Reviews for Ardmullen

Review 1:Spacious and comfortable houses. Brought a toddler and bedrail, highchair etc were provided. Good quality bedding and towels. Fully equipped kitchen. The only thing lacking was a hairdryer.

Review 2:A few DVDs & board games would have been a nice touch :))

Review 3:Quite 'hassle free' process. Very accommodating to minor booking changes. AMAZING beds :)). Beautiful area.....

Review 4:Bulbs gone in sitting room and bedroom, sink in upper ensuite blocked. Blind in ensuite is actually rotten with water from shower, needs replacing. Indoor boiler very strong smell when oil on should be checked out. Need extra towels.

Review 5:Very modern house. Plenty of space. Good location. Comfortable.

Review 6:Charges for electricity and heating fuel were higher than anticipated. This was probably contributed to by inexperience in using central heating and setting the timer switches appropriately. More detailed notes with suggested settings may have assisted with this. (Personally I found the odour of kerosene in the laundry a little overpowering.) None of this is a deal-breaker however as they are excellent apartments.

Review 7:Well appointed apartment, quite new, with all amenities. Easy access to the town and walking distance to the local. Very comfortable for a short or long stay, with wi-fi included. Lovely views.

Review 8:Dishes, knives, pots, pans, etc. are minimal and chipped or dented while linens are worn thin. It looked like the place is run on a shoestring.

Review 9:A family of 5 adults - Ardmullen provided easy access to the Kerry, Dingle and Beara peninsulas. The accommodation is very spacious and clean. Furnishings are basic and mattresses are comfortable. However, if you are not looking for luxury, we would recommend this place on the strength of its location and value proposition.

Review 10:The beds are terrible! Both double beds and one of the twin beds had mattresses that were unsupportive and very lumpy. Just well past their use-by dates. Two poor nights sleep really affects one's enjoyment of a place. If the owners invest in new mattresses this would be a really excellent place to stay.

Review 11:Lovely, well-appointed, spacious, modern house with free Wi-Fi.

Review 12:Small detail - it would be nice if the crockery was checked regularly as several plates and bowls had bad chips.

Review 13:Owner extremely helpful. House in excellent location and very clean.

Review 14:Only downside was the mattress in the double room but the owner already has this in hand.

Review 15:This house has everything you could possibly need. Very modern facilities. Spacious rooms. The surrounding view is amazing. It is in a very central location. We toured the entire west\south west of Ireland from Kenmare. Close proximity to shops and more than plenty of places to eat. Highly recommend this property

Review 16:- a small possibility for improvement: not enough pots and pans for cooking

Review 17:- we had a wonderful holiday; we enjoyed our stay in Kenmare very much; great house, very comfortable; great location

Review 18:Beds are not that comfortable, they could do with upgrading the mattresses.

Review 19:Location was great, it was about a ten minute walk into Kenmare town where there was a great selection of shops and restaurants. Checking in and out of the house was very easy and the house was well equipped.

Review 20:Mattresses didn't suit us so well. We decided to use twin beds and there seemed to have been an oversight as the linen hadn't been changed.

Review 21:We liked the specification of the house and the space, and the open fire. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this property.

Review 22:Attention to detail and basic maintenance required - a few light bulbs in the kitchen didn't work, the electric meter door needs fixings etc

Review 23:In a very quiet area with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. Very clean and plenty of space.

Review 24:You have to calculate your gas/electricity usage from the meter before your leave, and leave extra payment for that. It doesn't add up too much, but you should be aware of this beforehand.

Review 25:Great place to stay, and very good customer service - we left a wallet behind and called after we left, I think the owner/manager sent someone to look for it - he called us back within minutes to say he had our wallet :) Highly recommended.

Review 26:Utilities are extra, it would be easier if they were included in the price. The house was very nice, but there were a couple little maintenance issues that were a little annoying in the master bathroom. Beds are a little hard.

Review 27:Beautiful BIG house with lots of space. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The house has it's own parking spot right in the driveway. It's close to town and close to Killarney National Park. There were U.S. And European adapters in the bathrooms, so we didn't have to go out and buy any, but they were a bit finicky and would sometimes only work for a few minutes at a time. Great internet connection and the tv had a ton of channels. They provided a baby bed for us, which was much needed as we were traveling with a 1 year old. Overall, a great place to stay for our family of 5.

Review 28:Clean spacious warm house.

Review 29:Location was perfect for us and couldn't have faulted anything with the property.

Review 30:Great location, easy access to Kenmare and a comfortable base for excursions around Kerry and Cork. Couldn't ask for more.

Review 31:Nothing

Review 32:Property was excellent

Review 33:Just great location and lovely house. Enjoyed every minute.

Review 34:The fact that both showers were in bath so my elderly mother couldn't shower during our stay.

Review 35:Big well equipped kitchen

Review 36:Location was great
