Reviews for Hotel Exclusive
Review 1:We stayed here for one night. Parking was fantastic - Agrigento train station is just across the road, with lots of spaces available, and the front desk will give you a free parking pass. The welcome fruit platter on arrival was wonderful and refreshing. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room had a lovely view of the archaeological ruins and the ocean beyond. Some of the spaces in the hotel are small, although it has been designed well and the use of mirrors creates the illusion of space. Would definitely recommend.
Review 2:Quite small rooms, but it's okay.
Review 3:Very stylish, modern rooms. Located next to center, trainstation. View to temples, because city is on a hill. Public guarded parking for few Euros/night nearby.
Review 4:Very clean, stylish, if not very big room with great shower and good view over the valley down to the sea. Extremely helpful staff. Central location (next to the station) and good parking nearby. Ideal for our brief visit to see the temples.
Review 5:The room was a little small.
Review 6:The staff, especially Salvina, were excellent and looked after all our needs, including taking our luggage up to the room while we parked the car in a convenient spot near by. Also, our room had a view over the valley of the temples which was great at night.
Review 7:Only issue was our room was not ready when we arrived at about 4.30pm. But this was turned into a positive. The brilliant lady on reception gave us a seat, cup of tea , explained the area and showed a DVD of the temples. No problem!
Review 8:Perfect place to stay for a trip to Valley of the temples. Brilliant staff, breakfast etc etc
Review 9:the rooms were not similar... ıf somebody has given 4 stars for this hotel, he must be surly drunk. even 3 star is too much. the people feel realy cheated
Review 10:Very pleasant staff. View of Valley of Temples from balcony. Quiet but near station and car parking (payment reasonable). Restaurants a short walk away
Review 11:Nothing!
Review 12:Reception was delightful and very helpful! Answered all our questions, gave directions to local restaurants and delivered a fruit plate for us to enjoy!
Review 13:The woman is very friendly and welcomed us with a plate of fruit! She explained us everything in detail about the city and how to get the interesting points, like Scala dei Turchi, awesome place, it is 15 mins by car. The room was so clean, bed was confortable, bathroom with many amenities and bath robes! Wifi was good. Breakfast was good. There's a terrace in the top of the building where you can enjoy the view of the sea. There's private parking for 4 euros per day. We would come back for sure!
Review 14:Overall it was a very good experience. The bathroom, while very modern and new, was very small.
Review 15:The room was not large, but the space was very intelligently designed. I was impressed with the use of every available space and corner in the room.
Review 16:The room was too compact with an awkward orientation. It was too modern of a set up for my taste. Overall the stay was fine. The staff made it worthwhile.
Review 17:The front desk and reception personnel specifically Sylvana (recollection of her name may be off) was fantastic. She was part of the evening shift and truly made the hotel experience memorable. Very professional.
Review 18:everything was perfect would raccomand
Review 19:The staff was wonderful very accommodating and attentive helpful Salvina was great helped with reservation to a great restaurant
Review 20:Room was a bit tiny. No adaptor available for UK or US plugs. Noise from neighboring room playing TV games until 4 a.m.
Review 21:Good location. Good parking arrangement with neighboring railway station. Friendly staff.
Review 22:The hotel is located on an unattractive commercial street behind the railroad station. The rooms are very small, no desk, no furniture at all, only a single bench, otherwise you have to sit on the bead. Overall, it was very tight and uncomfortable. My laptop could not attach to their internet router due to some incomprehensible incompatibility, a problem that I've never had anywhere else. Breakfasts are minimal, less good than in an average 3 star hotel. This is not a real 4 star hotel in my opinion.
Review 23:The staff was friendly and helpful
Review 24:Rooms are tiny. Not for those who like a lot of space to relax.
Review 25:Location is great for walking around town and it's a 5 minute ride to the Valley of Temples. Staff is very nice.
Review 26:I liked everything.
