Review 2:The room was very spacious & comfortable

Review 3:The town was charming and friendly to walk around. The Pub connected to the hotel was perfect and the food was delicious. Room very comfortable and clean.

Review 6:none

Review 7:Lovely spacious room, clean fresh and everything you want. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Sea Food at affordable prices. The Pint of Guinness was creamy!!

Review 8:Room 116 - noise from extractor fan on roof meant it was difficult to sleep. Asked for room change on return visit - this was facilitated graciously. Breakfasts rather expensive @ €10pp

Review 9:Cleanliness, spacious room, friendly & helpful staff. Location excellent & free car parking.

Review 10:Being told I could have breakfast at 7.30 and then arrive for breakfast to find no staff and dining room closed. Then when checking out they tried to charge me for a breakfast I couldnt have.

Review 11:Location

Review 12:No signage from the car park to reception. The breakfast staff were less welcoming and our cooked breakfast was not hot.

Review 13:The decor in the hotel is of a very good standard, plush bedroom carpet and heavy lined curtains. Lovely soft fluffy bath towels. Both the bar and the restaurant have a good atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff.

Review 14:Non existent wi - fi and phone reception

Review 15:Greeting when we arrived, room was ready. Friendly, helpful staff throughout. Pleasant surroundings & central.

Review 16:Breakfast was excellent, quality of food and service were excellent, also a very good selection of foods provided. Cleanliness was of an exceptional high standard. Hotel is very well maintained with good quality comfortable beds and furnishings, I also liked the decor.,

Review 20:Stayed for 1 night in this hotel and was not disappointed. Room was Lovely, very modern and immaculately clean. Reception staff were very efficient , nothing was too much trouble. Ate in MacCathy's Bar, food was brilliant and again staff were lovely. Will definitely be back to this hotel

Review 21:The king-size mattress had a huge divet where I was supposed to sleep, and got higher in the middle. There was no fan in the bathroom, which made it impossible to defog. The outlets wouldn't work unless an associated light was turned on, so it was difficult to charge my phone.

Review 22:The shower was nice.

Review 23:Everything was fantastic! Reception staff were very friendly, food was great, room was spotless and had a very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Review 24:My only complaint is that my stay was too....short! I didn't want to leave!

Review 25:I recently surprised my husband to a night away to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. When we arrived at the hotel we were warmly welcomed by the very friendly receptionist Caroline. We mentioned in passing that we were celebrating our anniversary and we were given a complimentary upgraded room. This was a lovely surprise.. thank you again Caroline. The Room did not disappoint. It was spacious comfortable and immaculately clean. During our stay we enjoyed delicious food in the hotel's Bistro. I must say the staff were great throughout the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them! I stay in a lot of hotels around the country as I travel a lot with my job. Glengarriff Park Hotel is up there with one of the best I have stayed at! I would not hesitate to recommend this place to any of my Family and friends. I will also look forward to returning again myself. Well done Glengarriff Park Hotel and thanks again!

Review 26:From the booking process I expected a room with a view - we were upgraded at check in so that may explain why we did not have a view - but given the location of the hotel I'm not sure how much of a view we would have had either way. Not a huge deal - and the weather was atrocious so we wouldn't have seen much anyway - but someone interested in a view might not get what they are looking for here.

Review 27:The ro was spacious, comfortable and clean. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant (reservations recommended for dinner) and both meals were very good. My husband and I also had drinks and enjoyed the live band in the attached pub and had a very good time. All in all a pleasurable experience!

Review 28:We really like the location of this hotel , in the centre of pretty Glengarriff. We enjoyed crocks of Mussels with a glass of wine , sitting outside in the lovely outside seating area & later a very good Steak in the Bar. The staff are friendly & attentive. We will be back.

Review 29:No authentic Irish music in bar. Shower head in bathroom needs replaced, no wash cloths,

Review 30:Food, Staff, Cleanliness, friendliness, nice restaraunt and bar.

Review 31:Got free upgrade - unexpected and very welcome; friendly staff, particularly at reception. Room was lovely, good bar food and breakfast. Breakfast available until 11am - great bonus as is the 12;15 checkout time. Central location and good parking.Free wifi also good.

Review 32:the information about the points of interest were poor. The stuff could give better advise as the are is so beautyful such as the isle of Garinich with the gardens. the staff durring breakfast was not in a good mood in the morning at 8 am.

Review 33:The hotel is well equipped, room, clean and big enough. ¨The food was good in the restaurant. The lady at the reception was really friendly.

Review 34:I was slightly disappointed that we couldn't have dinner in the restaurant, but had to go through to McCarthy's Bar next door. Apparently the restaurant is open on weekends only.

Review 35:Very nice and clean hotel, spacious rooms with comfortable beds!

Review 36:Nothing!

Review 37:This hotel is ideally located on the main street in Glengarriff with ample parking available. The rooms were very spacious & spotless and the staff were very friendly. The food from the restaurant was lovely - great flavours & great portion sizes. I only stayed for one night at this hotel but based on this stay I would definitely recommend it to all.

Review 38:Visited town on quiet days and town was a bit dead but can't complain about hotel.

Review 39:Comfortable clean room in the centre of town with everything you needed. Great little pub attached with surprisingly good food and very friendly barman.

Review 40:wi-fi not very good

Review 41:room and bed very comfortable with warmed floor in the bathroom. Very good food and breakfast. Just the wi-fi signal was not very good especially into the room. Raccomended

Review 42:The food, though well cooked & presented was mediocre & bland.A little zest in the menu wouldn't go astray. Though that being said,I will return in the future.

Review 43:Staff were friendly & very helpful. Breakfast was served until 11 a.m.,which is really great, when there's no rush to be anywhere. The bedroom was roomy, bright & clean. We had a very pleasant, relaxed five days there.

