Reviews for Harbour View Townhouses

Review 1:No handtowels, soap, or teatowels provided. I'd consider these basics. A little effort would make all the difference

Review 2:Nice view. House was warm and plenty of hot water.

Review 3:could do with a deep clean and a hoover beds were nice and clean so i was happy

Review 4:george the caretaker was extremely pleasant and helpful was very relaxed and close to village would definatley return

Review 5:No Instructions how to use Tele, thought it didn't work but worked it out eventually. Could do with a Paint as the walls were dirty. Could do with a proper clean as there were spiders everywhere, Initial Smell as we arrived was terrible, smelt like it had been locked up for months, musty smell, all we did was open every window for a couple of hours and it was fine, the 2 sofa's that were there had covers over them which was a good thing as they were filthy, wish the covers hadn't fallen off as we never sat on them after! DISGUSTING!!! Walk to the front door was over grass that was sodden due to weather, could do with a path of some kind. Felt sorry for the people that actually lived there, we were quite but i could imagine that with some the noise would upset the live in residents. Car Park was pitch black late at night unless someone was still up. Built in Fridge was loose causing it to nearly fall out of the area all the time. Window Blinds - Everyone was broken, snapped and wouldn't close properly. Lack of personal attention by the company on site location. Could get hold at all of William Fox, apparently he was off which the main office didn't know!. Could of done with some sort of Welcome Pack or at least an option to buy one, there was nothing but 1 toilet roll there..

Review 6:Price of accommodation! Which to be fair could of been the reason for the things we didn't like!? Loads of Information there for new guests. Location was nice got to see a little of the harbour in the very far distance! Even though there a few things we didn't like, if these things were done then it would be a great place to stay, once the initial problems were sorted we liked it, to be fair we were out everyday and every evening.. Would we come back or use the same company again? "Yes we would", We don't blame the holding company but the onsite people which was a real shame.

Review 7:Location and facilities perfect.

Review 8:Complex poorly maintained derelict building on site and dirty paintwork on outside of buildings not very inviting

Review 9:Close proximity to town

Review 10:house could be a bit cleaner. We got rotten baby cot!!!!

Review 11:location

Review 12:House very well presented and clean, staff very attentive and helpful, beautiful scenery

Review 13:The house was very shabby and seemed like it hadn't had much upkeep. On arrival we were told the TV didn't work which was difficult given we had young children to entertain. We're were also immediately asked to prepay for the electric storage heaters. There were no keys to lock doors on the toilets, no plugs for sinks or bath and no cleaning or dishwashers liquids / tablets. When we tried to light the fire we discovered no grate....

Review 14:Glengarriff is a lovely location

Review 15:No toilet roll, no washup liquid, no towels, asked us to leave €5 cashper day for electricity(which we did not leave as we had prepaid throughbooking.com), after explaining that we would be reluctant to pay anyadditional charges that weren't visible at time of booking theystill looked for payment. I would avoid staying here again as thisunderhand greed is unacceptable in this economic climate and especiallywhen their competitors seem to offer b&b from €30 per night, towels, toilet rolls, elec and heat included.

Review 16:Location

Review 17:Be careful, prices quoted are not accurate, when booking was confirmedand money taken we were then hit with an extra 7 euro per night forelectricity usage payable on arrival! There were 3 of us, we didn'tuse the cooking facilities or turn heating on, in my opinion this chargewas excessive and not mentioned when making the booking.

Review 18:Spacious accommodation at reasonable rates.

Review 19:being charged extra on arrival which was not part of package and was embarrasing

Review 20:location and scenery
