Review 1：Wifi poor but Dimitri explained the problems he had and is trying to fix the problem
Review 2：Dimitri the owner, was friendly and very helpful. Recomended an excellant resteraunt, Filoti, which serves great food at good value. Hotel location right in town with good views of the harbour.
Review 3：In spite of the information provided on the booking page, there is NO parking, not even street parking. The hotel is located in a really small and tricky alley of Ayios Kirykos, where one could not park without blocking the traffic. The moment we arrived we were "greeted" by a rude senior citizen - obviously the boss -, who was also the only member of the hotel staff, yelling at us that we cannot park anywhere around the hotel. To make a long story short, you have to walk uphill under the burning sun in order to reach the hotel. The facilities need extensive renovations; questionable cleanness; staff rudeness. Stay away from this if you can.

Review 5：The room was quite small, with a small balcony, but the view across town and the harbour was fantastic. Pool is small but was clean. The hotel has seen better days but is very good value in a town with few options.
Review 6：I stayed at the Kastro Hotel in early July. I arrived from Samos later than expected and not only was I warmly welcomed, but I was given an even nicer room. Dimitri, the owner/manager of the hotel made me greek coffee each morning, and made reccomendations of places I could eat, explore and other points of interest on the island. The wifi was always working, and offered consistant and decent upload/download speeds. The hotel is right in Aigos Kirikos, just up a few flights of stairs, but within walking distance from the ferry terminal, and offering great views of the port and surrounding landscape. In the mornings and evenings it was a pleasure watching the clouds roll over the mountains from the balcony of my room. The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels changed daily. The interior is modest but well maintained and clean. The room had working/powerful AC, but the breeze from the Agean Sea, and Ikaria's legendary winds made it an unecessary luxury. This is a great value and an overall perfect place for a single traveller or friends on holiday.
