right away. Like I said, it seems like one big family running this place and they are super helpful should you need anything. Come by this campground if you are looking for a budget place or if you like cooking on a propane stove and enjoying the outdoor pleasures of life.
Review 68:The staff working here (I'm guessing is one big family or at least they appear to be) are extremely pleasant and very helpful. Their English is not the best but it's good enough and it's fun to interact with them. There is a restaurant which has amazing food, don't be intimidated by the Italian guy with the deep voice, he is actually extremely friendly and takes very good care. On the weekends they have some type of big event where all of these Italian people come in and do huge dinners and dance events, it's pretty unreal if you're looking for a surreal Italian experience. As far as "camping" is concerned and for the price, it far exceeds what I would normally expect from a campground. The bungalows are full suites and have more space than you could ask for. There are ping pong tables, pool table, nice common area with wifi, all the fixins. Overall I would recommend staying here if you are in alghero, it's closer to the lesser known beaches and off the main tourist track if you like that kind of things.
Review 69:- Last time i paid for something like this in azerbaijan , but hotel there was just for drivers to overnight and for 3€ per night. - it was once a nice camp, but for last couple of decades it is waiting for rebirth. - walking link to Fertilia should be dane.
Review 70:- God place to grill.
Review 71:Good location for walks along the coast and seeing countryside and wildlife; friendly staff; nice bungalows with good beds and showers; enjoyed drinks and breakfasts at the bar; my son enjoyed the table tennis immensely ....
Review 72:Bright lights at night kept me up, and the bed creeked whenever I moved.
Review 73:Location is close to Alghero. Roomy bungalow. The water was really hot and plentiful, very nice.
Review 74:First of all, the staff was very kind, helpful and welcoming during our 3 day visit. The bungalow in which we stayed, exceeded my expectation for comfort, privacy, and was set-up quite well with the bare necessities needed for living. (Be sure to request one of the brown style of bungalows), as they seem much nicer and comfortable then the white.
Review 75:Cooking equipment was poor. We had no spoons or sharp knives, only one camping stove so cooking is very basic.
Review 76:Close to Alghero, nice atmosphere, good value for money
Review 77:there is nothing to say I didn't like.
Review 78:I liked the location, very good price for bungalow, very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food, very good services throughout, the best place for all activities like cycling, trekking, beach and swimming, visiting historical places, relaxing under the pines, making barbecue, shopping in Alghero known for red corals, enjoying watching dolphins and much more.Simply put,the best place you can choose if you like nature and not these luxury boring hotels...
Review 79:The path to go from Fertilia to the camping has no lights, not great when walking home late at night.
Review 80:Very friendly place and very nice staff. They tried their best to speak english which was much appreciated
Review 81:The bungalows are horrible concrete boxes, with barely no windows; the floor was dirty, the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable; the shower on our first stay was broken and flooded the bathroom (no such problem on the second stay). The camping site is old and worn, in need of some cleaning and fixing. We stayed there twice on our trip because it was by far the cheapest place to stay around Alghero - should they make some improvements I would say it's a place with a great price/quality ratio.
Review 82:The staff is nice (the owner does not speak English, but some of the staff does) and helpful. The restaurant food is good. Close to the airport and near a bus stop that can take you to Alghero (you can walk to the village of Fertilia, which has a supermarket), also close to the best beaches in Alghero (you can rent a bike at the camping site). Foosball and ping-pong tables!
Review 83:If you are into perfect conditions and perfect cleanliness and perfect English, then you may want to pay more, somewhere else.
Review 84:Friendly, cozy place. Nice rooms and outside area, easily accessible. Fridge in room, great showers, a little outdoor gas stove and some kitchenware. Helpful people, tasty (and abundance of) food. Perfect place for low-budget, backpackers, and others who are not too fuzzy about external perfection when there is a heart within.
Review 85:There needs to be more lighting on the roads in the camp. Coming back at night was a little scary.
Review 86:The staff was really friendly and helpful. It was really peaceful and just what was needed for a relaxing holiday.
Review 87:The staff is friendly and they have experience with people all around the world. The place is fair for the price you pay. Many activities and everything is near.
Review 88:kitchenette rather small but sufficient for simple cooking, sitting outside miss an umbrella to protect from sun
Review 89:reasonable accommodation for the price, beautiful La bombarde beach a short cycle ride away, peaceful and clean, nice staff, although not speaking much English :)
Review 90:We arrived at camping Nurral after spending 4 days of intense sightseeing in Rome. Our goal was to have some relaxing days at the nearby beaches and do some small trips along the coast line, with as less trouble as possible. The staff at the camping we're very friendly and helpful to us to reach that goal. They provided us maps and tips for nearby visits, made reservations for us to take the bus, and even gave us a lift back to the airport so we didn't have to worry about anything during our stay at the camping. On saturday there is also some sort of ballroom dance which was a really fun surprise. I would recommend this camping to anyone who is looking to have a care-free visit to Alghero neighbourhood. Also, there is a supermarket, a bank, pharmacy and postal office in the nearby town at 500m walking distance.