Review 27:Great location. Easy to park just across the street at the rail station. It's safe although you see lots of graffiti in the area. The room was small but perfect for a few nights. There is no Closet or drawers so just be prepared for that if matters to you. We did not care. The bathroom and shower was excellent and modern. Breakfast was basic but very good.
Review 28:Decor in room (purple especially)
Review 29:Staff friendliness and helpfulness, especially the young woman at reception when we arrived after great difficulty finding the hotel.
Review 30:Not the easiest place to find. My satnav had a tough time.
Review 31:I loved this place. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Parking no problem as they have a deal with the car park just across the road. Just 4€ a day. Liked the room I had - all white and something different to all the others.
Review 32:There are only 8 rooms. The staff treated us like royalty. We were celebrating our 0th Wedding Anniversary and we were greeted eith wine and snacks served by a staff member. I mentioned that I really don't drink and 10 minutes after we were back in our room there was a knock on the door and the gentleman from the concierge came in with a huge silver covered tray with sliced pineapple and oranges . That was such a lovely , caring, treat. I love the black and white decor, so well done. The Spanish marble floor is stunning. I also Ioved the terry robes.
Review 33:Small dining area with no real bar facilities
Review 34:Only 5 minutes walk from main streets of Agrigento with views towards sea and even glimpses of the Valley of Temples. Good value parking next to hotel. Staff extremely helpful.
Review 35:-room is very small
Review 36:-the location. one minute walk to the rail station and so where the bus for the valley leaves -the view. most room has view over the plain from the foot of this hill top town to the sea, includes the temples
Review 37:The staff speaks little english (but that is common is southern Europe).
Review 38:Wifi access was very good, there is a (paid 3€ a day) parking right across the street, breakfast was good. The room was modern and when we arrived a plate with fresh fruit was brought to our room. Very close to the valley of temples
Review 39:The beds are very firm.
Review 40:The staff was very friendly, the rooms are beautiful and the hotel is very clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good as well!
Review 41:Breakfast could be improved, add option for eggs or other hot food.
Review 42:Location close yo railway station and many restuarants Modern rooms, excellent fitout Great personalised service with little touches like free glass of wine and nibbles each evening
Review 43:A bit difficult to find, even with GPS. Tiny parking in front that we completely missed. Room was very small, no chair so sat on the bed for everything. Parking available nearby but not free. Boutique hotel with lots of mirror, chrome & marble; nice but not my preference. Tiny dining area had TV on with continuous out-of-date MTV American music videos, which I found a bit annoying.
Review 44:Friendly, helpful staff who treated us with a platter of fruit delivered to the room upon arrival and then wine & snacks in the dining area before we left for dinner. Exceptional customer service! Room was clean, although small. Good wifi in room. Located within easy walking distance of downtown amenities (restaurants, post office, train station) & old town center.
Review 45:Very stylish room and bathroom - glass encased shower and deep tub Welcoming fruit and cake platter was appreciated as well as predinner wine and snacks. Flavio deserves special mention!
Review 46:We had the large room with the round bed & shower. The glass door to the bathroom serves no privacy purpose & is in the way.
Review 47:Easy access to everything, free parking, excellent service
Review 48:I think our experience was marred by our room which was small and felt like a cell
Review 49:The location is good and hotel is near old town with easy access to valley of temples
Review 50:The town is a little too dark at night, so we got a little scared. But the staff told us it was really safe, and the good location and proximity of the hotel helped a lot! Absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel.
Review 51:The staff was unbelievably amazing! Fabio was so kind, giving us all the best tips in town, talking to us in Portuguese, and making us feel like we were at home. Breakfast was also very nice, with wide variety of fresh breads and sweets. We had the best stay there.
Review 52:Nothing
Review 53:The front of house staff were very helpful and friendly, easily switching to English when my Italian was struggling. Special thanks to the gentleman who's name we did not get, but ensured we had a great selection of snacks with our complimentary drink, even though carrying the tray was a challenge due to his injured leg and he could not use his crutch. We hope the operation is a success
Review 54:Doors are not sound proofed, could hear anyone in the hallway. Some noise from the surrounding roads.