Review 44:Cold room heating not on till 6pm in the evening, it was turned off all night then not on again until on at 7am.

Review 45:fresh rooms nice staff, but heating should be left on at night and in the day,

Review 46:Very few staff no one at reception, chowder was awful at lunch and restaurant was closed around half 8 on a friday night we had to go some place else to eat. No music in hotel either.

Review 47:Rooms were clean

Review 48:Would like them to include breakfast in the total cost.

Review 49:The location was convenient, easy to find, parking was available, and the room was really great, spacious with all amenities. They had nice towels with washcloths (a rarity in Ireland). It was comfortable, the bed was pretty good. Breakfast was nice. It was a true hotel, which was nice. Even the towel warmers were on.

Review 50:We stayed here for a night while attending the funeral of a family member. They were out of this world and we could not thank them enough for everything. Rooms superb and the staff brilliant, nice and friendly, helpful and professional. I would have no hesitation to go back. In fact I will go back.

Review 51:Did not like that we were both woken up on the two mornings with wake up calls when we didnt ask for them. We didnt get the rest we wanted cause the trip was supposed to be for us to rest and get away from our jobs to relax. I said it to reception twice about it. First time was after the first night and I was told that it be taken off which it wasnt. I said it on the day we were going home and I was told that it was never mentioned to reception in which it was said to them. They told me they could do nothing about the situation.

Review 52:The food was very good. It was very tasty. Service was a bit slow but the food was well worth the wait. Would definitely stay again.

Review 53:This is a overall wonderful hotel experience. Superb service and friendly staff. Great food in the attached pub and good off street parking. The perfect hotel to stay for your adventure tour of the ring of Berra and the south west coast of Ireland

Review 54:no direct access to the hotel from the car park (when you have suitcases) . a little disappointed the en suite had no bath

Review 55:thought the staff were very friendly and efficient, the hotel was very clean and as above the location central

Review 56:We moved the beds around and found wrappers and such underneath. So not thorough cleaning in the room.

Review 57:Central location on Main Street with parking in back.

Review 58:I was taking part in the cycle but breakfast did not start very early on this occasion I felt they could have offered a earlier breakfast in light of the start time of the cycle

Review 59:Every thing was great

Review 60:We were down for rebel tour if cork perfect location to stay for it.Staff were great food was excellent as usual, room was comfortable this was our second year staying here and would stay again without a doubt great hotel great location

Review 61:Our stay of 2 days was too short, it won't be the next time we visit this wonderful hotel.

Review 62:Liked Everything. The Location. The service, the staff catered for your every need then when the extra mile. 5 star plus all day long. The food was just delicious, every mouthful, " Food heaven"

Review 63:We had a bit of misunderstanding with the GPS and had some troubles to get there, however our way back it was easy enough. and currently we laughed about this incident. This town is small but very charismatic. FYI there are no ATM´s there and the option to get cash back is not available everywhere. However we had a great time with the locals and staff was brilliant. Fully recommended!! and the landscape is amazing!

Review 64:Could of had breakfast included for the price... food in restaurant was terrible . Everything we ordered arrived at our table burnt and portions wer very small for the price

Review 65:I couldnt fault the hotel it was beautiful and rooms wer lovely and comfy

Review 66:couldn't get a table in the dining room, only the bar for dinner one night, in the hotel despite there being availability in the dining room. This was just before 6:30pm after we had been told we didn't need to book..fortunately, three doors up there was a better restaurant but hotel could have done better

Review 67:the breakfast, the dinner when could get a table, the location

Review 68:The actual hotel and location did not live up to the impression gained from the on-line information. eg., no sign of a park and restaurant arrangements rather odd

Review 69:The Restaurant 'under' staff. Whilst the Restaurant Manager and his 'local staff' were very good, the foreign waiters were poor. They found it difficult to understand what we wanted.

Review 70:Superb location and quality hotel. Parking excellent. Restaurant manager Outstanding.

Review 71:restaurant menu didn't specify that fish was deep-fried - which spoils the freshness of the wild Atlantic fish, so ask the waiter to be sure what you'll get

Review 72:shower was excellent, floor heating in the bathroom, very comfortable bedding, parking is excellent

Review 73:No Internet connection as I had to drive a distance to get a signal .Some guests made a lot of noise especially the one next door one night .Breakfast was slow being served .

Review 74:Friendly staff .A good central location to town

Review 75:All good

Review 76:The hotel was excellent in all departments. Breakfast was extra so we walked to Jim's coffee house at the edge of the village - recommended. Parking was good.

Review 77:-just one thing... watch when you pay in restaurant, cause the waiter/barman cheated on us when we paid for the dinner. He added one more pint and one more glass of vine extra. And it wasn't only us, because the couple next to us had the same issue.

Review 78:-great location -big and comfortable bed -very nice and clean room -very tasty food in restaurant

Review 79:We enjoyed the position of the hotel and the staff very friendly. The food was excellent and catered for my daughter who had food sensitivities, also were coeliac friendly.

Review 80:Bar and restaurant being closed on Sundays

Review 81:Good facilities bar and restaurant. Ease of access to local bars and restaurants. Good accessibility from the ferry port

Review 82:Sadly, the menu in the restaurant and adjoining bistro and pub did not inspire. . Tourist info office was right across street, but this was not open at end of June (apparently opened mid-July) and surprisingly, Hotel did not have a great deal of information. Would have expected there to be leaflets available.

Review 83:Excellent location in centre of village. Spacious room and bath room. Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy parking.

Review 84:No extraction fan in the bathroom and the room steams up badly. The mirror is in the wrong position for drying hair.
