Review 10：Confusing, not well-marked parking. Received room key at check-in and walked in on a couple already in the room. (Manager did upgrade us and apologize w/ small bottle of wine.) On our last night, two strange women tried to enter our room. We called hotel security, who found them and ejected them - but they shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Review 12：1- According to the staff, the room should have been cleaned every day. I spent 8 nights at the hotel. The room was cleaned three times (twice because my family complained). The bed was not made every day either and the dirty towels not exchanged. 2- I am a very old woman and I speak only French and German. When I tried to get help from the desk, I was answered that nobody in the hotel speaks my language and was left abruptly unattended. 3- The room was booked with ebooking but the hotel staff and even the Fatal hotels chain don't know exactly the booking conditions, which leads to unpleasant discussions and verifications with the staff. 4- The VAT was erroneously added to my account during the check-out although a proof of my tourist status was requested and supplied during the check-in. 5- Two internal calls from the room to the desk were not answered at all, although they have been noticed (the staff was busy…). The hotel, while located close to the beach, is quite isolated. It is not convenient at all for elderly people or tourists without a car.

Review 13：Breakfast is good and plenty. Because we complained about the service, we were offered a dinner at the bar.

Review 16：The stench of smoking in the room was unbearable sometimes and we had to open the window, even in the freezing cold, just so we could breathe. It was coming from the air vents and although it is a smoke-free hotel, it only means that there is no smoking in the rooms and public areas. However, the staff can smoke in the staff restricted areas and the stench of their smoking travels through the building's ventilation system. The hotel is very dated and since it is a kosher hotel, the bar/restaurant in the lobby is closed on Saturdays, so you can't even get a cup of coffee.

Review 17：The location and breakfast were great. The staff were all very helpful and kind. WiFi was surprisingly free. The views, even from our lower level room, were amazing.

Review 18：When we came to pay my mother, 80 years old and frail, had lost the blue paper from immigration. Miri Capon, responsible for the well being of the guests, told her that she would not be allowed to leave the country without it. My mother was terribly upset and Miri sat there with no display of emotion whatsoever. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to acknowledge her tourist status and charged her as an Israeli!

Review 19：This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Leonardo and have always been happy here. The food is especially good and so s the room. However this time we had an unpleasant experience.

Review 24：Power outs in our suite. The kitchen was not equipped at all except a fridge and a kettle. No dishes, no forks or spoons. Shower head doesn't work. The pool is small, a background music was very noisy and heavy. Entertainment plan was not followed at all. My children tried twice to participate in shops and competitions and found nothing in the club. Only 4 elevators for the 20 floors building.

There was not much variety of food during breakfast. Usually when booking a room via this site we get an upgrade, but we did not this time.

Review 100：The hotel is the place to be! Situated at 50 meters away from the sea. The high-tech-center is as easy to reach as downtown or the big shopping malls. The staff is very friendly and the room (junior suite) was perfectly clean and wonderfuly situated on the top floors of the hotel. Breakfast was rich. We felt like at home.

Review 113：This is the only hotel in Haifa on the beach. The location is excelent, right on the promenade with all the restaurants. The public beach is across the road from the hotel, but this is the closest you can get in Israel. Almost all rooms have an amazing sea views.

Review 131：1. Service during breakfast is not good. Although there are plenty of staff, if you happen to arrive after 9:00, difficult to find a clean and ready table. No mugs or tea spoons are provided, so during our 10 days stay, I had to beg for a mug and later mix my coffee with my knife every single day...2. Hotel maintenance is not as it should be expected - corridors are not very clean, permanent bad smell on the 1st floor when exiting the elevators towards the kid's club 3. no free Internet connection - 20 USD a day to connect is an outrageous price! It should be made free.