Review 55:front desk manned all night, despite only having a few rooms. although not large, the rooms were well appointed in a modern styling. parking was cheap, only 4 euros in the station car park 100 yards away, as a hotel deal. We were brought a plate of fresh fruit after checking in. There is a lovely roof terrace, which gives you a distant view of the Valley of Temples, which are lit at night. Our room also overlooked the Temples, although balconcy too small to have a table with the chairs. Hotel is located only a short walk from the town centre, and a simple drive down to the Valley of Temples.
Review 56:A bit expensive cf other centres.
Review 57:The hotel is very chique and the staff particularly helpful. Specifically Fabio was fantastic in introducing us to local contexts and delights. He was very helpful
Review 58:The bed was too soft for me but probably ok for others.
Review 59:This tiny hotel has views over The Valley of The Temples but is in a central position in Agrigento. It is clean and chic and the staff helpful and happy to bring coffee, fresh fruit or cakes up to the room at no extra cost.
Review 60:Parking is a bit hard to find, 2 rounds the city with the NAV each time. Just a bit hard to find but worth it.
Review 61:Fabbio is very helpful and thoughtful with good restaurant recommendations. The hotel is a small 7 Room gem. Big enough and efficient. Very clean and for us quite
Review 62:Slight down side, just a little out of the main street of Agrigento so a little walk (uphill) required to access restaurants and shopping.
Review 63:welcoming staff, very clean, neat and comfortable.
Review 64:A little bit noisy when other guest are entering their rooms at the same level.
Review 65:Walking distance to old town of Agrigento. 5 Minute drive to the Valley of temples. Very helpful and friendly staff. Compact but comfortable and efficient rooms.
Review 66:Uncomfortable room. No chair. No extra pillows. No tissues, etc. Terrible views of graffiti everywhere obscured view of sea. Location was a little frightening.
Review 67:Beautiful decor
Review 68:Enjoyed every element of our stay in the hotel. Great location, compact room however well equipped. Great welcome and service by Fabio in the reception. Great breakfast. Highly recommended for a stay in Agrigento and the vicinity
Review 69:The bread at breakfast wasn't great but otherwise, all was excellent, including that all important first cup of coffee.
Review 70:This little hotel is a gem. Though small, it makes the most of its space with modern interiors and ingenious design throughout. The staff could not have been friendlier; and the recommendation for dinner was excellent; breakfast was good too. We loved everything about it.
Review 71:Small balcony, very high with lowish rails. Round bed Overlooking the station Tiny breakfast room
Review 72:The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value. The bathroom facilities really good. Parking close by. Close walk into main area. Very clean. Roof access.
Review 73:The entry foyer was dated !!
Review 74:The staff and location where second to none the entry foyer could do with a bit of updating rooms older style but comfortable and clean
Review 75:Bathroom was rather cramped. Breakfast was typically Italian which we are not particularly keen on, but when in Italy....
Review 76:Reception staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The room was fine with a balcony giving a view to the sea. Location of the hotel just next to the railway station was superb for us. Shower was good.
Review 77:Breakfast: satisfying, but not splendid, the cakes were dry and always the same, the fruits looked old,
Review 78:Melon as a welcoming-present, the staff was friendly, the parking was near the hotel and cheap (4€ per day), the rooms were clean
Review 79:The hotel really doesn't look like anything special from the outside, don't be fooled it looks great on the inside. Very clean, very nice rooms, we had a room with a big round bed and a huge deep round bathtub with a rain shower, we loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great central location, walkable to main area of restaurants,etc...
Review 80:The service at the Hotel Exclusive was fantastic, they helped us plan what to do during our stay, things to see and places to eat. They welcomed us with complimentary drinks and snacks each night.
Review 81:We really struggled to find the hotel. More directional information would have been helpful.
Review 82:The staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The room was much more than we expected, also the wine offering in the evening was a delightful surprise. Fabio gave us a great recommendation for a family run restaurant we we thoroughly enjoyed, very special.
