Review 1：a very well equipment apartment with the easy find location. And we are so excited to see the Northern Light in the living room. Recommend to all the tourist.
Review 2：We really appreciated having space and the chance to see the Northern Lights. The property is about 2km from the town centre but driving was easy and it wasn't a problem to find a place for the evening meal. We enjoyed the Healthy Pizza at the Salt restaurant.
Review 3：There isn't a reception, so you have to phone to be let in. There's an email they send with the information. A minor gripe, but you should travel with some kind of phone plan in Iceland in case some of these places need you to call for a person to come and let you in.
Review 4：We were surprised to discover how wonderfully spacious the apartments were. For the price we paid, it was an amazing deal. Fully stocked kitchens (I mean, with appliances, kitchenware), and towels and linen included. Both apartments had 4 beds, even though when I booked, it said limited to 3 people in each. The view was amazing from the balcony. We also were treated to a brief view of the northern lights. Please note, if you're travelling the ring road, it's all gravel around the point where Googlemaps suggests you take Oxi Pass for a shorter drive. But have no fear, it becomes asphalt again about 30 minutes away from Egilsstadir.
Review 5：There is no reception, you just get a key once you arrive and leave it at the key box. Apartment has everything for cooking (plates, toaster, coffee machine), and even shampoo and shower gel, which is not so typical. Simple, clean and easy to stay.
Review 6：When paying this amount of money it always annoys me when you have to give the place a clean as well. This particular establishment went above the normal wash dishes and strip beds and said that we had to scrub the toilets and wash the floors!! And if we didn't do it we'd get slugged another 6000KR (30 pound). Considering that the place was quite filthy when we arrived with hundreds of bugs both living and dead hugging each windowsill I was not overly impressed. Wifi was also not working the second day we were there but they did try and fix that.
Review 7：Nice spacious cabin by the lake. Close to supermarket and petrol station. Bed was relatively comfortable and extra bedding could be found in the cupboards if you got a little chilly.
Review 8：Apartment was perfectly functional but felt a bit tired and could use an update. Also, blinds didn't cover entire bedroom window so we were up with the Icelandic dawn.

Review 12：Apartment was not cleaned well - bathtub was full of hair, dishes were not washed well - we had to wash all before using (and no dishwasher in the apartment, so had to do it by hand). Unfortunately, once you see hair in the bathtub and dirty dishes, you start questioning cleanness of the rest of the place, linens, etc... Would have had a much better experience if the place was cleaned better.
Review 13：Apartment is large and spacious and has a nice view. Also, it looks like a place real people live in (i.e. doesn't look like a hotel, or an institutional property) and is comfy.
Review 14：The flat was last renewed in the 70?s. The orange bathroom is pretty scary. The smell inside the apartment is something that will lead you to nightmares and will follow you for days on your clothes. The tv was not working, the dvd player wasn't in the house, the fridge was really noisy. There was also a bottle full of fag end near the window. the price was really expensive.

Review 18：We arrived the apartment on 11pm, very late after the self check-in time. But with a phone call, one staff got back to us immediately and gave us the key. Thank her very much for saving us on that cold June night! The staff is always willing to help. The apartment is huge and is OK for even 4 to 5 people.
Review 19：Spacious apartment with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. We loved the slightly "retro" feeling. Clear check-in instructions were provided in advance in e-mail, we received the keys at the local tourist info.

Review 24：Egilsstadir gave us the opportunity to branch out to the eastern fjords. The apartment was overlooking the Lagarfljor river. It was close to the swimming pool and the grocery store was convenient.

Also, having to pick up the keys in a camping makes the whole procedure a bit slow. The bathroom tubes smell a little bit, although this is probably due to the water being naturally heated.