Review 91:i had a wunderfull time at Villaggio Nurral, I liked everything!
Review 92:the staff was great, very helpfull and friendly. Also the location was beautiful, we had a sort of bungalow in the middle of the forest and very close to the sea, it was 5 minutes walking. The services from the camping was amazing!
Review 93:Very relaxed place - staff were lovely. Accommodation was fine, basic but perfect for the price, supermarket nearby. We hired bikes close by and cycled everywhere - close to beaches and the old town.
Review 94:Bungalow was not as describe on the photo. Around the bungalow, not was"clean". Toilet do not have any ventilation, or window, so onthe night it was stinking all bungalow. There is not any kitchen as wasdescribe it, there is one little gas "thing" outside ofbungalow, and one plastic table whit chairs outside. Garbage place wasfull always, and stinking. Place is located about 100 meter from a campof Romanian.
Review 95:The city was beautiful.
Review 96:The staff was so so nice. They picked us up at the airport and drove us back. We ate there a couple of times and the food was always great. Angelo is a great cook and a really nice guy. They were keen on helping us with directions and things to do in Alghero. The bungalow was also nice and we had a fridge there. There were parties and dancing at the reception bulding but it was quiet in the area of where the bungalows were. We had a nice time there and we would definitely stay at Villaggio Nurral again, if we will have the chance!
Review 97:Buses not very regular.
Review 98:Only a short bus ride to city centre, would be ideal if we had a car. Only 1 euro to the city centre. Very clean and comfortable, owners could not speak English well but were still very helpful. Free pickup from airport very much appreciated. Ideal for backpackers.
Review 99:Hot water wasn't always available in the evenings... maybe it was just our bungalow not all.
Review 100:Staff very friendly. Free pool, table football. The place is located in the nature, very calm and relaxing. Bungalows are spacious and well shadowed so you won't feel the hot summer's heat inside the bungalow. Bicycle rental available in first roundabout 3 mins away. Beach is 10 mins walk.
Review 101:Firstly, there is no free shuttle bus. They charge 10 euro for thisservice. You also have put that the rooms have a kitchenette. Wedidn't in the bungalow all we had was a small fridge. No one spokeany amount of English and it was painful to try to communicate what weneeded or wanted. Their website shows an English option, and whilst I amnot trying to demand amazing English from them, I would expect a smallamount to easily check in. Unfortunately we didn't have a phrasebook to help. I just feel having things written in English on theirwebsite is misleading that there is somebody there who has a small graspof the language.
Review 102:The location was fine as it was near the airport and was just a bus rideinto Alghero
Review 103:To reach Fertilia a busy road for about 250m has to be used. The ownersof Villaggio Nurral basically don't care about constructing adecent path on the camping ground which could be used by pedestriansand cyclists. The bungalows at Villaggio Nurral are a bit shocking whenyou see them for the first time. It are basically bunkers with smallwindows and no a/C. If you need a little comfort this would not bethe right place.
Review 104:The location of Villaggio Nurral is pretty good situated between Algheroon one side and beach bombardia, Neptunes Grotto, Diving center, etc onthe other side (all within 3-4 km). Fertilia is at walking distance fromthe camping and has a reasonable supermarket.
Review 105:You get what you pay... and much more. Los españoles son especialmente recibidos. If again in Calgary, I wouldn't find a better place to stay. the 6 km way to the city, trough pines at the sea shore is simply... delicious!
Review 106:The position and the staff was amazing. A perfect place in a forest and walking distance to a lake and a beautiful sea. Made a walk along the beach from Fertilia to Alghero . Superb
Review 107:the owner and people who worked there were so friendly and very helpfull.. mi casa su casa ... very nice surrounding in the pinewoods, near the lake... to be continued for sure !!!
Review 108:Very small boongalow
Review 109:There are a lot of pin trees in the site, so there is a very nice pin fragrance
Review 110:Daniele Salvatore and the other guys are simply fantastic!!
Review 111:Great staff!!!! They were very helpful and nice
Review 112:poor accommodation
Review 113:Really nice staff, accommodation near airport
Review 114:No free towels
Review 115:Highly recommended.. Very nice stuff.
Review 116:- NO hot water (!!!) - NO heating - extremely humid - NO toiletries
Review 117:close to the airport
Review 118:no hot water in the shower
Review 119:Perfect location, lake 2 min and sea 7 min. Nice bungalo. Alghero is 10 min by bus, 1 eur per ticket.
Review 120:Everything.
Review 121:very good price nice staff
